I just ordered one of these to connect my Rev 2, Minifreak, DX7, Tape machine together. Can't wait for it. This was the perfect demonstration of how to make this all work. Thanks Jef.
Hey Jef! It was great chatting with you last week and thanks so much for making this video! It's really wonderful to see hardware people embracing everything this product can do!
Just got mine last week and I am blown away. So happy with this choice. What I have done is used my two Focusrite Sapphire, Pro 40s that are no longer supported and I have them running in through the ADAT, which gives me another 16 inputs along with the 16 that I already have, so I have 32 inputs, running into my audio fuse, which allows me to have all my drum machines and external gear functioning again, all at once ready to go whenever I need it. I am just so blown away and so happy with this unit. I have been looking for so long for different options and opportunities between other brands and this was everything that I was looking to be able to do at a reasonable price Kudos to Arturia.
Great to hear! Question for you: Do you have everything running in the mixer of the control center or do you have all midi devices set to local off requiring you to set up a channel in a DAW? Still not sure of the best workflow for myself!
@@jefgibbons as of right now because i\ve only had the unit a week right now I have the main midi dinout 1 going to 1 of the old yamaha MJC 8's I have and i have settings on there for right now I'm trying to get everything set up for my work flow but havn't gotten that far. Cubase is my main Daw and I'm working on creating templates as we speak. I have 3 Old Roland MKS 100''s and a Ensoniq ASR-x-PRO, Roland JV-100, and a Alesis Data disk with old programs and sample on it. But so happy with the Unit so far. I will let you know how it turns out. By the way big fan of the channel. Thank you for all fo the knowledge your are sharing. ☮
This was great. Been thinking of pulling the trigger on this baby. I think many of us would love to see a video on using the 16Rig standalone. Please keep the 16Rig content coming, and thank you for all of your hard work! Subscribed.
I would kill for the ability to edit the matrix from an ipad. This has the potential to be a slim patchbay/mixer in standalone mode outputting to another sound card but not having control of the matrix is a bummer.. Any tips for that?
I’m getting no sound out of my monitors. It’s recognizing the inputs signals of my keyboards and synths, but I’m just getting no sound. I tried playing a RUclips video and the sound is coming out of my monitors. Just no sound from all my gear. Any idea on the fix? Or what I’m missing.
I got mine one week ago for mixing 7 synths plus an External effects loop… it’s just mindblowing and easy! Your video is really really useful and is showing how it works hands-on! Many thanks for that 👍🏻. Any chance to got a kind of tutorial specifically on MIDI setups around this unit?
Thanks for sharing. I miss a Main stereo bus to record on cubase. I have to choose inputs per inputs (or instruments stereo inputs) but how to just record the Main stereo bus from the rig ? I would love to play a midi sequence with all my synth connected and only record a stereo track with everything in it, just like the monitor/main stereo out......waiting for your feddback and suggestions. But great job and whats a dream configuration you have in your studio.
Purchased this last week. Loving it so far but how can I get my DAW(reason) to capture audio signal from audio fuse? I have my Polybrute connected to input 1 and 2. I can hear the synth in my monitors but when creating an audio track, i get no signal for recording the Polybrute into my daw.
Hi Jef, apologies for the off-topic question but I’m setting up a new studio with a 65” tv like yours and would love to know your desktop height and the height of your tv as I really want to get it right! Also, is your office chair a normal height? Thanks so much
Definitely! Same setup will work for me in Maschine or M+. Best part there would be auto sampling the synth patches! Check my vids on auto sampling… my fave recent feature in Maschine! (Something we don’t have in Cubase)
Got mine in last week. I replaced two focusrite scarletts (kept one for adat inputs). Blown away with it. I also scrapped my patchbay, using the mixer inside of it has been fantastic for routing synths to pedals and effects scattered about

Nice! You'll love it... thanks for the comment Austin!

Yes! Thanks for the chat, you guys should be proud of this one!

@@IKnokBeats sounds good! Yeah keep me posted... these setups are so complex, but worth it to find a nice workflow!

Thanks! Will do!
Thanks for sharing your set up J
Very cool interface! Very good reivew.
I need to replace mine.. I should check this Audiofuse for sure.

Seems really a great breakthrough.
Thank you for the video.
Do we still need a mixer, a patchbay, a MIDI interface/hub with this new device ?

Nice vid. I’ve been thinking about snagging this particular interface…🔥💯😎
Great video. So much to learn ... I am sure that we are more creative when we use less virtual istens !!

Trop bon Arturia et parfait pour ton Studio

😊what would be latency using this interface under Cubase? Particularly using 2 or 3 VSTs?

Are you able to send an analog input pair, to multiple analog outputs?
The routing matrix looks so much like a Dante matrix...so simple to route! Arturia made a great interface here! What's your latency in N13?
Hi Jef, have you thought of connecting your Maschine+ with the Audiofuse16Rig to your synths. What would be your most favorite use cases?
Definitely! Same setup will work for me in Maschine or M+. Best part there would be auto sampling the synth patches! Check my vids on auto sampling… my fave recent feature in Maschine! (Something we don’t have in Cubase)
Jef, show us your computer setup sometime., you must be the only person who’s computer doesn’t break down.
Just go back a few vids… then post back here ;)
Does the Audiofuse 16Rig work with Pro Tools? If it does I need 2 of these.
What about your other synths ? Minifreak,Juno 106 ?
I’ll get them in there too!
Holy shit your mustache threw me off !!😂
Sadly it’s gone… my wife is not sad about it!
May as well go for the beard too🎉
Hmmm NHL playoff season is almost here... might be time for the beard!

erm... Audiofuse is not as good as the Focusrite Clarett (not Scarlett!) series.
