7:26 because he believes that the second Kira and the original Kira must've met by now, and Light suddenly started going on random dates with nearly every female at his school. So suspecting that Light was trying to hide a new girl in his life, he had Mr Mogi watching Light and reporting every interaction Light had. Then he had Watari breaking into the homes of every female Light interacted with and collect hair and crumb samples which he is now comparing to those found on the masking used to seal the envelopes that the second Kira mailed the tapes in.

    • @mucicafrajer

Yeah but Light's win condition is also easier to achieve than L's. So L has it double hard if you put it your way

    • @MrVernitrax
      @MrVernitrax 5 дней назад

@@mucicafrajer in my opinion hard to say, we can say that if we know what happens in this and future episodes it was not as easy, a lot of chaos/mistakes happened that lead to certain outcomes, and it is easier to judge someone when you know what will be his next mistake... Light's problem is how to push pieces in the right places, L's problem is to unravel all pieces he needs to get Kira.
Just as example, saying "just tell Misa/Rem to kill everyone" or "just imprison Light to be sure" is easy out, both are not in Light/L character and do not make interesting story. And in my opinion it is important for good show to make things interesting by including this element of chaos, or 'flaws' in characters that do not allow them to do it the easy way. L with deathnote would just probably kill everyone in task force just to be safe, Light would have no issues with imprisoning his "friend". But it doesnt work in reverse.
Also you could say L have it easier because he doesnt have to pretend in front of others as Light does, his game is more... Honest. Thats fun about non-symmetrical situations, it is not clear in my opinion who have it easier... Or if this matters to be honest, show is fun either way :)

Since the early 2000s and all the way until the prevalence of modern touch screen smart phones, Japanese used email text services rather than SMS. That way, one didn't even need to share a number, just their texting email handle, sometimes one could anonymously join groups. In Japan anime, one might wonder how they were texting or having multi people long conversations in the 90s, as they used BBSes while the rest of the world was wondering what a satellite phone was.

I think a misconception with misa love for light is ppl believe she’s in love with Kira not light but she actually loves light.
When people get power or money there true desires and true selves sometimes come out. Which happens in lights case.
Lots what people call it is the true light. This is what the true light thinks of the world. How he feels about people. Everything he does is the real him all because he has the power too.
Miss has fallen in love to the real light the one that happen to voice and show his opinion on the world. Which helped her and she agrees with his ideals. She goes by his side and gets close to help him out in any way so he can be his true self.
Even if he loose it all bc he is what he is and that’s what kind of person he is. She sticks to his side.

Just because L limits himself, and is limited by his lack of information and a magical notebook, that doesn't mean Light is cheating by not limiting himself, and using the advantages he has availableto him.
18:00 "He never faces L on equal playing fields"
That, my friend, is the KEY to good strategy. Unlevel the playing field in your favour as much as possible! That what many famous historical strategists have taught time and again, includimg the likes of "Sun Tzu". Even the police, FBI, various intelligence agencies, try to do this all the time. And why should they keep things fair? If lives are on the line, you want every advantage you can get!

@@storieswithstyle well a magic notebook IS real stuff in their world. L just doesnt know it. Also, what's the difference between "magic" and non-"magic"? They both have their rules as to how they operate, and can only be used according to those rules!
I mean what's the difference between L using investigative techniques that follow logical rules, or the FBI agents that use guns, a tool that follows logical rules, and Light that uses the death note, another tool that follows logical rules?
The only difference is that you are not as familiar with, and dont fully understand the death notes rules, on a fundamental level, so it seems more "magical" and "mystical" to you than a handgun. To the shinigami king who made the death note tho, it doesnt seem magical at all! It's just plain and simple logic to him, that this notebook has the power to kill in the exact way it does, with its exact limitations.
So, to me it seems the only thing here that makes this so called "magic", so 'unfair', is the fact that it is information that Light has access to but L doesnt, and L has no way of knowing he even needs to get access to this information. And I would argue, L could also get access to some such information, that Light wouldnt know about.

Just wanted to bring up about Light "cheating" in his defence this is basically his first time doing this, whereas L has had years of experience solving near impossible cases and he has the full cooperation of major organisations around the world, a taskforce and basically near unlimited funds. Light only has himself, the Death Note, Ryuk who is a neutral bystander and now Misa/Rem thrown into the mix. Iq consists of a crystalline and fluid part and most of the time they are similar. Cryst is basically the harddrive and fluid the processor. So fluid tells you how quick you learn, react, problemsolve etc. And the other how much you know. So you can increase crystalline with learning, but depending on fluid you will learn a lot faster. You can not improve fluid intelligence, other than with healthy food (braingrowth) in childhood.

I want to push back a little against the idea that Light is cheating (but only a little because I'm also a Ryuzaki stand). While it may seem like Light is depending on non-intellectual advantages to win his fight, there are a couple of considerations to keep in mind:
    - L is also taking advantage of things that Light doesn't have, the least of which are massive sums of money, a monopoly on the use of force, and the lack of information on his identity. Could it not be said that L is lucky to have as many as 5 investigators willing to throw their lives away to help him? Should he have taken on this challenge without them? I know it's not exactly balanced but I think it's also unfair to say that all the advantages are on Light's side.
    - it was never about a game of chess or morality for either of them. These are highly goal-oriented individuals. The only reason Light doesn't kill the Innocents is because he thinks (rightly so) that it would hinder him from achieving his ultimate goal: the utopian world. L similarly made use of Lind Taylor and, to an extent, the lives of the FBI agents to pursue Kira. It's difficult to say that either side holds the moral high ground (let's not forget chief Yagami confiscating the tapes at gunpoint). Now of course there is a significance in Light's deliberate and manifest acts of murder as compared to the "crimes" that the detective side committed, so I'm not too hung up here.

What I think is interesting is that Ryuzaki and Light's physical appearances are in direct contrast to the way they operate in society as L and Kira. If L upholds society's rules about justice through law and order, he eschews society's rules on attire, posture, and mannerisms. In contrast, Light appears as the paragon for young men; he's well-dressed and groomed, carries himself well, and interacts with others in a charming way that makes him seem friendly and sociable, and yet as Kira he is trying to enforce a new set of rules on society, to force them to adhere to his will or face the consequences he metes out.

Light upcoming plan is stupid complicated but get ready for a fun ride. You should also give us your feelings/reactions to the openings and ending themes and animations. The 2nd opening animation is one of my favorites in all of anime

People who say Light had one sided advantage should re-watch this episode... This imprisonment (kidnapping) is unpresidented display of power... Mind you he has no evidence whatsoever against Misa to do this..
Honestly Misa should have filed a case against L and made him run for the hills...

This is peak and in my opinion after this episode Death Note goes downhill a bit.
