Thanks man
Tons of helpful tips here. I don't know how I never noticed the randomize function for the macros. That one is definitely going in my workflow.
Right? Such a good sound design tool, randomize and resample away
Always the smoothest teacher 👍
@3:00 You can always create 1 extra note when warping and then it will snap to the end of what you were trying to warp. Then delete the note.
dude great tips! the first two were 🤩
Love ur music! Thanks for the tips :)

Cool tips there, thanks for sharing
Great stuff
The link tracks are also on Live 11 and I think 10
All 12 of these tips are in live 11 :)
Great tips but they're all available in Live 11.
Yes this is in Live 11, 12 tips in total
Kermode - wow, the hold shift and then move midi notes is quite helpful.
I have a question. I admit I am a Version 11 Suite Power user but sometimes stubbornly blunder on inefficiently. Here is a basic question no one will answer.
Say I'm drawing volume automation with the pencil tool. Is there in Live or any DAW a way to force the program to draw a straight line? I'm not talking holding shift or control which sort of works ofI'm saying I start drawing a line with and it doesn't go up or down at all. It is locked as I draw so if I wanted to lower volume to say, -6.5 db, once I get there the entire line I draw is at -6.5 db, not "pretty close."
Thanks!
I think the most effecient way to do this is to create an automation point where you want it to start, another where you want it to end, then right click to add a specific value (say -6.5), then both points are 100% what you want it to be
@@KermodeMusic Thanks very much.
Misleading video title though… these are not in ableton live 12 :)
Yes 12 tips, for Ableton 😊
great vid, but you might want to consider changing the title to “Ableton Live 11 - Twelve Tips You Need to Know” because I thought this was for Live 12
