    The Veyron and the Chiron are dismissed as "overrated" so often that they are, quite ironically, some of the most underrated cars .

    • @aidanb1129
      @aidanb1129 4 года назад +208

      Quacktics are Go they get all this hate because of other hypercars. Take Koenigsegg fans (I’m one myself), they hate in Bugatti to the max, but the truth is these are completely different purposed cars. One of a raw, hard to handle bullet and the other is essentially a 1000hp+ Bentley.

    • @AYO_KO
      @AYO_KO 4 года назад +103

      Bugatti was the best early on with the Veyron. Once they broke world records, that Koenigsegg destroyed, people just made it fun to hate Bugatti. They're mad really bc everyone knows that Bugatti has the "It" factor, whether or not they're the fastest anymore.

    • @friedbaconsizzles
      @friedbaconsizzles 4 года назад +35

      That's because they haven't ever seen one driven before. I once tried to keep up with a Chiron on I-95 in Philly, I had to do triple digits just to catch up, and it took me in my dinky ass Impreza 15 seconds to do it when it took him 3.

    • @rmiah
      @rmiah 4 года назад +100

      Best analogy ive heard is that a Koeniggsegg might take you to the same speed as a Bugatti, but the Bugatti is the most comfortable you’d ever be at that speed. Two very different engineering marvels.

    • @aidanb1129
      @aidanb1129 4 года назад +46

      virginia creeper watching videos of a Bugatti and koenigsegg at high speeds, you see one is planted and comfortable even at 200mph+ and one throws u around in your seat. Both amazing, but you really can’t compare them. Not to mention Bugatti could go extreme with the backing of Volkswagen group if they wanted to

    SOOO HAPPY someone FINALLY made this video!!! 99% of "car enthusiasts" hate this car for one REAL reason!!! Its the same reason that all these "die hard" car guys hate any super car. Or basically any car that costs more than $45,000.... Its because they can never see themselves actually being able to afford one!!! That's why you get the IDIOTIC statements like, "if someone gave me a new Ferrari, I would just sell it to buy a new Civic TypeR and an STI and a bunch of old cars that I could mod to be "just as fast." But the Veyron is an INCREDIBLE, EPIC machine. The SS is absolutely AMAZING!!! And don't get me started on the new Chiron!!! Carfection took one to some brilliant twisty backroads to see how it handled and if you could actually enjoy a canyon run with one. Their conclusion was that it was a TRUE DRIVERS CAR!!! It's just a drivers car that is faster AND has higher limits than literally ANY other road car on the planet!!! It produces so much grip, and handles so well that even with all its weight, its maneuverable enough and playful enough to leave ANY road car for absolute dead on a back road!!! And you will be giggling like a drunken school girl the whole way as you wrap it around a tree. Because it is so much faster than a normal human can think. GOD I NEED to drive one in a good canyon someday before I die!!!

    Well done! I like how this has great production, is extremely informative, and a little technical, yet allows the host to show his personality. But, most importantly, the host isn't there because of his personality - he's there because he's had the schooling, done the work and earned the spot through the car world and keeps earning it by going heavy on the history and details. (But, seriously, Jason, in one of the shots we can see you need some sleep - don't work too hard and get rest!)

    This was great. No suggestions for what to cover next as I'd rather just be surprised by something I'd never think of. Just wanted to say its so refreshing to see a video that looks at a car in depth but in a way no one else does. Facts and figures are boring, the stories you tell mixed with the tech explanations you offer make for a truly great experience

    I won't lie, I'm one of those people Jason talks about hating on the Veyron (except for the Super Sport, since it fixed most of my issues with the original). Despite that, whatever I or anyone else may think about the Veyron, you can't deny the engineering Bugatti went through to build the car in the first place. So hearing about how the Super Sport was developed puts a smile to my face. I may not think highly about the Veyron, but the engineering behind it I massively respect and applaud VW/Bugatti for.

    Great behind the scenes info on these cars! Enjoyed the bonus footage too. It’s just too bad that you didn’t include any actual driving around corners, etc. you were referring to, which differentiated the 1200 hp SS, from the original 1000 hp car.
