haha thanks. Glad the Algorithm pushed you in my direction. I have another Ork kitbash uploaded AND another one in the works 👀 Spoil yourself. But honestly thanks for the feedback!
I've been painting Warhammer for over 20 years, and I've been on the same level for the longest time. Only in the last few years have I tried to learn some new techniques by watching others, like indirect lighting, proper shading etc. This video has added to that learning curve. Thanks a lot! Great how the model has turned out! Cheers
Hey thanks so much! I’m similar to you and it’s only been through starting these videos that I’m actually brave enough to venture into some new techniques. I’m working on a video at the moment where I will try non metallic metal for the first time. I’m absolutely terrified.
Such an awesome conversion. Looking at making my Bazdrogg a beast snagga boss, but now you have me tempted to try and do something similar to what you’ve done. Thanks for the inspiration
I really need to take a deep dive on all the fantasy ork models to see what I can make into something proper for the far future I like where your head was at here but I do think the KFF needed some more to make the parts feel more coherent. Some cut up plating to fill the gaps, a few cables running from gubbin to gubbin. A more radical idea: some billowing smoke/flames as this poor contraption is cooking itself into oblivion, as another way to fill the biggest gaps.
That’s really cool, I love orks and this is one of the best paint jobs I’ve seen. Also I see you have spare knight Abominant bits waiting to be orkified.
Oh wow, no I hadn't seen this. I just watched a couple of videos to check them out. I love Green Stuff World products. I've used the colourshift paints for my Ork buggies and find any excuse to use the UV resin.
Hey, the base model is Bazdrogg but I used the chaos knight gauntlet as a backpack, the mega nobz kustom blaster arm and a handful of kustom force field parts from a variety of Ork kits like the mega nobz and also the dakka jet kit I believe.
Anyone know where the gun arm came from?, trying to find a gun arm that fits the size of the model (First attempt was cutting and glueing a combi bolter from a predator onto the guys hand, did not work
Hey mate, yep it's the Kustom Mega Blasta from the Ork Mega Nobz kit. Hope that helps and looking forward to seeing how you go with the build. I found it was a really good fit and you could hide any wonky connection points with a shoulder pad over the top. Mike
@@flashingbadgerpainting Thanks!, Ordered the arm and gun bits from Bitzbox. I've been Khornifying him so far. Gonna run him as a WE character/HQ. Since I feel orks fit quite a bit to be in the ranks of WE
It ain't arrived from Bitz Box, so i'm just gonna buy the meganobz kit in my local GW today. Turning him into a WE's HQ model, used some parts from the goreblade warband from AoS. I had already glued his usual arm in, so had to pry off the shoulder pad, rip off the arm, and re-glue the shoulder pad, but the issue should be hidden once painted.
Yep I appreciate they aren't for everyone. I certainly didn't want to waste the model and saw the opportunity to have some fun. I hope you got a kick out of the video anyway, thanks for dropping in.
He's a awesome Ork you have made. Mr. Algorithm blessed me with this one

The end result shows your capability as an artist plus a scratch builder . Well done !!
Wow thanks so much 😀 hope you enjoyed the video. I’m working on a video this week about my hobby journey this year as I paint up another tricky model.
Thanks so much to everyone for watching. I'm keen to see your comments as well so feel free to post away. Mike
I love the idea of getting fantasy models and converting them into 40k units, really interesting work
Awesome, thanks so much for the feedback Dom and welcome aboard!
@@flashingbadgerpainting look forward to more mashups and conversions
"Bumble my way along," the man says? This looks brilliant! I picked up a couple of ideas from this tutorial, and thank you for the inspiration!
Haha thanks Chris, glad you got some ideas from it.
Always love myself a good ork conversion! This turned out fantastic!
Awesome! Thank you! Less than a week and i'll be uploading another Ork model with some cheeky conversions 👀
Looks absolutely sick
haha thanks Tom, was really fun to put together.

@@flashingbadgerpainting Oh I've tried that years ago, to mild succes 😅 I find it very difficult, but if you get it right it's in a league of its own!
Just watched again for a little inspiration. Very nice conversion, liked and subbed, and looking forward to more.
Awesome thanks! More on the way
Great to see more Ork content!
Thanks! I have even more planned for the Orks in upcoming videos.
Very nice paint job! lots of skill on display with the painting and the video production both are very high quality! Excited to see more in the future
Hey thanks so much for letting me know. I'm keen to keep making learning and making more.
Looks really great!
Thank you! Cheers!
Awesome channel.. Just starting my own ork army, please. Do more of these.
Thanks! I might put together a show case of my huge Ork army or maybe a guide to some weathering as that goes hand in hand with an Ork army!
Looks fantastic
Thanks!
I like it a lot. Keep up the great work.
Thanks a heap! I’m considering some short painting streams on RUclips. Would that be something you’d be interested in watching as well?
@@flashingbadgerpainting yeah I would watch for sure

Awesome! Really glad you liked it. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with. Feel free to tag me if you post it on instagram.
Bro this looks bad ass. I might do this conversion! U love his size and intensity. AOS has some cool models!
Thanks so much 😀 do it! I love this model 🤌
Fantastic conversion. Keep up the great work mate.
Hey thanks so much for letting me know
Propa Orky mate great video!
Thanks! Yeah it was a heap of fun to make
@@flashingbadgerpainting you've inspired me to loot a spare tank I have laying around, thanks for the inspiration!

Hahaha ‘cooking itself into oblivion’ paints such a good picture. Love it, yep that would look ace.
Well Done 👍
Thanks 😁
Awesome channel, man. You are coming out swinging with really impressive quality, hope to see a lot more videos down the line!
Thanks so much! A mate and i have tried to take our time and put a lot of effort in. Really glad you're enjoying it. More to come!
That’s really cool, I love orks and this is one of the best paint jobs I’ve seen. Also I see you have spare knight Abominant bits waiting to be orkified.
Thanks for the compliment! Haha yep pretty much all my spare parts for armies are also considered spare ork parts as far as i'm concerned.
@@flashingbadgerpainting exactly, though I magnetised my Abominant so there weren’t any spare weapon parts
YO!!! I dig it!!
Awesome, thanks!
Have you seen the glow effects people have been doing with the greenstuff florescent paints?

More ork kit bashing
Plenty more to come 😄
I made mine into a warboss with a slugga and power axe (claw) off a deff dredd. Can't find the regular one anywhere.
Nice! I like that idea 🤌
Love the video, what parts did you used please.
Hey, the base model is Bazdrogg but I used the chaos knight gauntlet as a backpack, the mega nobz kustom blaster arm and a handful of kustom force field parts from a variety of Ork kits like the mega nobz and also the dakka jet kit I believe.
What did you use for the left arm?
Hey, I used the Kustom Mega Blasta from the Ork Mega Nobz box. Hope that helps and hope you enjoyed it.

Awesome! Thanks 😄
too cool your ork mek
Waaaaaaagh
ahaha I love that an account named "Ork Mek" found this video. Thanks though!
I despise 40K/AOS crossover kitbashes, they always look shit, like WE fans that use AOS Khorne warriors for bezerkers.
