  • In this video EasyFirePits.com shows how "Easy" it is to make your own portable propane fire pit, which can be assembled and dis-assembled, packed up, picked up, and taken from party to party, and campsite to campsite at the drop of a hat. This project took less than 15 minutes to complete, from start to finish, and anyone can replicate this process in the same amount of time or faster with the right tools!
We use our Basic CK Propane Kit with a few modifications and upgrades as well as our Lifetime Warranted 6 Inch Marine Grade 316 Stainless Steel Log Lighter Burner to retro fit a surplus ammunition canister for maximum flame out put and portability.

This was a fun one to make and we hope you get inspired by this video to build something similar with us!
Note: If not using "High Heat" paint, the flame and heat from the fire pit might bake it off, so use caution.
Check this out and if you have any questions, please email us at info@easyfirepits.com and please please include a phone number as we receive hundreds of emails weekly and while we try to get back to all of them, sometimes it requires a phone call.

    2) Portable or Whole House Type Tank
    3) Dimensions and Distances
    - from pit to tank or connection
    - length of hoses or burners or pit or trough dimensions

What size air mixer did you use for the ammo can? Large or small orifice?

We used mall air mixer used with 6" log lighter burner. General rule of thumb, small burner = small air mixer.

Excluding the ammo can how much does this set up cost

Anywhere from around $115.00 to $225.00. Will work with just the Basic Propane Kit and 6" Log Lighter Burner, but if you upgrade the hose to stainless steel, add air mixer, and quick connect/ disconnect features it goes up. The links to the products are in the description as well if you want to check them out on our site! Thank'

@@EasyFirePits_ Just wondering if you have a kit to make flames come out of your exhaust pipe On a go kart.

? How is having 3-4 inches + sticking out of the can portable in any way? Pretty sure a number of other companies make a diy kit more compact.
Seriously painting over top of the original can paint? That’s going to burn off first use. Wow seriously!

Because of the ability and height of our flames and fire features, we’d like to leave a couple inches of metal before you get to a hose that may melt otherwise. It can be unscrewed and pushed right back in when you’re done and pulled out when you’re not.
