this is making me want to go back to fallout 4 for the builds. its so addicting
Once I used the concrete foundations as giant blocks to fill in the gaps in the pentagon fortress settlement, it took hours of fighting the placement system to get them to all fit in there correctly but when I was done it looked like a solid wall and you could even walk all the way around the top. The only way in was through the front gate which is where I placed all the turrets, guards, and traps. I don't think I ever had a single enemy inside the walls after that.
Great idea!.... Maybe I need to make a video about my own version?

I really like this build.
And I'll admit that I was pretty sceptical about settlement building when I first started playing FO4, but ended up being one of my favourite things to do.

I built tall like this before and couldn’t figure out the stairs so I put in an elevator. It was even more difficult to figure out so I scrapped the building lol
Stairs have been an ongoing hurdle for me lol

I gotta ask, do you build all of these things (the swamp build, the sanctuary city build, the minutemen airship build) in one save file? Or do you make a new game every time you start building a new settlement
I made a specific playthrough just for my RUclips settlement builds. I'm not super precious of any of them because I always want to try new things. The Airship/Plane no longer exists in the current save file. I have something bigger and better coming. Video soon.
Using place everywhere, couldn't you shift the stairs down a tick or two to get rid of that gap? It would get rid of the lip above the floor at the top as well. Additionally, Woody's Wasteland Stuff mod has filler pieces to fill in the gaps between walls when you don't have a floor piece. Either that or you can use Warehouse/barn height walls to fill that space, using Place everywhere if it gets weird about snapping.
Also, what mod are you using for the clean wood shack textures? I've seen replacer mods on the nexus, but not one that does that as a standalone. Is that CVC? I didn't see the label on the item description

One question, are your bunk beds actually for two people? The mod I use has bunkbeds which count as two beds but it says that the settlers only use one of the two beds.
yeah this is the case. I don't think there's an animation for the top bunk.
I wish I could have these mods on ps5.

how do you design things as Godmode...in different places out of the designated places?
Mods. Search "Conquest - Build New Settlements and Camping" on Nexus mods. You can place a settlement almost anywhere you want.
what kind of mods did you used?
- Conquest (to build on that spot)
- Place Everywhere (to put objects where I want)
- Snap N' Build (to make the building)
They're the main ones. Can be found on Nexus Mods
