Excellent video. I have the Wurkkos FC12 in purple. The finish is very good indeed regardless of price. Also I really do like the beam shape with its spill. All in all, I think that it is definitely worth the hype and the money. Keep up the good work.
They're relatively popular in other countries. They're just less known in America as they're imported but they're just as good quality as any other well known brand. I wouldn't share it on the channel if it wasn't acceptable for regular EDC use.
For now I'm just doing runtime testing. Lumen tests are great and I'm thinking of adding them to the channel but right now it's pointless because only 10% of the people that watch my channel subscribe and my view count is a joke. Why would I work harder. The lumen test is something I want to bringing to the channel but I might not due to the view counts. Doing the videos as is cost me a ton of time and money. Unfortunately they way things are going each video has been putting me in the red by about $300-$500 per video and on top of it that not including me paying for the product. I pay for 90% of the gear on the channel and I always pay for olight products because I'm the only non shill channel that reviews olight at this level. It's rough man 😎👍😔
@@PreparedGuy Just a suggestion you can use a phone + lux meter app which is widely available for iOS and Android although the results will not be as accurate as lab-grade equipment at least you can find out which flashlight is brighter by using the ceiling bounce method, then by shining the lux meter directly from a few meters away You can find out which flashlight has higher intensity (candela) and better throw.
Great, thorough review. Wurkkos did an excellent job with the spacing on the stepped UI. Adding the ramping UI makes it that much better (Andúril fanboy here). Eagerly awaiting mine.
Good vid . So the tail switch is just an on/off switch , what a shame . For me the tail switch is the panic switch which has to take me right away into boost or strobe mode or both and that is a must .
The Version got Updated, in Mine i can enter a tactical Mode instead of a ramped Mode, means if i hit the tail it starts in turbo or double tap it for strobe
For edc I would get the wurkkos because it is a much more pocketable flashlight the sp33 is fat and heavy. It's a great like but not for edc. More for keeping in the car glove box.
Wow. The specs are saying 345m/1100ft in Turbo Mode but it seems in reality it works only about 45-60m/150-200ft. Thats about 1/7 or 13-17% of the specs... 😳 Absolutely enough for my use to be happy with it. Its only just wtf... 😂 Thanks for your review btw.!
Yes, but the New Version is a bit different but better, it has got a tactical Mode, so one click starts the turbo, tap and clock starts Instant strobe, but there is still the regular stepped Mode with all the functions
I don't like a flashlight when there's a very prominent circle in the middle of the beam. Although my Surefire has it but it's specifically made for firearms & has only 1 mode which is good when u r under stress u can't fumble. The Surefire rear switch doesn't make any sound which is a trademark for a real tactical flashlight 😁
Good video, thank you! Can you access any other mode directly from moonlight, i.e. what happens if you click/hold the side switch in moonlight in stepped/ramping mode? I guess what I'm really after is, can you bypass memory by going to moon and then stepping back up into the main modes. Thanks!
You can access moonlight and then ramp up from there or step up from there. Also from moonlight you can double to access turbo directly from any mode. Same goes for the strobes. It's very smooth to operate. Very user friendly.
Amazon has vl02 which is a rebranded wurkkos fc12 for $17 after instant clicked 50% coupon. I don't think it's the best light in 2024 as they're many other sft40 lights but it's definitely the best $17 flashlight you can get right now. I picked a couple up to replace crappy zooms my wife picked up.
I just bought "this" flashlight and it's not the same as the flashlight in this video. it only has settings for 1, 80, 300, 800, and 2000 (no 10). There is also no ramping mode.
If I recall correctly this light has a couple different users modes. Maybe check the instructions and see if it has information on switching between user modes. It's been a long time since I've reviewed this light. I usually aim for the latest model of flashlights. This is considered a very old model.
A customizable flashlight operating system. It's ridiculous to me as it's configured through a million clicks but people like being able to customize settings

Love the time and energy and money you put into these. Keep it up. Subscribed
Thank you for the recognition and appreciation 🙏 😎👍😁
Great look Guy, love that it has tail switch. Just got the Purple FC11 from Wurkkos GAW
Easily my favorite flashlight videos! thanks!
Great review. I ordered directly from Wurkkos instead of Amazon and saved 10 dollars.
How much you paid ? It’s 35 Amazon but free shipping
FC12 or SC31T? I got the Sofirn already but liking this review. Thanks
I think sc31t beam is more practical but fc12 is more fun, i use sc31t for work, but when i'm outside i bring my fc12 to play around with
I like the cheaper td02 better. Having to reach for another button to access turbo and 2 taps for strobe can mean a lot in a danger situation.
There is a tactical mode where it starts at turbo with the main button and for strobe it’s a 1/2 then 1 click which is much better
Are these lights, such as this and Sofirn, more popular in other countries as opposed to Fenix, Thrunite, and Olight, just to name a few?
They're relatively popular in other countries. They're just less known in America as they're imported but they're just as good quality as any other well known brand. I wouldn't share it on the channel if it wasn't acceptable for regular EDC use.
Super video und Bewertung. Kein langes bla bla, sondern sofort zum Thema. So sollte es sein. Danke.😀
Thank you, great review!
Do you do runtime/lumen testing, or are you just trusting what the marketing dept writes?

short 18350 tube from Sofirn sp40/sc31 compatible with him?
Great, thorough review.

Pretty sure most people use the tail light casually and don't want it to be permanently for turbo or strobe mode...
The Version got Updated, in Mine i can enter a tactical Mode instead of a ramped Mode, means if i hit the tail it starts in turbo or double tap it for strobe
jus got mine
good for EDC in your pocket or heavy? also good for self defence?
Very Nice review.
Nice video 👍🏻
How is the runtime at the high-mode ?
Can the lamp keep the high mode permanently without turning it down?
No. Most lights step down. I took time to create a time-lapse to answer this exact question preemptively.
Great content !
Do you prefer floody or thrower type flashlight for EDC purpose?
I stuck choose from sofirn SP33 v3.0 and this one.. help
For edc I would get the wurkkos because it is a much more pocketable flashlight the sp33 is fat and heavy. It's a great like but not for edc. More for keeping in the car glove box.

I have buy it with Nicha Leds 5000k . Is this bad? Is the sst 20 LEd better? 🙄
May i know if it has a momentary mode? For morsecode or something signal like sofin c8g or c8f momentary on
Is the tail switch forward clicky?, does it turn on with a half press so that we can use it for morse signalling?
Yes, but the New Version is a bit different but better, it has got a tactical Mode, so one click starts the turbo, tap and clock starts Instant strobe, but there is still the regular stepped Mode with all the functions
I ordered grey version
is the momentary on set on High then the full press would take you to last mode (memory)?
You can set it to whatever you want for momentary on.
@@PreparedGuy awesome, thanks!

This is a $32 pocket EDC not a firearms tactical flashlight. If your surefire has the same quality beam pattern then there is a problem. 🤣👍

Such a shame it's not running anduril 2
