Gee it was good to listen to an interview like that, an interviewer who didn’t answer his own questions and let the interviewed speak his mind. Frost is a very good and articulate speaker, has a clear vision for the country, a conviction politician not many of them around these days. All round impressive interview 8 out of 10. I think he could make a very good politician by the way, maybe even a PM, getting close to the time to thank Boris for getting Brexit done, he alone could get it done to never take that away from him. But getting time to get someone in there as PM with a vision of implementing a post Brexit strategy for Britain.

OK.... and HIlary Benn was using our own parliamentary system to achieve this. The partliamentary system you wanted to have full control when you voted for us to leave the EU. So you got what you want and have nothing to complain about.

@@kym1160 Nope. If you know something is a bad idea, you try to stop it. If the majority voted for everyone to shoot themselves in the face, would you just do it, or would you continue to argue it is not a good idea and try to stop everyone else doing it?

Will someone please let me register a VOTE for this man! What levers must be pulled to get him into Parliament? What impresses (after these last few years of prima donna incompetents) is the calm, solid, patriotic foresight. He has a sense of fun and some great old-fashioned principles: excellence in education, boost for skills training, best use of energy resources... Tories can win again with Frost as leader, not otherwise. And he’s not aligned to the WEF!

I broadly agree that he needs to be in a position where he can promote the policies he appears to favour. The stand out characteristic from this interview, for me, is that he seems to genuinely seek to answer the actual question he's posed and do so honestly. But his manner, leadership qualities? He comes across as a clever, capable politician but not as someone you'd necessarily take heed of if he gave an important address to the public. Tricky one this as he's probably better than any other option. I'm slowly coming round to accepting that Boris needs to stay, for now.

Lord Frost did a great job. It is just a pity he is no longer in that position. He needs to be back in Government. The protocol needs to go, totally. Macron is going to play dirty. The GFA never made any mention of trade, the only time the border was mentioned was in regards security.

Yes, that was a refreshing bit of truth -telling! He knows what’s gone wrong and has never had the power to put things right under Johnson who works for the WEF and his own elite clique rather than his country. Given his head, Frost could cleanse the mire from Westminster. But would anyone want the ghastly job!

I really admire Lord Frost's vision for the Country. What he advocates is common sense to anyone that believes in the free market economy and small State.
It's not out there or crazy, it's clear and straightforward.
He'd definitely get my vote. 👍🏼🇬🇧

In the seventies that once in a lifetime eleven plus exam was NOT the final arbiter of where you could end up. I remember well being in the A form of the girls' grammar school at the beginning of the second year and being introduced to two new form members. They had both spent a year in a secondary modern school, were identified as late developers and were shifted to the grammar school at the end of the year. When we reached the sixth form, another bunch of pupils joined us from schools with no sixth form. It was a brilliant system which allowed pupils from less affluent families like mine to achieve their full potential. I feel very sad that a generation of children has since been homogenised into mediocrity..
