Thanks for this information. Getting sorta tired of all the olight reviews
Nitecore is also pretty strong if you’re looking for an alternative. They use usb c
It's like an avalanche right before sales lol
What reviews? Nobody is doing olight reviews. What we all watch are presentations and previews.
Very cool. I have the Thrunite Archer Mini and it's been my EDC for more than a year now. I love it. I'll check these ones out.
Love thrunite due to utilizing the universal type C for charging. I absolutely despise other flashlight companies that use proprietary chargers. I really like streamlight, o light, and some other brands, but I just can't get behind having 20 different chargers for all my lights/devices, etc. Awesome video. Thank you!
X, FL is😮π😊 a monster truck and the key bv and $1EJ
Olight has some really great lights with awesome output stability but so has sofirn and acebeam and armytek...
To be honest, in my humble opinion magnetic charging is pretty great and really versatile/ practical solution, especially for lights kept in a vehicle.
Bay charges and few spare batteries are also what I really like.
The only problem? We, as a users, have to decide which brand we want because, as you wrote, 20 different cables are not making anything easier or experience better.
I would say that olight warrior 3 or x in the car would be great to have.
The only thing that only a few people talk about is simple fact that for blackouts a good flashlight and lantern with spare 18650 and 21700 / 26650 batteries for days are much better solution than 20 or 30 different 🔦🔦 which in time of emergency may not be charged and ready to go.
Another very important piece of equipment is the headlamp because in SHTF situations we so often need two free hands to work.
Love Thrunite. TT20 my fav
My edc flashlight is the BSSW1, although it doesn't use a type C charging cable. I hardly have to charge it, it's clipped to my pocket and barely notice it's there. It's got all the features I need and is bright enough for what I need it for. Cheers Domenic 🇨🇦
I’m a huge fan of the thurnite Archer 2A V3 500
My favorite was the Archer 1A V3. Unfortunately Thrunite discontinued it.
Absolutely love the TN12Pro. I use it every day for work. Mine looks like it went to war and back, and still works. It’s very close in my opinion to being perfect.
1. Button needs to be recessed. I always keep the memorized mode in low because it constantly turns on in the pocket. Low mode doesn’t get too hot and doesn’t kill the battery so no big deal, still annoying though.
2. The USB flap isn’t too good. Constant comes out and it’s pretty annoying to reinserted. Seemed to be a bit bigger than the hole.
I cut the tab off mine so it wouldn't catch as often.
I agree with you on this light! Great light but turns on in pocket too easily.....even on lock out. Must use double lock out feature. Because of this I now only carry tailcap switch lights.
This is the design flaw in all the Thrunite side-switched lights and why I consider them general purpose and not tactical lights.
I've been out of the flashlight market for 3 or 4 years, basically have enough of what I need, but damn now I think I need that Catapult 😂
Firstly good for you.
Secondly, yeah... the catapult pro is really awesome a bit cheaper but also bit weaker alternative is catapult v6.
Welcome back 😅😅
@@wesolowskimatt lol 😁
Here in Europe the tn12 pro has been sold out and the only shop that sells it is 50€ and 15€ for shipping.
The only similar light i found is wurrkos fc12 at 25€. Wondering what to choose...
Wurkkos make quality lights, the only not the best thing about fc 12 is pretty quick stepped down but thrunite has similar problem, to be honest. Just make sure you buy version with new UI.
@@wesolowskimatt- tn12 pro has un updated version? Or were you referring to fc12?
For short term use, I’ve got a keychain flashlight on me at all times. For long term use, I always opt for a headlamp to free up my hands.
I’m wondering, when might I want a standard-size handheld flashlight? I know there are some very powerful ones on the market, but other than that, I’m having trouble seeing when I would want to use a normal-size flashlight, which seems to be the vast majority of what’s on the market.
You make a fair point...most is tied to being "defensive" on nature. What do you think of a light like arcfeld?
@@maxlvledc Looks like a really nice light with a cool feature set and still quite compact. If I was feeling unsafe, I think I’d rather use that hand for pepper spray or a knife, and let the light be on my head.
I have the Catapult pro. The special Protected 26650 battery only lasted about a dozen times. Now I can't find a battery anywhere even including Thrunite. Do you know what and where I can get one? I really liked the flashlight but losing my enthusiasm for it now. Thank you
Ledlenser 26650 is as good as the thrunite 26650. If not better. There are a number of cheaper alternatives with no where near the power advertised.
Why not the T1sv2 over the T1s?
Does the TN12 pro get too hot to handle on turbo?
is there a new one? ill check it out.
@@maxlvledc Assuming you’re referring to the T1sv2 I gather it’s the latest gen of the T1s.
Do does the TN12 get discouragingly hot on turbo or even on high?
💯💯💯
❤
I am happy owner of Thrunite T1
Please suggest pocket sized magnetic tailcap flashlight from other brands
Try sofirn TS21
@@maxlvledc Thanks for replying but do you mean Wurkkos TS21 because I searched a lot but there is no flashlight named TS21 by Sofirn
@@maxlvledc Which would u suggest between Manker MC13 II and Thrunite T1S V2 ?
I am looking for pocket sized rechargeable thrower with magnetic tailcap.
Alonefire x30
How can you not mention the overly senstive side switch on the TN12 Pro? I have one, and it's so stupidly sensitive that it's always turning on in my pocket by accident.
Really? Definitely found it better than that tt20 for instance..but I agree, it could be Better. I think because I mostly use it in a holster, it doesn't have the problem very often.
@@maxlvledc I'm thinking of putting small jewel stickers around the button to protect it from accidental bumps.
@@notdisclosed- what about putting a silicon ring (one they use for drop protection) just above or below the button. That would make the silicon stick out further than the button creating less contact with the button.
top 5? you missed t2
I stand by my list, T2 is not as good as the others.
skip the TT20. It's a poor replacement for the excellent but designed flawed TT10 (a moment of silence, please).
See below my comment, model i bought where TN12
Total garbage, i bought 4 2 years ago and 3 don't work anymore. Barely used them, changed battery etc and nothing. total garbage.
