    I honestly need this. I have long legs but I never actually get to take advantage of my stride because I do the "heel slapper" run, my legs stay behind me majority of the sprint. Learning to keep my legs out in front is what I need.

    Hey Chris do you recommend training max velocity for basketball players? What would be the ratio between training that and acceleration? Thanks

    • @AthleticPreparation
      @AthleticPreparation 5 лет назад

      cwb 154 definitely beneficial 👌 build hamstring strength even though basketball players don’t never really reach max V. 2-3 days of acceleration / agility . 1 day of max V 🤙

    Hey Chris - I never asked before - when at top speed in a sprint, am I supposed to be landing on the balls of my feet or on the heels?

    • @R888ZZZZZ
      @R888ZZZZZ 2 года назад

      Supposed on ball of feet, but harder for me to do that if i go 100% sprint.If i do, i run slower.

  • @brandonb7362

    It takes sprinters about 30 to 50 yards to reach max velocity and I don't think the athlete in the video ever has time to reach max velocity speed since he is changing direction so much. Good information but using that video is not a good example of max velocity.
