This is one of my favorite builds so far. It truly looks like a home with all the personal additions. The mural is really nice as well as the doily across the back. I like the kitchen real well and the dining room in front. Best to ya'll.
I've seen a lot of van tour videos, but this tiny travel home stands out as really impressive. Not as techy as some, nor as expensive, but really well designed and practical, including the roof deck.. Maybe that's from working their way up because their website has pics of the progress, and as they said, it didn't start out a finished product when they moved in. Maybe that's a good way to discover what you need rather than only predict and presume what you need.
I have yet to commit to a build but I'll probably not be a full timer and will start out very spartan and evaluate which things we really need along the way!
Secret drawers are pretty much an essential - just in case the van gets broken into, a concealed drawer with an unusual opening method is a way to secure your important documents and valuables. The toe-kick drawer or the ‘secret’ drawer could be used for this. Nice design! It’s how I envisage my van, but with a bed-lift instead of a fixed bed.
I can't get rid of the thought that someone is cooking but someone else has to use the bathroom. Although the idea of this pretty little home is amazing.♡
Yes, I agree with another person's comment below. You moved in when your van was empty and now it is Functional and Beautiful at the same time. Less Tech and more artistic. Your van makes sense while the style is true to your creativeness. I Love it! Perfect amount of personal Deco. A comfortable video to watch, your disposition and flow of video is natural while a little shy and Humble. Refreshing to hear and watch ! I am also interested in extended family Portrait of pets. I saw the one you have in your Van Sweet!! I have a Golden Retriever Grandpup It would be awesome to have a Portrait done for My Grandpup's Parents. Aka.. My Son and Future Daughter in-law. This is one of my favorites and I've looked at a lot of van build videos. But I'm too old to climb up on the roof that way. I think I would look into putting some kind of 'ladder' or pipe steps on the inside of one of the back doors. It looks like it would be stable when the door is flat against the side and when the door is closed I could use the steps to hang stuff or dry towels . I'm always wondering about the toilets and you didn't mention much about that, but maybe in another video (?).
Love the "secret" drawer...and seems there are actually 2 of them. As usual, though, not much coverage on the practical details with the toilet. I get that few want to talk about it but it's also an extremely important aspect of life on the road in terms of how much comfort a person may want. I'm presuming that the toilet has to be pulled out of the drawer to use it? Also, would it be possible to design (in that section of the van) a taller, conventional-sized toilet?
On the stove cover....do they have to have the top up to run oven in order to vent properly? I am considering this type of stove/oven mount under countertop like this, but concerned with the oven venting.

Also would like to know where you got your brackets to put your extra cutting board next to sink I bought cutting block also from Home Depot beautiful acacia and it is all cut and ready to go with bracket. they should take out the coffee mugs and turn the cubby into a "Break Glass in Case Of Emergency" door with a wine bottle in it :)
