The four 40k factions of the self-help apocalypse:
*Orks* - “Relentlessly pursue whatever brings you happiness, even when others think it’s stupid (and/or it is objectively stupid).”
*Tyranids* - “Everyone should be encouraged to grow into the best version of themselves.”
*Chaos* - “Change is inevitable but you decide wether it’s positive or negative.”
*Necrons* - “Get off my fucking lawn.”

One of my all time life-mottos has come from the Orks' perspective of war:
_"If we win, it's cuz we da best! If we lose, we lost fightin' so dat don't count! If we have to retreat, thas' okay it means we can try again later!"_
If you succeed, take pride in your accomplishments. If you fail, it's only a failure if you didn't try at all. And if you have to put something down for a bit, don't fret because you can always come back to it when time allows.

I would pay anything to see JRR Tolkien’s reaction to Orks, such as Grizgutz who traveled back in time to get two of his favorite gun, Tuska Daemon Killa who is feared by every daemon in existence and is constantly revived by Khorne himself, or the twin ork Gods themselves Gork and Mork who literally WWE each other across the immaterium for over 60 million years and beat up other gods regularly all because it’s fun. Because when he created orcs, I think he never expected this to happen.

You mentioned ghazghkull and yarric's little rivalry, well there's been a development on that. Yarric has been killed by Angron, and Ghaz is not happy his best fighting buddy got axed. Ghazghkull is mobilizing orks all across the galaxy to find Angron, even stopping imperial ships to ASK where the fallen primarch could be, orks never did that before, talking to people without a fight. This is probably the first time there's been an ork WAAAGH formed not out of the love of battle, but actual hatred.

It's things like this that prove a personal belief I've had for years; it's that wisdom, guidance, life lessons, and thought provoking ideas can come from ANYWHERE, even the weirdest of places. Some may look down on comics, anime, video games, card games, and tabletop and see nothing but a type of entertainment, but for the creators and especially for the fans of such things, they can be far more. Within those worlds, fans see themselves in them and can use them to improve themselves or just help make life a little easier.

@memesupreme6144 cap'n squig beard is a free booter captain who started out as a bad moons lad. He decided he could use his talents with knowing the value of things to be the best pirate there ever was. He got a mane of hair squigs on his head and his face, inspired by zodgrot wortsnagga. He uses his favorite power hook. That's right, it's a custom power claw in the shape of a pirate hook hand but way bigger and orkier. He also uses a custom power cutlass and his favorite snaz gun that looks like an orky black powder pistol. He has a free booter outfit that he customized himself to be as flashy as a bad moons outfit so his ladz could tell for sure he was the cap'n. He's the only ork known to pronounce the R in WAAAGH! making it sound like a deep guttural pirate WARRRGH! Although most who frequent the trade lanes see free booters as no more than pests raiding their supply lines whenever they hear the name cap'n squig beard their blood runs cold because odds are they'd be lucky to escape with their lives because they aren't going anywhere with their loot because all loot on the trade lanes belongs to cap'n squig beard. With his own commandeered space hulk, the void leviathan he wreaks havoc on the trade lanes. His ladz love him because he knows where to find the best of fights and the best loot to make new things with.

The idea of everyone needing to be a 'leader' is so incredibly pervasive. I'm 30 and I work as a bartender. Done it for almost 4 years now. There have been multiple opening for supervisor or manager positions, and I've avoided them like the plague. I've had so many coworkers tell me I'd be good at it, that it's better money, it's just a vaguely "better job", and all I can think is "I cannot imagine a worse hell for myself than being put in charge." I like following instructions, I'm very good at it, and at the end of my shift, I get to leave any of my work stress at the door. Whereas every manager I've met in my job has carried that stress with them everywhere they go

Thank you for reinstating that to me, sometimes someone like me need to stop being stubborn and just do what we want to do and never be afraid that it isn't enough and to always ask for help.

I love the fact I got a warhammer ad while watching this. XD
These are really good advice though. I'm in the process of turning my life 180° going from web / videogame programmer to a mix between industrial mechanics and electrician. This may seem like I'm going against the lesson about not being what I'm not, but I discovered I actually like that stuff. Not only that, I'm currently 1 year into a 3 year program that will let me still be a programmer, but for industrial machines instead of pixels on a screen.
You've inspired me through the years, and I'm greatful for the content. Wish you the best!

I don't play WH40K anymore but I still have my old models that I cherish. A best friend of mine sold all of his orks to me when I got into the hobby so I could play immediately and he painted a wagon and lootas I bought in addition because I had no paints. For that reason alone is why I love orks on top of the lore that is very enjoyable.

The loot and tech of the Mechanicus. The ard fight of the beakies. The weirdness of the spikey boys. Daemons erupting out of weirdboyz in the warp.

Best life coach and a picture of an Ork was something I never expected to see.
Props to the niche Ork game footage, sick metal soundtracks from those games, and starting off with the DoW3 Ork theme.
Edit: if you haven’t played it, DoW3 is fantastic as the Ork’s, strongest faction in the game, to the point they’re nerfed in multiplayer. They’re so much fun though, charging a Waaaagh with metal and fireworks is peak.

But after they told me i should focus on myself and I took time to reflect, I am trying to do streaming for the sake of enjoyment and hope those who come by and enjoy as well. I want to do more for the sake of me seeing how things go and enjoy it with those I share it with.
So thank you, Goombah. This has motivated me to do something fun. Duh wheelz be turnin.

As a relative newbie in the 40k universe, I now understand that the Orks are only for very best of players. Those who don't care about victory or defeat, but who just wanna give it the best they can for a great and fun experience.
But also, if you live your life in this way and especially spent together with the people who care about you, then you will look back at it one day, with only fullfillment and satisfaction.
