@@cheuleI am a healthcare worker. I frequently need a penlight to see whether sorethroat of a patient is healing or not ? Will this flashlight be useful for it ? Please suggest better penlight
I bet that new optic is more like the one in the Saber - which I like much more than the reflector in the original Archer Pro. It punches out to a much larger degree, which is pretty much always gonna tickle my fancy. I've really been liking 14500 lights lately and these Thrunite's have been relatively sold options and easy recommendations for the non-nerds in my life. The fact that a AA-sized light can illuminate stuff fairly well out to the length of a football field days a LOT about the current state of flashlight technology. Good stuff as always, -Cheule-!
I have this light...I should have sent it back and just didn't get around to it...BUT, I hate that crunchy button...it would keep me from ever buying another one. If that button is not pushed perfectly straight...it has a very crunchy feel.
Hey man just wanna ask an off-topic question. Have you ever tested an i3T that is running on a 10440 in your lumen tube? Just curious how much lumen it produces and does it steps down or not. If you already have a video of it, I would very much appreciate it if you could give me a link. I suddenly remembered the i3T while watching your Archer Pro v2 video. TIA.
I love the light, only thing i don’t like is the internal battery. Really wish they would make a version with a removable battery, that would be pretty sweet. Update lockout is completely useless on this flashlight come close to catching my pants on fire today and that was just from riding a mower. I’m guessing my leg must have pressed it some how till it came out of lockout then ramped up to high, i know I could feel my leg burning looked down it was flashing in my pocket.
On Sofirn Wurkkos you get back either to off from turbo WHEN off but when its on you return to the last mode which is logical since the light wasn't OFF primarely got it ? And also it can bring you a good among of light if you just need it temporarily.
Hi nice video. could you compare the thrunite pro v2 against the thrunite saber? both run same battery and size and TIR lens. im curious to see the diff
Have this light and it frustrates me. I like it on paper but the bitton is always getting depressed and its always dead. Not a fan of the controls and the lock unlock controls. Its slow to use and makes due for replacing.
The new clip is much thinner and sucks. I don't get why they made that change. Ohter than that, it was a great upgrade. Of course the old clip was also pretty bad.
UPGRAYEDD. The extra D is for a Double Dose of Pimpin’!
Yesssss, you are the first to get it!
Oh I remember, this was from that documentary film, Idiocracy!

Sooooo wish the V2 battery could be changed if necessary. Great vid!

Thanks for the thoughtful comment!
The AP v2 & Saber are both great edc lights. Really gives the Olight i5r some stiff competition. 😎👍

Still prefer the Thrunite Saber with replaceable battery.
Agreed... but this is probably better for the non-enthusiast crowd. Everything is onboard and simple.

Since i have both reviews up, I’ll make a beamshot comparison as soon as I can.
appreciate it! @@cheule
3:02 what video or link are you speaking of? I assume you can only access it on a desktop rather than mobile.
GREAT INFO" newsub in Idaho!
Thanks and welcome!
Really not bad at all for 16 bucks
is the size similar to the olight i5r eos?
It totally is.
uses a proprietary 14500 battery
The v1 looks yellow or a green Ring..Archer pro v 2 seem cooler white with less of a color rendering emitter..or black there of?
Yes, that’s the SST vs SFT difference.

This or the thrunite saber? Replacing my 10 year old microstream.
They are practically clones of each other. I would go with the better price.
@@cheule thanks for the feedback!

If the light wasn’t under $25 I might be more critical of the clip.
Any way you can tell to swap the emitter to a warmer temp?
This light is very hard to open up. Either CA or loctite used.
Both are nice for the price.. But the version 2 is better.
Battery?
An internal battery similar to 14500. I stated this in the video.
