Wow! It came out looking sweet! I actually owned that same model civic in 95. I had mine looking almost the same way! It was the rage back in the day! Import wars!👌😎👍

Awesome job, when mounting and aligning magnets, could you have left them atatched to eachother, put the hot glue on the magnet, then place the body on until glue dried?

  • @KearSki

Perhaps you could make some custom Styrene sideskirts to hide the chassis with the civic body?

I love the adjustable offset feature on those Tetsujin wheels, have a few sets myself, but they are only good for drifting as you mentioned, or a shelf Queen. Or moderated on road running. A 3s system on asphalt would tear up those wheels quick. Awesome build, that Honda is sweet.

I like the MST LBMT 1/10 Body RMX 2.0 & FXX 2.0 Drift Chassis, the Ford Mustang in bright red. And that monster truck MST 1/10 MTX-1 4WD Monster Truck Kit with the C10 Body, which looks horrible by the way and is crying to get it wapped out with the Tamiya F250 body that fits perfect. Or better yet, keep it light with a Traxxis TRX4 Bronco or Blazer lexan body.

  • @JokerInk-CustomBuilds

I did magnetic bodymounts on my first rc build.... And hated how the body popped of any time you hit something ever so slightly... I prefer a hinge of some type and some hidden clips...

Maybe a Tamiya M-class chassis would work for this body? As for the magnets I have installed them on the chassis then put the corresponding one's on top, then apply epoxy to the magnets and set the body down and position it. The body not covering the side of a tub chassis bugs me too! Scale has always been the most important part of the hobby for me too!

Sick color! One of my favorites. It would be cool to see a jtcc spec car, with a MR chassis setup and see a meaty tire and wheels setup. They just came out with the ek chassis which is what I own as a real car. That’s my thoughts on what I want to do but it would look cool on the eg as well

What could work is that u use formula 1 (F103) wheels and slicktires in the front, in the rear is best to use a low offset wheel and make skinnies but modifying the wheels (narrowing by lathe, then glue together again) and find some skinnies in that size ^_^

Make new upper control arms from a cutting board. I have done it before lol. Make them shorter. Either way you need to keep it fwd and this body. Might have to order wheels that tuck farther. They make them
