The Stream Co. one was where she was criticized for removing her music from streaming services because she'd rather make money from selling it, where it was actually because she wanted to help "poorer" artists make money there. That's also why she was seen ransacking the money and gold!

really, i got to watch that part over but i liked how she channeled her inner mj during the intro and i loved how she was all in leather, this has to be hands down the best American Music Video (some kpop mv's have done better) I have ever seen and her best mv/song with Bad Blood coming second !

I honestly think there is her middle finger to the haters and the people who have backstabbed her. I think it is to Kanye who indeed did set her up. The recording that was supposed to be the smoking gun? he says I will say me and Taylor might still have sex. She laughs yeah that's cool. But nowhere did you hear her say yes it's ok to say you made me and calling me a bitch is fine. I don't get it. So she wrote songs about her break ups. Yes, she has had a few. NOWHERE do you hear her or him mention calling her a bitch or saying he made her! Nowhere.
If they had a full video of Kanye actually telling Taylor the "I made that Bitch famous" part, don't you think they would have shown it?? That's just the kind of person that Kim K. is. They told Taylor one thing and recorded it. It was close enough to the truth that everyone would think that Taylor was lying, but then Kanye ad-libbed the "bitch famous" part and failed to inform Taylor.
The Stream Co. was a reference to the fact that when she took her music off Spotify and wrote the letter to apple music and stuff saying they should pay artists more, everyone was saying she was just money hungry, hence the robbery.
I didn't love the song but the music video completely justified it, she created an amazing pop culture moment we can't stop talking about, a great return debut after all this time. She's a marketing genius!

The Katy Perry part has to do with Red. If you notice she crashes a Maserati, and the song Red, she is in a Maserati. At least that is my speculation.
It isn't a Maserati tho, the car is a Bugatti(Identifiable by the the grill before impact and the steering wheel having an EB). But your speculation overall may still be accurate although I've seen it be rumored that it's a nod to Perry's Unconditionally song and Music Video

Actually I think it's a fandom joke, the Grammy since in the song red she mentions a maserati and lots of swifties still think Red deserved a grammy. Hence, Red finally got a a grammy.

I my opinion the bird cage was a reference to Harry Styles since they dated and he has a birdcage tattoo, I think she really fell in love with him and he didn't love her the same and it hurt her. Also everyone says the birdcage has to do with Miley Cyrus but idk cuz I'm not sure she had any beef with her?

For me the bird cage reminded me of Lindsay Lohan's music video for Rumors which is the first music video I can recall using the bird cage. It could be a reference to that especially when you take into account the lyrics of the songs, which is in a way what she is addressing in this music video. And of course the whole gilded cage thing. That's how I interpret it anyway but who knows.
I just think it's a metaphor to say that she's trapped. She's wearing an orange suit which represents prison. Everyone is making her out to be this terrible person and were do you go if you're a terrible person? Prison.
This Taylor Swift's video is amazing, probably the most iconic of her videos until now. This is full of shading. When I watched it, I see that had adressed many things: Kayne West and Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry, Spotify (she had problems with streaming companies when she claimed they didn't pay artists fairly), Demi Lovato (who said this word, squad. The motorcycle scene reminded me of Lovato's video Confident). At the end, she adresses herself and shows us she is aware of her critcs. And does not give a shit for it. I really have never seen Taylor Swift like that. I loved it soo much!

There is sooo much in it that you can't get it all in one watch. Watch almost frame by frame and look at all the details. Lots of TS and 13s in background like in the smoke. As for the bank vault and streaming. She fought the streaming companies for better $ for the artists and got a lot of grief for it. There is $1 in the bath of jewels representing her case. I am sooo proud of her. I love that you are a guy and picked up on a lot of stuff that typically most guys fans don't. Good job! And I loved watching your enthusiasm. Nicely done. She literally “crashes and burns” (the car explodes but she walks away before it can burn her), and the paparazzi just stand there taking pictures. She is holding the Grammy because people say she only writes about being the victim (she crashed her own car so it’s her fault but she still gets an award out of it). Genius metaphor

The song is downright annoying but I hate repetitive songs so that's just me. I have to give it to her on the video. It was brilliant with the exception of the swipe at Tom with the I heart TS shirts. He's an exceptional man and he doesn't deserve any disrespect. He also spoke very kindly of her after the whole drama thing.
