  • The first day of our trip to Coxs River, Ben Bullen and Lithgow.
    This video we camped up on a ridge above the Coxs River. A bit of camp shenanigans go down before we hit up the sketchy looking Firetruck Hill. There is a good example of the difference between a car with the eLocker off and the rest with eLockers or Disco spec traction control.
    After the climb we head to the main Coxs River crossing which is something you should definitely go and do. We finish up with lunch near the top of Mt Walker.
    Part 2 will include the Mt Walker climb and a very wet camp over in Ben Bullen. Makes for some cool slo-mo puddle splashes the next day which finished up in Lithgow.

      @@OutdoorsCBR It was just me and my mate we didn't know the other group but we went after they did it and the Triton was making those sounds because he said his locker wasn't engaging all the way but he got it to work after about 5 minutes of trying and one of them went the hard way up no lockers it was a really good drive when it come time for me and my mate to go up we just did the same track as you fellas we both went up it alot better then we thought was a great weekend out that's for sure.

    • @OutdoorsCBR
      @OutdoorsCBR  3 года назад +1

      After you get over Firetruck Hill, you follow the powerlines up and over the next hill and then drop down into the valley and head to the right towards the river.

    Hahah, my challenger in the background didn't like the climb, locker failed half way up the hill. Wouldn't engage or disengage.
    Oh and that noise was my engine fan hitting the fan shroud. Driveline was all good 🤣
    But good drive from all you blokes up firetruck. She is a nice climb thats for sure

    • @OutdoorsCBR
      @OutdoorsCBR  4 года назад +1

      Damn thats probably the worst time for the locker to fail ! Well there you go, that noise sounded really bad from where we were standing haha. What did you end up doing? You get up ok?

    • @JP211193
      @JP211193 4 года назад

      @@OutdoorsCBR yeah I thougu front diff shit its self or something or diff actuator wasn't engaging correct.
      Yeah so the challenger had traction control but it wouldn't engage because the factory locker was in partial engagement. So had no locker and no traction control.
      Just ended up rolling back and had to carry a bit of momentum through it. Most annoying part was. After that section just before I got to the top the locker decided to engage its self.
