Oh, that's a HUGE deal for me. Bad enough getting a light that uses a proprietary battery. But one that you also can't remove or replace if needed?? Imagine getting caught in an emergency at night and this is your only light. Now imagine the battery is already partially drained.
You need your light to function for an extended amount of time, but it goes out on you. At least with the Acebeam, you have the option of carrying a spare battery with you, and simply inserting that one into the light. What are you supposed to do with the Thrunite? Politely ask the emergency to stop for half an hour so you can recharge your light? I'm actually a huge fan of both brands. But in this case, no contest! Plus, yes; I'm the type who always orders one or two spare batteries each time I buy a powerful rechargeable flashlight.

Both are fantastic small torches! I like the thrunite better but having onboard charging with no way to remove the battery mesns you have to wait for it to charge back up as with the acebean you can carry a spare cell or 2 and you will still have a way to keep your light going.... Anyhow thanks for keepin it real bro✌

Absolutely love my pokelite. I’ve got a collection of roughly 15 “high end” torches and always find myself grabbing the pokelite, just love the size, performance and high cri. Great review mate keep it up 👍

Me too man. I have found myself using the Pokelit Copper because it always starts in Low. Love that. And thanks for the compliment. I will try to continue to bring decent content

I got the first generation pokelit the dark green one, and the thrunite saber, the saber comes with a 14500, where as my pokelit only came with a dead NiCd
The pokelit as a very nice light, the Thrunite saber has an ugly green beam, but the Thrunite has way more throw and a smaller hotspot

Have both of them. Great torches! I prefer Thrunite more because of the button, it is very smooth click action and touch.

Great review appreciate your time and information! I am also looking at the Fenix PD25R and Nitecore TIP2 for EDC. Would love to hear or see your opinions on those as well. I saw some of your Fenix 35 vids tho!

TS10 gets ridiculously hot in a few seconds in high mode! Forget about the turbo 1400lm 😂.

Watching you since a few weeks and went through so many vids already 😅 ... searching for a very good allpurpose flashlight with a high lumen output for defense ... wurkkos t22 MB or sofirn pd36r or so ... dont really know if sth like the fc11 is enough when it Comes to defense .... wann to pair it with a aa edc light so i can make up weaknesses from obe or the Other ... or there is sth that can Pack both ... small and powerful ... like the sofirn sc32 mb...

I have found that you just gotta buy and try bro. It is so hard to recommend stuff because it may not fit in your hand and feel the way i like it. But i love Weltool. I think they are almost perfect

I have the sp10 pro coming, I believe it's 1000 lumens too with a 14500, and it runs Anduril 2, and can take alkalines in an emergency, I can't wait for it to arrive, I also have a Emisar d4k coming with the nichia 519a, it will be my first light with the 519a

How can a "review" of a flashlight not mention what LED it's using? At least for me, the LED is a quite important part of a flashlight. But of course, your milage might vary 😄

    • @flashlightcrazy
      @flashlightcrazy  11 месяцев назад +1

My reviews sometimes include what emitter is included. However, if the company does not state what emitter is used in their user manual, then I feel it is not my job to hunt down that information. My reviews are strictly on what i experience in real time with each light. So I will show the viewers exactly what they are going to experience if they buy these lights.
If the company states it in the manual or on the box, then I will also state it because that is what a consumer will get to see.
But I am certainly not doing the companies job for them by researching what LED emitter is used. To me that is the flashlight companies job.
My job is to show you what the light looks, feels, and operates like. My job is to bring you a REAL LIFE and REAL TIME experience of what I experience when opening and using a light. If I do not see or cannot find the information regarding the Emitter, then the company misses out on that information being passed on to the viewers.
It is my hope that companies begin to state clearly what Emitter is used in their lights.

@@KenNet1337 I may have missed that on this one. But not all flashlight companies state their Emitters. If i missed this one then that is my mistake.
      Thanks for pointing that out
