I can relate……purchased my first handgun (Glock 19 Gen 5) this past December…….now considering the Mossberg 590 Chainsaw shotgun……the Glock 43x……and maybe an AR just because of the anti-gun rhetoric. Responsible gun ownership is a beautiful thing and I have no shame in my Constitutional human right to own them🇺🇸
I almost come to tears when I think of all the guns I passed up in my 20's and what they'd cost today. Bought my first SKS for $70. My first case of 7.62x39 for less than that. The 1980's was a great time to get into guns. Now days I wished I'd have bought 10 times as many as I did.
Like me living in Canada... I've had my license for about a decade and didn't buy anything.... Then the government changed the rules and now we can't buy handguns and a lot of rifles were taken off the market. Now I'll never own a hand gun :( but it encouraged me to go out and just get a fun 22 and also a 12 gauge while I can
Yep. Bought my beretta, bought an AR, bought a 12 gauge pump. Looking into building a different AR, looking into a rifle strictly for hunting, looking into a backup pocket pistol. It'll never end.
My first gun was a Glock 23 maybe in 2016 I used to get my CPL. then a Glock 19 a year ago. Love their reliability but didn't realize how bad they felt and ugly they were til I got a 44 magnum s&w model 29 recently just because I wanted to try revolver and it is peak craftsmanship tbh. Now I want a shotgun and AR also. And after those customize my own 1911 45acp
KE arms or another AR 15 or 10 receiver are a starting point. Once you have a receiver. Building (particularly ar 15) can go as fast or slow as the money allows
I actually used to believe my own lies when I would say "this is my last gun, I just needed this one, that's all". Now I know other people have the same problem 🤦
Wish I would have seen this 3 months ago. Bought a ruger 10/22, bought a PX9, changed the stock on the ruger to an Archangel adjustable stock, was happy for about a day, then started looking at ARs. Bought a lower kit several weeks ago, thinking I'll build it slowly over a few months. Picked up the lower last night and put everything together while watching the Big ten championship. Said I wasn't going to buy anymore for a while, realized Oh, I need ammo for the new baby, bought 200 rounds of .223 because I saw a sale. I'm doomed. I literally lived this video in the last 2 months. These were my first firearms I ever bought....
I don't get into guns, I'm 6' tall, 265 lbs, I just don't fit. But I do get into sending lead down range at high speeds, just to watch holes appear in paper. It's like magic.
It starts with that one purchase out of necessity, after you moved from the college dorm to the sketchy neighborhood just because the rent was cheap. "I just need a pistol. Just something for my EDC." So you buy an inexpensive subcompact in .380 Auto but it always leaves you wanting something a but more. And when you've saved up enough you drop some cheddar on a slick full-sizer in 9mm or .45. And it begins. "...well, I guess a shotgun for home defense would make sense too. It's a security measure, right?" "...you know, I've never owned anything AR-platform; people love those. I'll just see what the fuss is about." "...actually those classic revolvers grandpa always had look pretty cool. Maybe just one as a showpiece and range toy." "...speaking of range toys, that EDC pistol I have is great and all but how fun would a race gun be?" "...I should try long range shooting. A nice hunting rifle isn't that expensive, right?"
Motorbikes 😍. I'm lucky my government just cares about my safety so much I'm not allowed guns incase I shoot myself because I'm an irresponsible baby that doesn't have anything nice to bother protecting anyway
That is why you find a woman that is okay with guns. I showed my wife (at that time not yet even girlfriend) some of my guns when I only knew her for a month or so. You best believe if she had a problem with it I would have moved on to another woman.
Picked out my “perfect gun” and “last gun I’ll ever need”. 3 days into my mandatory 10 day waiting period here in Washington state I’m already looking for my next gun. The addiction is real.
Here in Michigan. You can walk out with your gun same day. But the most important thing I've seen, is people have passed their background check and a gun store still refused them sale. They used their personal judgement on if they felt safe selling to that person. Asking dumb questions or acting like you're in a hurry is a good way to be sent out the door!
LGS staff (covered in tattoos) warned me that guns are like tattoos... you can't stop at just one. I said luckily I don't have any tats, so I wouldn't know. He recommended a tattoo shop to me as well. XD
Oof, that 10 day wait sounds gross lol, I live in Texas 🤣 walked in and out with my gun in 15 minutes, (mind you Iv never moved out of Texas) long story short I bought my first gun and by the end of the same month I was walking out with my second 🤣
Spike Flea 12 gauge and 22LR is all I can find. I want to get a 12 gauge, but I can’t find any damn shotguns. Glad I have what I had before all this mayhem started.
@Spike Flea I got the 92FS. Dunno if I'm a fan tbh, I initially wanted an M&P but those were out. My next plan of attack was to just check a few stores out this week and buy something with in-stock ammo LOL. However I'm gonna see what I can rent and shoot at my local range so Im not buying blind 🙏🏻 All they have rn is .22 😂😂 worst comes to worst I can get a conversion kit 🥴

Your never alone Bro, remember that. Some never met or knew their dad. SO, the fact you love him and knew him is a blessing in itself. The best you can do, is carry on everything everyone else loved about him and be that guy.
The first part hit hard, saved up for weeks to by a rifle I really wanted. I was impressed and thought it was the best. A week later I am saving for the next rifle that will be “the best”.
Why you want a draco for? are you tyin to make a shitty rap music video? Screw the draco and get a good side folding AK and it will do the same thing and you have a real rifle.
Having the disciple to decide on five calibers. I selected 22lr, 9mm, 40, 223, and 308. That helps reduce the temptation to add additional guns. But I understand the temptation for more.
I needed to come back and admire this video because a year ago I bought my first gun and saw this around then and thought "that'll never happen to me. I just need the one for concealed carry" and now I own like 20...
I'm somewhere in the middle, had about 20. Got divorced, new anti-gun-ish girlfriend, no guns, now 15 with 3 on the 'need' list. Am trying to rebuild to a number 1/2 of my age. Need to stow away over 25 to get there. Any new girlfriend better come in with at least 3: rifle, shotgun n handgun. If she has double that then all the more fun on Saturdays.
Too late for me my friend. I am addicted and you are 100% accurate in your assessment. I love my guns though. It gave me something to do in the evenings working on trigger control, grip training, front sight training, holster drills, etc. and weekends, I hung around at Sephora for another lipstick I didn’t need but now I’m on the range learning new things from the regulars who are now my friends. I think in my case, the the good outweighs the bad (unless you’re my bank account) lol😂

I actually bought my first gun when I turned 10, it was an Ithica .22 single shot saddle carbine bought at the 39th street gun shop in st. Louis in October 1960 for my birthday gift to my self. It was new and cost $12.00. In 1961 I went in to Casey's Sporting Goods in Maplewood mo, alone, and bought a Glenfoeld model 60 .22 semi-auto rifle. I bought and paid for it cash up front, it was on sale for $14.00, Mr Casey said I had to have a parent come pick it up with me. I went outside to the corner phone booth and called my dad, he got there in 20 minutes, when dad got there Mr. Casey knew my dad, he greeted dad saying, hi Shorty, dad was 5'-.5", I should have known this was your kid, and they both laughed. Mr. Casey threw in a brick of .22 lr and a neat shieth knife in honor of my birthday and to celebrate my buying that rifle all on my own with money I earned working odd jobs(lawn mowing, leaf raking, baby sitting and my on going collecting and redeeming of .02 cent soda bottles). I still have the western shieth knife Mr. Casey gave me. He was impressed when I told him I already had a.22 single shot Ithica carbine, a model 97 winchester 12 ga pump riot gun(dad gave me the winchester for my 11th birthday) and a Steven's .410 single shot shotgun I had been hunting with since I was 7, I guess technicallythat was my very first gun I owned. We must have sat around talking for hours sharing hunting, fishing and guns, it felt good being equal throughout the whole hours of conversation. I'm 72 now, and I still love collecting and shooting guns. I still have the ithica single shot .22 carbine and the model 97. I also have my dads first gun, a .22 smooth bore "Flobert" cat rifle he got when he was 6 back in 1906. This was a great short article Colion, thank you. You always please.

I am 54 years old and have been collecting guns since I was a teenager. I knew I was i trouble when out of the blue, the wife asked me what it would cost to replace what I have if we were robbed or had a fire. First I was afraid to tell her, then after a few minutes, I realized that I didn't really know. Old S&Ws that I picked up for $200 are now going for $800 or $1000. I paid $290 for a Mini 14 Ranch rifle that is $750 now. I never considered it an investment and most of my stuff isn't cool in the new "tactical " world but they are almost all worth more than I paid for them so it was a blind squirrel investment.
Sell off all of them the ammo could literally ignite a bigger fire if the house was on fire. Also I suggest selling them off for profit and to get only 1 gun to protect yourself.
@@Boypogikami132 Not interested in selling them, I use them for different kinds of target shooting and hunting. I have no interest in the survivalist idea of one gun for everything. What works for a bear while hiking isn't what is best for home defense. What works for home defense isn't what works for teaching grandkids gun safety and to marksmanship.
actually being into cars, IS A HELL OF ALOT MORE EXPENSIVE, Crack and drugs are bad for your health. But guns protect your life. And anyone who thinks im a terrorist or gangster, is not mentally fit enough to be my friend!! I actually want friends who do not wet themselves at the mention of a gun!!
I wouldn't say it's more expensive, it' just that you dump out more money for that forged 4140 rotating assembly in one go than for guns, but you end up buying guns more frequently. One way or the other, my paychecks are always drying up whether it be from another gun or water pump.
I’d never trust someone who doesn’t own a gun tbh, everyone should own at least a handgun. Being able to open carry is one of the most satisfying feelings in the world

I feel like I have a problem. Whenever I get a lump of money the first thing I think about is what gun do I want. I'll spend over 1k on a gun and complain about spending money on other things. Should I go to therapy. I love guns and the only thing I love more is more guns. After my family of course.
Krys Spend more time at the range with your gun instead of sitting at home fantasizing about your next gun and I promise it'll get better. You'll be too busy having fun with your current gun to think about another one. Same thing for women.
Whenever I think about getting a lump of money my first thought is I’d buy a gun with it. I saw a Bugatti race an R34, someone said “give me the R34 any day” and I immediately thought to myself, “give me the Bugatti, I’ll sell it and buy a gun, a house, and a car, plus ammunition and gas”.
I'm a caretaker. My guns are the protective layer of my collection. They provide me a place to put my efforts. Practicing my aim and cleaning them thoroughly. I've owned my weapon almost 25 years now. No incidents.
Funny how I always get the “how many do you need? You can only shoot one at a time” Dissertation from the meathead with multiple bags of state-of-the-art golf clubs. You can only swing one at a time and that new Callaway costs more than a Glock. Not to mention that my day at the range is cheaper than their day smackin their balls around. Your videos are great, keep up the good work!
it's kinda like saying, why do need a tool box with more than one tool. Every weapon has its advantages and disadvantages for whichever situation may occur. But i'm preaching to the choir here.
@@TheAlphaWolf77 lol. That's op's point tho, why are people collecting golf clubs talking shit about someone collecting guns when the same premise applies.

My favorite Colion Noir video. Entertaining, common sense, biting social commentary, stereotypes,... This short video has enough legs to be the trailer of a Major Motion picture.
I watched this video when it came out and thought "ha yea this is funny but Im not gonna be like that." almost 3 years later and here I am watching this video and thinking "wow this video could not be any more accurate."
If you add up the on-the-ground cost of a pack a day, versus a weekend range day's worth of ammo at Early 2018 prices, assuming two range outings a month, the cigarettes are cheaper. At 3 packs every two days, it's a break-even. Two packs a day is more costly.
I don’t know where you guys are buying your smokes, but I want to move there. In Kommifornia, a pack of cigarettes is around $7.50 + tax. Sales tax = (state- 7.25% + local ) 8.7825%. My city is on the low end too. I don’t even want to get started on firearms🤬.
Well, owning firearms requires a much greater degree of responsibility and maturity than a lot of people are comfortable with. And when your nation is full of people who are afraid of living up to those higher standards... well...
they still take up a ton of time especially practicing and training, they can take up money too if you need to go to private places or get professional training

Krys Spend more time at the range with your gun instead of sitting at home fantasizing about your next gun and I promise it'll get better. You'll be too busy having fun with your current gun to think about another one. Same thing for women.
Get out of my life. You just explained myself.
@@YFZriderdude15 thanks for the tip!
I've waited 4 years, i turn 21 on October, you best believe I'm buying more than one gun, i been saving for them
The wife love to buy make up and nice clothes, i love buying ammo and dressing my rifle lol. Nice Chevelle btw
Mikhail Hunter Same for golf clubs. They’ve all got different uses even though they do ‘the same thing’
@@TheAlphaWolf77 lol. That's op's point tho, why are people collecting golf clubs talking shit about someone collecting guns when the same premise applies.
If I can't walk into someone else's house and have the ability to put whatever caliber rounds they have in something I own, then I don't yet own enough guns.
I can shoot 4 rounds of trap for less than a round of golf. Guess who has less stress when he's done?
My favorite Colion Noir video. Entertaining, common sense, biting social commentary, stereotypes,... This short video has enough legs to be the trailer of a Major Motion picture.
1:16 A lot of people have no idea how expensive that cat is.
Minnesota Guy what cat is it
@@---ct8tt I think thats the savannah cat if Im not mistaken.
I thought it was a bengal cat which is about $1500-2000.
@@Billups116 Maybe but there is a savannah cat that goes for up to 20k
i think Savannahs are bigger.
I watched this video when it came out and thought "ha yea this is funny but Im not gonna be like that." almost 3 years later and here I am watching this video and thinking "wow this video could not be any more accurate."
It's insane how factual it becomes once you've dipped your toe in the firearms pool.
@@TheGreatIAMWHOIAM i bought my first gun last week. I bought my 2nd 3 days later and im already looking at another one.
My shooting hobby costs less than smoking two packs a day. So there.
. . . . Actually, the fact that I went there kinda proves his point doesn't it?
JZT JZT wow that cheap in Massachusetts it's $10.50 a pack I use to smoke two packs a day for years thank God I vape now
Rual Tevez i was just in NH and Mass. and i can confirm.
the title got me. the video kept me. great video, VERY informative but also had good comedic sarcastic jokes.
Hi my name is Jim and I’m a “Gunaholic” 😂
Hi jim
Me too
Hi Jim...I'm Jim too.
I have the same problem. 😁
It's funny you know, here in Europe we even struggle with having airsoft guns.
Franky ouch, I got 8 airsoft guns in my closet, then again I live in Texas yee haw!
Well, owning firearms requires a much greater degree of responsibility and maturity than a lot of people are comfortable with. And when your nation is full of people who are afraid of living up to those higher standards... well...
Franky, what country do you live in?
I change 5 ak47 made in albania for 1 ak47 full black with metalic grip made in russia
Not really i live in england you apply for a licence and if its granted you can buy a gun within the conditions of the licence
This applies for almost every hobby though
Brandon except bare-bones sports like parkour, free-climbing, diving, etc
they still take up a ton of time especially practicing and training, they can take up money too if you need to go to private places or get professional training
Yeah like fishing.
I'm into watches...guns are cheap compared to high end watches.
No but other hobbies still have friends and family think it's a waste of time depending on what it is. No one is a hobby accountant.
Glad I’m of an age where I’ve been well involved with firearms since the late sixties, not new to this, thank God. Love wood and blue steel firearms! My carry pistol, a Beretta 84BB 9 short (380) 13 rounds.
great video thanks man, it's really crazy I'm 58 year's old and purchased my first gun about 5 months ago and now I own 3 guns looking at a 4 th gun, I read about guns, I watch RUclips videos every night about guns. I clean my guns after every time I shoot them. Yes this shit is fun.
"You dont want these problems"
Also we dont want yall making ammo EVEN MORE SCARCE
Nail on the head right there.
At this point I’m going to start asking around if bullets can be made out of used car parts
I thought buying guns was addicting... and then I bought my first suppressor.
😂
Mmmmmm.......suppressooooorss .....and donuts. ...😳
Suppressors are harder to get than any firearm
@@JorgeGarcia-bv8ox Depends on the state. Here in Tennesee there aren't restrictions on suppressers. You can get them mailed to you without any fancy paperwork.
Nobody in Particular my bad I didn’t know that that’s pretty cool tho
I have the running out of safe space problem, I honestly never thought I would have that problem.
you have been selected among my few giveaway winners, endeavour to reach out to claim package
"Sexy Chocolate Pro-gun RUclipsr" needs to be a t shirt.
I showed my wife your video!!! and I told her it’s not that bad! She told me I had enough rifles!🤷♂️ I said you’re right honey!...... I need more handguns!!!! 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣🔫 🔫🔫🔫🔫 Great video!!!! 👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 stay safe shooter!!!
And now you're sleeping on the couch. But it's not that bad; kinda like camping. And for a worthy reason, too.
Jacob Maziarz No I actually like sleeping on the couch now. 👍 that gives me more room to put GUNS under my cushions!! I’m the kind of guy that don’t like to have all my eggs in one basket. 👍🇺🇸 thank you for your reply. your support goes along way if you would like to subscribe to the channel that would be great as well your support makes a difference keep in touch shooter! And stay safe!
Lol I think we are at the same place here. Enough rifles and shotguns technically, but I still want an AK for our collection. My hubby says focus on better conceal carry guns. I said sell one of his revolvers, I got a dirty look. 😂😂 So more pistols then an AK. 😁🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
😂😂😂😂😂
My wife told me I had enough. Don't buy any more guns. I got a cap and ball revolver. No background check. When you buy a gun, you have to do a background check. Um... it's not a gun. Bought an 80% lower. What's that?! Um... it's a block of metal. She gave up. She actually told me the other day that I should go buy a gun I really want. I almost shit.
he just wants us to not buy them so the prices go down so he can buy more! Dont fall for it!!!
Winterfell or if we buy more and restrict the supply, his investments go up and price. Its a win win for him
Foobal He's not going to sell his guns. Rather give an organ.
Stupidest thing I heard today
Don’t we all lol
Winterfell 😂😂😂😂😂
this was reverse psychology at its finest.
