The more I see of Nigel Farage, the more I recognise the good he is doing the citizens of this country, at huge personal sacrifice. A brave man, and thank God we have him.
I was born in a country, that was getting out of communism. I heard terrifying stories of those times. I had a family member who was a victim of these times and sadly never recovered. Could never be there fully for the children, starter drinking, luckily not heavily, but was not himself anymore, he closed down - later in his life he died of a heart attack prematurely.
What Nigel describes is nothing short of such scenario, where you are being persecuted for your beliefs and under made up allegations. Persecution for beliefs, that do not align with the 'party' beliefs. This is happenning to people in this country and all around the world right now. These were really dark times for our country.

A far better option would be a Parliament made up of only independents with no allegiances to any party because the party system is corrupt. At 71 years of age this is never going to be much of my future but God help todays children, the mobile phones they idolise are tomorrows open air prisons and the day they realise that will be a day too late.
This is unbelievable. To think that a bank - or any other institution that you depend on for your livelihood for that matter - can behave like this is disgusting and very sinister. It needs to be fought and hard, or the state will control you and what you're allowed to say. I'm glad Nigel has been able to find alternative arrangements. And I hope this story doesn't go away until the bank's disgraceful actions here are made illegal with massive compensation payable to victims.

I’m brazillian and we are living here in a very similar dystopic situation. Our Supreme Court is using the not the law, but a totaly distorted interpretation of our Constutution to pursue people from the Conservative side of society. We are - all of us - in a mix of 1984 and Brave New World. Please, mr. Nigel, don’t give up. We need people like you - David against Goliath. You are a great inspiration for all of us.
