The 21700 is gonna last a lot longer then the one in the mini
looks great good upgrade on the mini with the sideswitch ordered mine today great review 💯
How is this review not at 10k views?? Yt is stupid af
I know, right. Maybe someone should share it on the olight Facebook page 😊 😉
Like the light and form factor but without the sheath having a USB C charging option, I’ll pass. Using the magnetic cord at home is fine but for travel/ EDC, having a more common charging option is better.
Great review! However, I have reservations about the repetitive warrior-like designs in Olight's lineup. Practically speaking, the real-world performance of these flashlights, including the older M2R Pro, seems to align closely with the new Javelot. Olight appears to be saturating their own market with very similar products, which may lead to cannibalization within their range. Perhaps this is a deliberate strategy, targeting not the average consumer but rather collectors and enthusiasts. While a new color variant of the Warrior might only attract the most devoted fans, introducing a new model, even with minor differences, could excite collectors. In reality, for most practical purposes, the M2R Pro could be just as effective as the Javelot.
Someone just did a video today with a complaint the light falls out the holder when shaken upside down and it literally falls out. Anyone notice this or that guy get a odd one?
Confimed, this will fall out of the holder if turned upside down and shake, when the button is visable in the clip. If you equip the pocket clip and turn the button in and place in holder as seen here at 3:01 it has to be forced in as the button is pressing on the holder as it goes in. Also, the magnet is not strong enough to hold the light sideways.
Javelot Mini looks like it punches above its weight.
Those Olights all look impressive but i just got me the Nitecore EDC35 that has this 9-core UHi 40 max LED, that they are bragging themselves over. I got that size now, that has both stream-light( they call a feature lumin shield) and the search/spot mode. I have been dragging to buy the Olight Marauder Mini, that has that and some colors. That light is next for me, waiting in the cart! Thanks for the video.
Good upgrades
Maxlvledc recommended the light and also your channel. Nice review, I ordered one, and subbed
Thank you both for your support I greatly appreciate it. 👍😎👍
Just purchased today from olight. $79. Not a bad price!
I like this olight seems much better that the pro tac for a WML
As much as I love my mid sized throwers, and want something like this because of the primarily dedicated throw…. Those modes just kill this as an option for me.
I got one 🎉
The beam tint looks insanely green at low levels. Is that what it really looks like?
They need a combo unit like nitecore .. just did .. flood and throw ..
nothing beats the SOFIRIN SC33 for brightness & size
Can the sheath be clipped into the seeker 4 pro sheath mount? I’m looking to replace my truck light and I already have the mount in my center console
It fits but it won't clip in place because the javlot is slightly smaller than the Seeker. If you place it horizontally into the sheath it will stay in place but sideways might slide out.
I saw here 12:17 "They want you DO sign up for the sales " ?
Mine has a pretty yellow beam, seems to be under 5000K. Is everyone else's like this?
Nice review as always. It seems that Olight’s been pretty absent this year. You in the know of what’s going on at the company?
Olight has been implementing some strategic updates with the intention of optimizing their sales process and creating a more seamless experience. However, it appears there may be an oversight in recognizing that consumers are reluctant to invest in premium flashlights at prices that significantly exceed industry standards. While the company has certainly grown and evolved, which is commendable, it's essential to remember that the value-driven sales events were a cornerstone of their success. Indeed, Olight offers an impressive range of high-quality products, yet it seems their pricing strategy outside of promotional periods may not align with customer expectations. It's important for Olight to consider the delicate balance between price and value to continue thriving in the market.
How the beam compare to the marauder mini in beam mode ?
It's much better than the mini.
Can you tell me if its 1 inch in diameter?
(L)138*(D)40mm
(L)5.43*(D)1.57in
Is it again a proprietary battery? Anyway it is a no-no if a flashlight comes without USB-C build in. I think it is a joke to include a USB-A cabel.
My takeaway: the Mini is more impressive
The side switch is its downfall.
👍😊
Same old from Olight. Warrior 3s is too similar.
Nice light but there sale was kind of dookie... JW was this paid for or ?
