I like how people are complaining about the advertisements as if they are a terribly crucial part of their game, yet I'm too busy enjoying myself with the gameplay and missions to notice such a trivial detail.
I personally think Final Fantasy fifteen was a valuable addition to the series. Sure, other games can overtake this one, but I find its map and battle system a large improvement, compared the linear themes of the other games. *cough* ffx *cough cough* Also, I recommend you try out Final Fantasy 7, as some see it as the best installment to the series, and an HD remake is on its way.
As my first FF game, I fell in love with the game. It is one of my top 5 games. Ik people don’t like it, but I just enjoyed it so much. I am going to treasure this game forever. The visuals are soooooooo good. I am so happy I got to play this game. I wish I could replay it and not know the story so I can experience it again. I know people won’t agree with my opinion, but idc. I just wanted to publicly voice my love for this game.
If they made a sponsored mission for any other sponsors, I would not be very happy. But Cup Noodles??? I just want to see how they managed to make a quest about Cup Noodles

The ACTUAL reason Final Fantasy Versus XIII was called that is because it Nomura said it was suppose to go against the FRANCHISE, not FF13. So if anything, it makes more sense to call it XIII Versus: Final Fantasy. Remember, this is Nomura we are talking about. This is the guy who came up with names such as Chain of Memories, Birth By Sleep, Dream Drop Distance, 358/2 Days and 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue. His names are NEVER straightforward.
For #15, besides playing as the other guys in their own DLC, the Ascension tree skill that lets you play as any of them/rotate between them only during combat is fun
XV isn't the first game to have to fuel up your vehicle. In VIII if you rent a car and it runs out of gas, you definitely have the option of refueling.
I LOVE THIS GAME! I'm a long time FF fan and it annoys me how people say this one is bad. I frankly don't like FF8 and feel it gets more praise than it should. And really? These people think it's bad compared to the FF13 run? This game is a love letter to the entire FF series.
I agree, it feels and play better than 8. A few things like the use of magic and items and how to acquire experience feel off tho. Especially compared to VII Remake, but XV is good nonetheless.

I'm finishing the Alolan Pokedex in pokemon moon before it comes out to kill time I'm currently at 72% and after that I've got the battle tree so still plenty of time to kill with it before the game that will probably be the next two months of my life will be in my hands

The best part of the game was it was real time action. Turn based is slow boring and slow and takes you from the action. I honestly wouldn't have bought it if it was turned based or like FF12/14.
Well I wouldn't say the turn-based would be bad. I mean I would prefer turn-based and more party members, but FF7 had turn-based and that is often titled best game ever created.
FF7 is amazing for it's time but the battle system is outdated, I think. Even though jrpgs were my favorite during ps1,ps2 era. It's just too slow. Now, I think the best battle system would be closest to turn based - FFXIII with few things fixed. remove the moving camera, maybe chain gauge, waiting times between paradigms...
I enjoy your opinion on the matter, but I believe that playing FFXV in full "action" combat setting instead of "wait" setting, you are largely reducing your effectiveness in combat. Also, as an avid player of this game, the "wait" setting never takes me out of the combat. I use the wait mode to scan and learn about the enemies (a lot of cool things you'll find, I reckon) and to reevaluate how the battle can go. At no point do I feel bored and turned off. In fact, every time I use wait mode it adds to the suspense of not knowing that your plan of attack may or may not fail.

Noct is awesome, but to play as the others is going to be so much fun! As for 26. I love the fresh change of pace. I enjoy a good turn-based game, but having it play like Kingdom Hearts was a welcome relief, especially with the combos your allies can do with you. 82. Well, they succeeded there. I'm a girl and I had no problem falling in love with these guys. Their chemistry blends together perfectly and they make a well-rounded team.

Am I the only one who's reminded of "Scar Tissue" by Red Hot Chili Peppers when thinking of FFXV? I mean, the characters resemble how the band is dressed in the music video, and you often drive through a desert in a black car, like in the video.
oh boy it is indeed a great game, but its major flaw is the convoluted way they told the story. When it was completed you had to read a novel, watch a movie and a microseries, play demos, buy dlcs and play the free game "a kings tale" All that to wrap up the full story since some parts of the game seem way too vague if you dont get all the info from those sources. As for the main game itself, the partnership between the 4 characters, the gameplay and its mechanics, along with and amazing soundtrack make an overall fun and exciting experience.
I realized all of these reviews I was searching only one thing FF fans like ... 1. Turn base 2. Story they don't mind graphics .. but that pretty much sums up.. if the developers would just focus in these 2.. they would be rich.. .. only some handful of us new to the franchise liked the game since.. "OPEN world" with ur Buddies..... " is kinda cool... and someone like me who can just turn off the "I focus on story " thing .... sometimes when I think the story was just a luckluster .. FFX has a sequel in FFX-2, and FFXIII has two sequels in FFXIII-2 and Lightning Returns. Everything else is pretty much entirely unconnected (minor puns/references and such, no story bearing). I think there might be one or two other side games that have sequels, but if you're looking at a main numbered entry you can be sure it's not connected to anything else.
Prompto can summon his weapons from thin air and he does not have the family bloodline that Noctis has. But hey, he doesn't get to summon his weapons in his DLC.
they were but once Nomura was moved off the project it was one of the first things Tabata changed it is alot more complex than KH now where it's hold down 1 button to atack constantly but your movement and changing of wepions with the D-Pad changes the combo along with magic basically being grenades you make yourself with materials you find all over the place. This game may have started out similar to Kingdom Hearts and you can see the relation but XV has evolved into something else now that I think may be a much bigger challenge then KH 1 or 2 and that's including their stupidly hard super bosses
QuestOCD ill be going with JP voices and English subs. there aren't many if any us voice actors, save for a couple A listers who can pull off the emotions through dialog and really have you connect with the characters.

Just picked this up on game pass for the first time and on Chap 12 at the moment. Can't believe i've only just played it, such an amazing game!

Am I the only one who's reminded of "Scar Tissue" by Red Hot Chili Peppers when thinking of FFXV? I mean, the characters resemble how the band is dressed in the music video, and you often drive through a desert in a black car, like in the video.

oh boy it is indeed a great game, but its major flaw is the convoluted way they told the story.
When it was completed you had to read a novel, watch a movie and a microseries, play demos, buy dlcs and play the free game "a kings tale"
All that to wrap up the full story since some parts of the game seem way too vague if you dont get all the info from those sources.
As for the main game itself, the partnership between the 4 characters, the gameplay and its mechanics, along with and amazing soundtrack make an overall fun and exciting experience.

I realized all of these reviews I was searching only one thing FF fans like ...
1. Turn base

they don't mind graphics .. but that pretty much sums up.. if the developers would just focus in these 2.. they would be rich.. ..
only some handful of us new to the franchise liked the game since.. "OPEN world" with ur Buddies..... " is kinda cool... and someone like me who can just turn off the "I focus on story " thing .... sometimes when I think the story was just a luckluster .. I just.. play it anyways... enjoy other stuff like the fishing in this game is legit lit

no.
FFX has a sequel in FFX-2, and FFXIII has two sequels in FFXIII-2 and Lightning Returns. Everything else is pretty much entirely unconnected (minor puns/references and such, no story bearing). I think there might be one or two other side games that have sequels, but if you're looking at a main numbered entry you can be sure it's not connected to anything else.

Yep. I wouldn't be surprised to see XV make an in-joke about VII, but that's it.
lil pumo here and there, there are minor connections. the two that transcend all of them are Gilgamesh and his partner Endiku, and Ultros the octopus
My favorite fact is that noctis hates vegetables and even Ignis can't get him to eat them.
Prompto can summon his weapons from thin air and he does not have the family bloodline that Noctis has. But hey, he doesn't get to summon his weapons in his DLC.
You forgot to mention the game mechanics is based in Kingdom hearts 1 & 2 and please do Kingdom hearts next

they were but once Nomura was moved off the project it was one of the first things Tabata changed it is alot more complex than KH now where it's hold down 1 button to atack constantly but your movement and changing of wepions with the D-Pad changes the combo along with magic basically being grenades you make yourself with materials you find all over the place. This game may have started out similar to Kingdom Hearts and you can see the relation but XV has evolved into something else now that I think may be a much bigger challenge then KH 1 or 2 and that's including their stupidly hard super bosses
No, it's based on Tabata's style (Crisis Core and Type-0) not a KH game.

only in the JP dub you've still got the choice of English, German, or French in terms of Voice Acting
QuestOCD ill be going with JP voices and English subs. there aren't many if any us voice actors, save for a couple A listers who can pull off the emotions through dialog and really have you connect with the characters.

With FFXV being so huge, I don't see how anybody can think that FFVII Remake can't fit on a single double layered Blu-Ray disc
Well, FFXV is 1~2 average sized continents. FFVII? Well that was one entire planet. Yeah. Do the math.
TokyoAkiHara@Deep I agree, Eos is pretty big but the game only covers Lucis continent and Altissia's group of islands. FF7's world though is almost 90% explorable and that is hard to do
would be great if you could make a spoiler free version of this video. Usually I wouldn't care, but considering it's Final Fantasy, where the story is the main focus, having a spoiler free version would be great.
