I saw an interview with Joseph khan and he said he loved working with Taylor because she was one of the few artists who understood the work he was doing and never rushed him. She always had a clear vision of what she wanted and this actually gave him something to work with and also completely trusted his intuition from working in the industry and allowed him to change what was needed where
I second to this. Since her debut, she's always been hands-on to her craft. Be it her songs, lyrics, music videos, tours, meet and greet, surprises to fans, even the "easter eggs" hints of future engagements. It takes a talented person to do all of these. She's still at the top of her game for a reason.
This is my favorite music video of all time. The effects, the attention to detail, the small things Taylor herself added in like et tu brute, the grave text, and the billion other "Easter eggs". But more than that, Taylor battling all her "old selves" and the media's reputation of her... just... just iconic 🥰 the whole thing is just stunning and so well thought out by everybody!
I am guessing we can all respect those choices, and Easter eggs, that much more now that we have proof KKW and KW malicious lies. I hate that she has had these experiences, but she isn't scared to stand her ground, never stop speaking her truth, and making money off of all the BS. It is impressive
I liked her before this, but this is just too wrong... it’s a phrase abusers love to use to blame their victims for their abuse, and for someone who claims to have been sexually abused...
And the first time I noticed how the bathtub filled with diamonds scene with the reflection being separate shots. Jordan discovered something the FBI Swifties didn't. omg

Taylor is communicating a message, not just in the lyrics but with the numerous symbolic references she takes the time to put in. Sometimes they are just fun easter eggs for the fans to find but often they are specific to the person the song is about. Nothing in her videos is by chance. I'm about to break it down and try to list as many easter eggs put in this mv -the first scene represents how the 1989 era is dead because if you look closely you can see that she(zombie) is wearing the same dress she wears in Out of the Woods and that was essentially the end of the 1989 era. She's also burying Taylor in her Met Gala dress which was the beginning of the 1989 era. The graveyard is the same set which was in the OOTW music video. There is one gravestone on which "Nils Sjoberg" is written which was the pseudonym she used for writing Calvin Harris' hit song "This is what you came for" -the second scene references how the media as well as haters believes Taylor is rich and makes too much money. The diamonds used were authentic. There was also a one dollar note among the diamonds which was the dollar she won on her sexual assault case -the third scene references how Red deserved a Grammy. It may also be seen as a subtle dig at Katy Perry not having a grammy. If you know your cars, she's driving a Maserati and that references her song Red "loving him was like driving a new Maserati down a dead end street" -caged Taylor represents how she feels trapped as a celebrity as the media is watching her every move. The caged bird can also represent how she as an artist is trapped by her records label and her struggles to own her master's. -queen of snakes is obvious -Taylor robbing a bank is how media and haters believe she is money hungry and how she's robbing Spotify when she removed her catalog from streaming services : notice it says streaming co. -the scene with all the Barbie-like girls references how everyone believes you have to be looking a certain way to get into Taylors squad. Though she has time and again mentioned that the 'squad' is not real -her in the mansion with the formation of men references that she uses men to write her own music. See there are eight men which can be seen as her eight ex boyfriends -each taylor fighting each other references how the media believes she goes through personal identity crisis and would do whatever to be on top -the phone call is about kanye west who called her to frame her as a lier. The 'old Taylor is dead' references to a mural one artist made saying Taylor is dead after the edited phone call was releasd. -then Taylor destroying the plane is the medias perception of her. The girl who ruins everything. It can also be seen as the plane was her plans for her upcoming era TS6 which had to be cancelled (cutting off the wing) and reputation took its place(spray painting the plane) - she also lifts up two motorcycles which is another dig at her previous record label because she was the biggest singer they had and basically she was their money making machine. She puts a lots of Easter eggs in her music videos for her fans to hunt them down. Look what you made me do might be the career topping music video she made because the details were put so intricately. There are still a lot of unraveled Easter eggs that the fans haven't found out yet. You’re right! But as an editor in this business you’d be surprised how little influence the artist has in how it’s shot and edited. Usually, they influence more of the big picture.

I love how you professionally reacted on the LWYMMD MV. I have watched this mv multiple time and I did not notice that things you have mentioned on your reaction. I learned a lot of things and I thank u for that. There's a number of Taylor Swift's MVs that were directed by Joseph Kahn.... Blank space, Wildest Dreams and Out of the woods are his 😊 Please react to them 😁
Yesss the LWYMMD video deserves all the love in the world. I didn’t even love the song when it first came out and then I saw the video and it just all clicked. And I then I had to see it like a million times to get points in Ticketmaster’s verifies fan program and I still notice new things in it every time I watch it
I love all the little hidden messages they sneak in also, for example when shes laying in the tub next to a $1 bill. This is because she countersued the man who sexually assaulted her for $1 to make the point it wasn't about money (says a lot while laying in a bath of jewels) And the grave next to hers reads 'Nils Sjoberg', the name she used in the song credits for This Is What You Came For etccccc
Yeah that makes it more interesting that she’d sue someone she claimed sexually assaulted her and then made a song using a phrase abusers use to blame their victims for their abuse...
I was obsessed with this video when it came out! Whenever I wanted to listen to the song, I just had to watch the video because it enhanced it so much! My friend thought the video was "too weird". I was so disappointed in her when she said that, I also wish more music videos were like this.
I've watched this music video more than i can count, and was obsessed and read all about the easter eggs. either i've forgoten some clips or the fandom hasn't caught the thing you've talked about. like her lips didn't match with the song, or the reflection in the mirror isn't a reflection at all. and the zombie taylor shouting "OH!" when the beat dropped. wow, the video just keeps on giving. thanks for the reminder that i need to rewatch it. i might've still missed something lol but the killing eve's look what you made me do made sense. because of the dolphin and the leopard lol thanks!
The different reflection on the mirror was already been picked up by the fans when the music video came out. Along with the $1 bill and “NO” shaped jewelry during the bathtub scene as well as Nils Sjoberg(Taylor’s pseudonym on her ex’s track This Is What You Came For) engraved on the tombstone and so much more. But like you said, I’ve seen this music video so many times but this is the first time I’ve seen that her mouth doesn’t match the track during the mirror to throne sequence.
Ok, I already love the song and the storytelling the video has, due to all the things she was replying on it in order to restore her reputation, but now, OMG, I love it even more!!!!!! Taytay, you are my queen!
this really explains why I enjoy this music video so much, usually i get bored after a while and I just stop paying attention but now even three years after the original release i am udderly entranced by it. its just cut so well and its put together so nicely
Thank you for reacting to this. Taylor and Joseph worked on a lot of music videos together and all of them are great, though, yeah, look what you made me do is on top. I hope you'll react to "Out Of The Woods" which is also a Joseph video. and they filmed mostly on location so it's cool to know that it was shot on location (though of course they also filmed in a sound stage). here's video of behind the scenes of Out Of The Woods mv where Taylor and Joseph talk about it: Out Of The Woods music video behind the scenes: ruclips.net/video/TXJlB9riS1Y/видео.html Look What You Made Me Do behind the scenes: ruclips.net/video/4DBO3U-bO-A/видео.html&t= Also hope you'll react to 'Wildest Dreams' cause it's also was filmed on location in Africa by Joseph.
@@JordanOrme Yeah that video is amazing! Joseph Kahn even went to Africa to film the animals so he could CGI them into the music video. They also filmed a lot from helicopters and even filmed in places in New Zealand where almost no humans had ever been to. For sure my favourite video from her!

This is low key the biggest music video for a pop song You can tell that the budget was massive, they had the best possible team and every single shot is on point. Amazing
i just realized when she is being buried in the beginning it is out of the woods taylor burying met gala 2014 taylor showing that that taylor is dead because of what she went through in out of the woods or that relationship then it flashes to who she became because of it and thats all in the first 30 seconds
You’re about to have sooooo many swifties requesting more from you (me included). Joseph Khan and Taylor have made some of the most beautiful music videos together and I would highly suggest Wildest Dreams or Out of the Woods next 👀
I felt this on another level. I heard the song on the radio first and thought it was ok. But when I saw the video, I just freaking died. It was SO well put together, I watched it sooo many times. This pointed out some things I didn't notice, like the rack shot in the mirror. Amazing 👏 when a video can illicit such strong responses, that's when you know you've done your job! S/O to Khan, TS, and you~

You should react to all her music videos from 1989 to reputation. Those videos are dope. Are like a short films, You will not regret. most of her videos have been directed by Joseph Kahn.
Taylor story boards her own videos. Is like she writes the script for the film and then the director shoots based on it. I love your video but I think people should make some digging into the video process or at least the artist before making a video like this. So annoying how Taylor's vision and works is often overlooked and that credit is given to the man lol. 🙄
@@benc6335 Not in this case, though. LWYMMD is Taylor's most personal, full of hidden messages videos of her career... it was her first video after she was gone for two years and she wanted to convey all the things she didn't talk about in that time. This video is all her.... Joseph took her vision and made it real.
i think you misunderstood the term story board. Story boarding is literally drawing out the shots of the video before shooting the video so they know shot by shot what they need to do while shooting the video. Taylor provides the stories, ideas and hidden details but Joseph and the team were responsible for creating the shots and the cinematography of the video, which is what Jordan was praising.
@@jinghengchia2201 I don't agree totally with the original comment because the editors did the majority of the work Taylor made the idea which is cool but you can't give her all the credit and say that the editor doesn't deserve any. For example plenty of people have an idea for a book but the amazing people are the ones who write out an idea, write it well and actually bring it to life. But I do agree with the fact he should have done his research better. At 2:30 he literally takes the credit from Taylor by saying he also created the storyboard which isn't true. So, you're both wrong... Lol
There's a big difference between vision and execution. He's talking about the direction techniques themselves, not really about the themes and easter eggs of the video.
when you got thirty seconds in, I was taking a drink and started coughing when you said "that's enough" because honestly I was completely done in the best way after just that scene too
I think the shot at the beginning with the tilted tombstones would've been more impactful if the camera was tilted with the tombstones as well. With Taylor standing straight up still. Then when she shifts the tombstones back up, the camera follows and tilts back with the tombstone. Then the camera does a small shake at the end as it's being set back in place. (Recently found your channel and subscribed. Love your videos

Jordan Orme her video to the man is one she directed herself and Me is crazy from the editing standpoint
Absolutely LOVED wildest dreams, and also all those mvs omg didnt know joseph was the man behind the editing. What incredible skill and talent!!
You've just started a Joseph Khan fan club. I'm obsessed
hahahah
Bruhhh, after 3 years, the reflection was neww
....shooketh
I remember this video came out and everyone went feral.
I pooped myself.
A lot of people it’s because this phrase is exactly what too many abusers use to blame their victims for their abuse...
Not bad otherwise
I remembered skipping my exam for this 😂 I passed it tho
@@jddclovesjrcb so proud of u
I love how you professionally reacted on the LWYMMD MV. I have watched this mv multiple time and I did not notice that things you have mentioned on your reaction. I learned a lot of things and I thank u for that. There's a number of Taylor Swift's MVs that were directed by Joseph Kahn.... Blank space, Wildest Dreams and Out of the woods are his 😊 Please react to them 😁
I'll check them out! I'm so glad you enjoyed the reaction! Thanks for the comment!
"Out Of The Woods", "Style" and "...Ready For It?" music video for me are ones of Taylor's best videos; editing, effect and concept wise.
I'll check them out!
It's just like Taylor and Joseph are match made in heaven, she gave the narratives and he made it come alive
Yesss the LWYMMD video deserves all the love in the world. I didn’t even love the song when it first came out and then I saw the video and it just all clicked. And I then I had to see it like a million times to get points in Ticketmaster’s verifies fan program and I still notice new things in it every time I watch it
It's crazyy!
seeing Justin Bieber's editor reacting to Taylor Swift's MV feels so weird. nice video tho love it.
Hahaha I guess that is kind of weird?
I love all the little hidden messages they sneak in also, for example when shes laying in the tub next to a $1 bill. This is because she countersued the man who sexually assaulted her for $1 to make the point it wasn't about money (says a lot while laying in a bath of jewels) And the grave next to hers reads 'Nils Sjoberg', the name she used in the song credits for This Is What You Came For etccccc
Yeah that makes it more interesting that she’d sue someone she claimed sexually assaulted her and then made a song using a phrase abusers use to blame their victims for their abuse...
Not bad otherwise
@@Cassxowary yes she feels she is abused.
Herta Schneider “claimed”....there is photographic evidence that he assaulted her it was during a meet and greet
@@Cassxowary There actually photographic evidence of it and it was proved in the court , wtf are you saying ???
omg this is the best reaction i've ever seen, so professional and WOW. hope you react to other taylor swift music videos❣
Thanks so much!
I was obsessed with this video when it came out! Whenever I wanted to listen to the song, I just had to watch the video because it enhanced it so much! My friend thought the video was "too weird". I was so disappointed in her when she said that, I also wish more music videos were like this.
Yes! I totally agree!
I've watched this music video more than i can count, and was obsessed and read all about the easter eggs. either i've forgoten some clips or the fandom hasn't caught the thing you've talked about. like her lips didn't match with the song, or the reflection in the mirror isn't a reflection at all. and the zombie taylor shouting "OH!" when the beat dropped. wow, the video just keeps on giving. thanks for the reminder that i need to rewatch it. i might've still missed something lol
but the killing eve's look what you made me do made sense. because of the dolphin and the leopard lol thanks!
HAHAH thanks so much! I'm so happy you enjoyed the video :)
I also madly in love with the dance sequence at the end!! And we literally had the same reactions
Right! It’s crazy...
WTF. Nobody noticed the clapping taylor on the reflection during the bath tub scene BUT YOU! Omg! Ur mind
Haha I just discovered it!! 😂😂
2:06 knowing Taylor Swift is a perfectionist and care about every detail in her music video, I am convinced that the transition was her idea
3:47-3:52 she was clapping!? wow i never noticed the clap omg! i- i'm shook 😮😮
Ok, I already love the song and the storytelling the video has, due to all the things she was replying on it in order to restore her reputation, but now, OMG, I love it even more!!!!!! Taytay, you are my queen!
YAS
this was so interesting and something i’ve never thought about
Thanks for watching!
I'm just a simple fan i see taylor. I clickkkk
😂
React more to Taylor Swift music video specially in her 1989 and reputation era
We'll see!!
I love how jordan here is reserved and now he is WILD.
this really explains why I enjoy this music video so much, usually i get bored after a while and I just stop paying attention but now even three years after the original release i am udderly entranced by it. its just cut so well and its put together so nicely
It’s true! The story is super clean. I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
Out of the woods by Taylor Swift! Her most visually pleasing video ever! There's also behind the scene videos too!
I'll check it out!
Jordan Orme omg yes please
Thank you for reacting to this. Taylor and Joseph worked on a lot of music videos together and all of them are great, though, yeah, look what you made me do is on top. I hope you'll react to "Out Of The Woods" which is also a Joseph video. and they filmed mostly on location so it's cool to know that it was shot on location (though of course they also filmed in a sound stage). here's video of behind the scenes of Out Of The Woods mv where Taylor and Joseph talk about it:

Also hope you'll react to 'Wildest Dreams' cause it's also was filmed on location in Africa by Joseph.
Thanks for all of this! I'll check it out!
This is literally the best thing I’ve ever watched, like the whole piece of your educatement video is incredible, especially your reactions 😭
Thanks!
YOUR CONTENT IS THE BEST ON RUclips! I am here for two hours seeing your videos 👏 Thank you
OMG no way! That means so much.. thanks :)
I like how this guy tells us he is actuslly qualified to make comments
please react to wildest dreams by taylor swift pleaseeeeee
We'll see!
@@JordanOrme Yeah that video is amazing! Joseph Kahn even went to Africa to film the animals so he could CGI them into the music video. They also filmed a lot from helicopters and even filmed in places in New Zealand where almost no humans had ever been to. For sure my favourite video from her!
@@JordanOrme reacts to bad blood too
@@JordanOrme for me as a swiftie Wildest Dreams has the best visuals of Taylor Swift in history
Out of the Woods PLEASE
love taylor
🙌🏼
Wow, I never realized the mirror reflection is different until you called it out.
Dude me either until I watched it THIS time. I probably missed it 100 times.😂
Jordan Orme Taylor is known to put tons of easter eggs in her videos, and probably there are still a lot that are undiscovered. I am a huge fan of Joseph too. He also did some of Britney’s iconic music videos. More power to your channel. Keep safe man!
Jordan hi, just encountered your videos on youtube. incredible job. I'm a copywriter and still I learn a lot from your videos because I always visualize when I write. AND it's criminal you don't have more videos. Now they're all done and I don't know what to do with my life. lol you're a gem. glad I found your channel. keep up the excellent work! cheers from Turkey.
Omg Matt this is the kindest thing ever! I feel like writing and editing are very similar! So dope that you enjoy the videos! New one each week!
Jordan Orme can’t wait! 🤸🏻♂️
OH MY GOD THE LWYMMD MV IS SO ICONIC
YAS
This is ICONiC! Just a Swifty can know all the references, Taylor and the director are the best duo of American music videos LITERALLY because with all the references this is the music video MONA LISA😀
OMG just subscribed. If this is your first Taylor MV i hope you go check her other videos cause even tho i am not an expert in videos i can tell that you're in it for a ride. She got some of the best MVs out there. Every bit has their own story to tell and that she's always involved in the making of the storyline. Looking forward.
I'll check it out! Thanks for the recommendations!
Please do so ... Your expertise in editing gives me life !!! You're a BOSS !!
This is low key the biggest music video for a pop song
You can tell that the budget was massive, they had the best possible team and every single shot is on point. Amazing
i just realized when she is being buried in the beginning it is out of the woods taylor burying met gala 2014 taylor showing that that taylor is dead because of what she went through in out of the woods or that relationship then it flashes to who she became because of it and thats all in the first 30 seconds
You’re about to have sooooo many swifties requesting more from you (me included). Joseph Khan and Taylor have made some of the most beautiful music videos together and I would highly suggest Wildest Dreams or Out of the Woods next 👀
On it! Keep an eye out!
This was literally the first music video i was so amazed, and loved that i seriously felt electricity run through me of how satisfied i was 💀💀💀
Right!?
"I might be turned on right now" 😂😂 but seriously I love how much he loves what he does
Awww thanks man! :)
I LITERALLY HAVE CHILLS WITH THAT MUSIC VIDEO. A M A Z I N G
I KNOW
reflection on the glasses is a vibe
This is her best vid and comeback 🤩
They killed it!
React to "Delicate" by Taylor, it's directed by Joseph as well.
Probably coming soon!
Keep up the good work bro, be patient and success is a matter of time! Your content is king, stay safe and create more juicy stuff
I needed to hear that thanks!
Yes ... Your content is amazing . I'm so glad I found you . Subscribed and ready to see more from you in the future !!
S/O to Khan, TS, and you~
Omg what a great analysis. Thank you
I love that Zombie Swift is from her “Out of the Woods” music video
This video is iconic, Taylor is the freaking music industry!
I really loved your reaction to the music video! It's seems genuine, unlike other reaction channels that just make nonsense comments. Please do more of your reactions to Taylor's music videos. She has big budgets for it and puts a lot of effort in it. Stay safe! xx.
I’ll for sure do more! I’m so happy you enjoyed it!
Hey! I know you probably won't see this, but I found your channel today and I'm SO GLAD I watched it. You gave insights to videos I had never noticed before and the vines are great too 😂
Hey Jennifer! Thanks so much for watching! I'm so glad you like the vines :)
Bro, I'm so happy that you made this video. It's like I'm watching someone freaking out just the way i did when this video got released. Way to go man. Subscribed. I'll suggest you some of my favourite videos to react.
You’re so great man thanks so much for watching! :)
I would love to see your reaction to her latest music video, “The Man”, because she directed it - and I’d love to see your reaction to hers, against Kahn’s
That would be such a fun Video!
Sometimes the reflection in your glasses doesn't let us see your eyes and it looks like those badass characters from mangas

I'll check it out!!
PLEASE react to some of Taylor's other music videos like Wildest Dreams, Out of The Woods, Blank Space, ME!, ...Ready For It and Bad Blood
All bops!
@@JordanOrme YESSS🤩
"I might be turned on right now" lmao😂
The fact that Taylor know who to pick to make her music video done.
The best things about taylor musics videos are, there are always Easter eggs and huge meaning behind every scenes of the music video.
Taylor story boards her own videos. Is like she writes the script for the film and then the director shoots based on it.
I love your video but I think people should make some digging into the video process or at least the artist before making a video like this. So annoying how Taylor's vision and works is often overlooked and that credit is given to the man lol. 🙄
she more so gives the main idea, and Joseph Kahn and his team executes it, so most of the details in the video are created by Joseph
He's talking about the direction techniques themselves, not really about the themes and easter eggs of the video.
you're so underrated! and i learned so much that i can apply whenever i shoot my shots too. i love editing and cinematography as well 💕
Wow thanks so much! I’m glad it helps!
the best thing is... taylor writes the treatment for all her music videos! so... basically she's a freaking genius!! ♡
Incredible...
as a music video filmmaker myself, this channel was the greatest discovery i needed for quarantine, love your content
HECK YEAH! Thanks for watching man!
Dude this was awesome! Well done, educational, funny, entertaining! Good shit!
YAS thank you so much :)
when you got thirty seconds in, I was taking a drink and started coughing when you said "that's enough" because honestly I was completely done in the best way after just that scene too
😂😂😂
I think the shot at the beginning with the tilted tombstones would've been more impactful if the camera was tilted with the tombstones as well. With Taylor standing straight up still. Then when she shifts the tombstones back up, the camera follows and tilts back with the tombstone. Then the camera does a small shake at the end as it's being set back in place.
(Recently found your channel and subscribed. Love your videos
That's a great idea omg
@@Anam.Fatima19 thank you, thank you.
Forgot the one final piece in the end where there’s a Taylor in the background on the plane while all of her “fronts” argue
I literally hardly notice how actually great an mv was till i watch someone react to it
I stan the design of your video omygod
The clap in her reflection on the mirror is meant to match with the clap in the audio
Such a great review!!! It’s like watching the music video anew!!! Please react to more of Taylor’s stuff!!! Or the most-viewed ones at least!!! Would love to spread the word 😊
