If you see the results! It's worth the 2.5k it cost me for the engine bay and underbody, all I had to do was rust proof underneath and it looks and is like new👌
Props to Matej to do the work for some air time, he looks like a great guy to deal with, the before and after are AMAZING, lets hope Paddy get's the car home safe after all this hard work.
@@jamberoobigsplah924what part of that is realistic? Or do tracks on the other side of the country and get it shipped home again…

Wow! Your 80 came up a million bucks! It’s great that you showcase these small businesses, because I had no idea dry ice blasting was even a thing. I will need to take my 80 there. Have to hire a car for a week, but it would be worth it! Keep up the great work guys.
Mate my 80 is going in, it seriosly needs its bum cleaned, so those oil leaks are the two seals in the transfer case, nust did mine and perfect. I was also given a tip from top Toyota specialist always replace the aloy washer with a genuine new one and torque the bolt in to spec, over tension can crack the case easy.
I love how you guys have grown, now going to the next level in your RUclips channel. From patching and fixing to proper quality restoration. One big ask from me for my perfection brain. Please do the engine bay inside the doors under the bumpers with this dry ice process. Promise??
Looks great after dry ice treatment. Still I was wondering who you would recommend for engineering the welding thats been done. Done the same to mine and need to find an engineer west of Melbourne. Thanks, keep up the great vids.
Loved watching this -- What an amazing way to protect your asset ! ! Well done Guys . I have a feeling that this just may become standard for the 4 x 4 fraternity ??
Im seriously impressed. My 31yo Range Rover Classic is in Melbourne at moment having engine management system overhaul thanks to Stafford at Kitsetperformance and I’m now thinking maybe carbon blasting underneath would be great to do while it’s over there (im based in Adelaide). Thanks so much for sharing this video. 👏
hi guys. have to say i never heard of dry ice blasting.it sure does a good job.very informative video. Now a QUESTION..im in ringwood, just in from Brisbane,i have a 2004 landcruiser with 5 speed box.pretty standard. need transfer case rebuilt. or replaced.recomendations for reliable repairs would be appreciated.
I've started seeing dry ice blasting being advertised but was sceptical on how truly effective it is. But after seeing this, I'm mightily impressed. As you've said, it looks like it just left the factory. Do you have a rough estimate on how much the blasting and the coating cost to do an 80 Series like yours?
I hate to say it, it's definitely expensive. It pretty much has to be, your bill has to cover that blokes labor for multiple days + the dry ice cost + the Aegis (which is $500 according to a quick google) + whatever margin allows them to keep the lights on and pay the rent. It's definitely not cheap because it logistically can't be. However a wise man once said, just because it's expensive doesn't mean it's overpriced.
@@haterhater6409 100% like he said at end of video a lot of peoples dream cars (4.2 patrols, V8 70's series) they dont make anymore. great way to restore an older cars under-chassis to bring it back to new for a couple grand
l've always wondered how effective dry ice blasting was, now I know. It's brilliant. Just curious, dry ice blasting clearly does not damage rubber, metal, paint etc., why was your car covered with plastic?
Call Me OCD Bud ! But WHAT about WHERE the Hoist ARMS had Been on the Chassis components!!!!??? That lifted The Chassis INTO the air , As You can only really do them on a Roll on Roll off Hoist Was There 4 Dirty Circles Left on the Components !?

bahahahahahahaha. This got me good.
Matej is going to be sooooo busy after this video.. he's going to need bigger premises, absolutely
amazing!
Not once they see the quote. From my research, just an engine bay is about $1000.

I think that Matej needs to have his own ASMR RUclips channel.
This is 1000x more entertaining than Mowing and Pressure-washing videos.
Will be advertised on carsales " never been off road only ever driven by Nan on Sundays on the way to church "
Love seeing a 4wd channel that’s more realistic for everyday people!
4wd 24/7
fr every single episode

Thats absolutely amazing. So satisfying. Its now concourse looking underneath.
Matej did one of my customers R35, looks amazing! Expensive process due to materials and time needed. Good work doesn’t come cheap!
Now every single 4bie on market place will have "never been offroad" haha. What an awesome process

This was the best video I have seen on youtube in ages. Awesome transformation and the way Matej comes across inspires confidence
It's not an oil leak. It's a Toyota added feature, called under body rust prevention system. LOL. 👍🐕🤠
Cruiser looks smick.👌Carbon Blast did an unreal job.👍
Great video showing new small businesses out there and showcasing their work ❤
WEll done guys, Carbon blast did a fantastic job!!
That’s amazing! Mind you here in the UK that car would have been seriously rusty, most have already been scrapped.
Unbelievable how good that come up. The rubber hoses and clamps look new... very cool. Alot of new customers on there way
That is mind blowing! So..... "Tell 'em the price, son!"
Fantastic video guys well done! Looking forward to seeing you put IGL Aegis through its paces
Great vid! Never knew this even existed, now I do! 🙏🏻
Wow!!!! Didn’t even know this existed. Well done guys truly unbelievable. Love the underside looking premium👌
Wow! I'm impressed! Hitting Google to see if anyone in Adelaide/SA does this 🙂
I’d love to get this done 👍
Results look unreal!
This looks awesome!! My GQ really needs this same love! I'll definitely be coming here when I can afford it!
Absolutely brilliant result👌
Fat out that is impressive. . . The big chunky stuff is grease thrown off from the unis after servicing (30 + years of it lol). . .
So good to see the how it is done, top points to ya boys no one dose vids like this

WOW so stick , looks bloody awesome
This is really cool after seeing that it doesn’t strip paint and even doesn’t break plastic which is crazy
That was amazing to watch! Champion guy.
Great to see this. I've been trying to find a Melourne based mob who offer this service. Thanks for sharing.
definitely need this done on my next build, look really good
Does the Dry Ice blasting remove any existing bitumen coating?
It is also good at removing bed-liner?
Great time to fix all oil leaks AND once the protective coat is done keep it clean with proper foaming and washing! ✅✅✅
How i wish kenya was neibhoring australia. That is incredible.❤
Will look at doing this eventually
can't argue with those results.

have seen this done on an America youtube channel i watch to do with supercars n hypercars rebuilds. gud to c ice blasting in aussieland.
I have been using the IGL Aegis on my customers cars for a while now. Such an awesome product.
Thanks mate, very informative and interesting 👏👏

Omg this 80 looks brand new again well done guys also them number plates need to be redone with new custom plates but keeping the same green on white
I like that Patrick is finally spending money on making this 80, look the part now. It will really make all the gear standout once there's new paint.
Yep cannot wait for the paint, its ugly how it is
dont think he's spending his money on it. most of that stuff is sponsored
That being said whole point of using lanolin is it's a natural and decomposes in the environment
This is amazing great job
Wow now i want a big shed a hoist and one of those ice blasting machines. Better win tatts lol. Great job Guys.
Looking new again!

I too am curious approx. cost of both blasting and coating.
How does it go with Uni joints, bushes etc? Does look mint, doesn't look cheap!!
Great. I only have one question. How much does this cost?
My 2004 UZJ-100R needs a 20th birthday present - this. Dang.
thats absolute mint, i sense Carbon Blast are going to become really busy
That depends on the cost, it may turn many off if it's expensive.

All I can say is WOW 👌 👏
Looks awesome - would be nice to have some transparency though of an ballpark estimate of how much this would cost....
That’s epic!
Wow far better results than I expected. How much did this cost? I suspect close to the 5k mark but wouldn't be surprised if it is more than that.
Does it remove factory sound deadening, anti corrosion, factory undercover protection?
That’s nuts.. 👌🏼

To stop the dust getting all over the car
Holy shit, how good
Does it lift rust?
I’d love to know the approx price the clean and spray protectant
Thousands. Just a dry ice clean is around $1200-1500.
I'd dare say another 1500 for the coating applied
i had a quote for blasting without coating and it was $2000
From my research, the engine bay is about $1000 just for the clean, so this whole package would be well over $3k.
That is an amazing transformation. What price are we talking for this service?
WoW that's amazing man 💯👍👍🍻 would be expensive but well worth it 👌
Another great video guys, how much would this cost?
Amazing
That isn't a revival.

But for $2K my coily Patrol ute can stay dirty for now? Probably for ever.
With an underbody like that what are the bets you avoid every mud puddle for atleast the next 12 months.
Im getting this done lol, cheers for showing
We use the same thing to clean a $7m machine
A printing press
You didn't mention anything about the cost.. how much to do a 4wd?
Oh man can I stick my 80 in a container and send it there for a blast?😅
I van't believe even the clamps on the hoses look brand new😮
I assume its as safe in the engine bay?
How costly was it to carbon blast the 80?
Wow, that is way too nice for my nav. But seriously smart for long term owners. Great work as always boys, cheers.
What was the cost
Dumb question, but can they do engine bays?
How much for this job please???
Good job. How much does it cost?
When costing is totally avoided i always think it will be to expensive.
