I took them on a 10 day trip from Licola all the way through the High Country in a TdGq to Tom Groggin campground it was there 1st time camping an off roading. All my Mam wanted for xmas dinner was a nice hotel and dinner 😂😁
Love you guys . Awesome we really like your channel. West virginia family loves your trips.killer show for a family. Thanks for keeping it kid friendly. The Lester's ballard wva.
I had one of those once - passed it without needing an operation. You should be thankful you aren't going to go through that experience - it makes cutting into your leg with a chain saw feel like a mossie bite.
The dmax. She has all the creature comforts as well she has proven to be able to take on the tough stuff with the big boys. Daily driver to weekend warrior all in one. Graham's dmax is where I'm getting all my ideas for myself. That canopy is fantastic.
You guys REALLY need to visit the US (and Canada)! I have traveled all over the Northern UIS, Canada, and Alaska (although it's been over 40 years since I drove from Michigan up to Alaska).
Shauno'z 80 is an absolute weapon. Lessons learned - solid axel with 4.2 has enormous power. But still, respect all the other vehicle made it through the trial. Good job team. looking forward to having more new content!!!
Nice one 404. I'm in South Africa too and do lot of extreme 4wd. Transkai, Brits, Lesotho, KZN, Namibia, Botswana, Uganda, John Rock, I'm all over buddy. Went out even today to Carltonville.
Guys, you all are amazing. I saw one of your youtube vids and I can get enough of your adventures. Your friendships and teamwork is amazing. Keep living.
You guys do the best 4 wheel driving ! gotta say the D Max does well with the big boys !! And looks like Jockos tongue always helps him out 😂😂 great to have a good mechanic like him with you 👌👌
I'd honestly be happy with any of the 4wds on the show. because to what's important to me is getting out there and having a go no matter what you drive!!!
The camera car would be my choice haha. Really enjoyed this ep that’s a good 1. Could you imagine packing the track with old dirty 30 😂 The brand change has been good love what you’re now doing on socials aswell giving people a chance to win big. 👌🏼
I can see why, when pushed for an answer on Instagram, Sam prefers the Sparesbox 80 Series. I remember when old-mate from Roo Systems busted the first ever 200 Series CV on an old 4WD Action DVD from a few years back, and had to limp back to town at 5kph.
I would love the 80 series because its pragmatic, old school and gets you where you want to go ;) Keep up the good work boys, we love this stuff here in New Caledonia ;)
@@einfelder8262 i m not sure i quite get your question... i didnt ask them to visit Pakistan... And Pakistan doesn't only have hills...for them to visit.
Simon Elenor I’m currently on the lookout for a JDM 1HD-T here in the States. Just found a couple triple-locked, very low miles, in Long Beach. Now to decide if I want to shell out $20k
I would love to have the keys to sooty because when I was hunting for my 1st 4wd I had my heart set on a 80 series the same as Shauns. Sadly when I got it checked over by a 4wd mechanic it was full of rust. So I had to buy a hilux instead.
Checked out Lithgow with mates last year, thought we covered most of it. We didn’t get to the pipeline track but it’s on the list and this episode has given me another trip idea and more tracks/places to visit. Awesome entertainment fellas 👍🏼
I really love watching you guys it's good to see you're back out on the trails I also love your other show beers in the shed it's 10:03 in the morning I'm watching your video and having a beer can't wait to see her next video🥇🥇🥇🙏👍👍👍👍👍🤟
Thats not custom at all. Thats a standard design, and if you ask for a custom mod they say no. Its just mass manufacturing of a canopy. Same size and shape to suit various models.
Frothing! He nailed that. You’ve got this. The boy can wheel Does it get any better than this? Give it a red hot go. Have another crack. Into it into it yeah yeah yeah Absolutely live axle is the way to go
The two best 4wds of the world imo in this video, we have a 2017 200 series(35s, lockers) and a GU/y61 patrol(35s, lockers) in the family. If I had to choose, I probably would take the iDrive GU, it is a beast
Wise words Shauno "like in any survival situation, you dont wanna lose power to your fridge and your beers get warm" number 1 survival tip
Sam: how many cvs should we pack next trip?
Jock: yes
i guess the problem is if you fit heavy duty / uprated CV's you'll just break something else less easy to change
hahajtt
All of them 😂
@Sic Semper Tyrannis just drive solid axle like a real man
@@888johnmac I wonder if they had nearly stock tire size if they'd have broken a single one

When we said we wanted to see more of Jock, that wasn't what we meant. :P
What not his jocks haha.
They must have been looking for an excuse, because there's another crossing about 50m to the left that wouldn't have even wet their hubs.

Sooty. Fully locked, the 80 series was the ultimate best knees.
Of course it's a Toyota
I’ve got a twin locked 79 series with a portal diff and a 2 inch lift😂😂
definitely the 80 series, I drove one when I visited Australia a few months ago (I live in the US) and I felt like I could go anywhere I wanted

Sooty because of the flex and how neat and tidy is good work Shauno 👍👍👍👍👍
80s serious no doubt about it, reliable and easy to fix and classic
Shauno's 80 series for sure, it is an absolute beast of a 4wd and it is by far the best looking 4wd in the convoy.... Love from South Africa
