March 19th, 2021 Stage IIIA Non Small Cell Lung Cancer (Non-Smoking)
February 2022 Stage IV Non Small Cell Lung Cancer (spreading to Brain, and other parts of lung and lymph nodes)
Gene Mutation EGFR with Exon 20 Insertion
TREATMENTS: Received or currently Receiving
2021: 8 Rounds of Chemotherapy (Carboplatin and Paclitaxel) with 30 concurrent radiation treatments to chest and lung
Failed Immunotherapy directly after Chemo and Radiation (Durvalumab, 1 round)
2022: Chemotherapy
10 rounds of Chemotherapy (Carboplatin, Alimta, and Avastin)
6 with Carboplatin, 4 without
Targeted Brain Radiation (Completed)
CURRENT TREATMENT:
I am on a clinical trial for my specific gene mutation

The purpose of my channel is to document my cancer journey to look back on, and/or help anyone else going through anything similar. It is also to potentially help loved ones supporting those who are in this fight as well. This is also an easy way to update a lot of people at once. My main goal is to have footage of this journey for my husband and children to look back on. I originally created this channel as a sort of video diary for my

Kyle, my friend had a near death experience, she died for a few minutes, and all she remembered was a voice saying “THIS life isn’t real. Your real life will begin when you die.”
Maybe this world is an illusion, to learn lessons. And since we all agree that Jenny was perfect, she probably didn’t need to stay here that long and learn all these lessons the rest of us seem to have a hard time mastering. ❤

But watching your videos and seeing what you've been able to handle help me handle things so much better. I thought God I can handle a freaking sinus infection if Jenny could handle all this. Spot on ladies!! I’m fighting cancer peritoneal mesothelioma stage 2!! Almost to my 4 week mark from cytoreductive, hipec chemo, and complete hysterectomy!! I’m so grateful surgery was an option for me because said beautifully not everyone gets surgery and it breaks my heart

Here i am up at 03:00am since i saw the sadest video of Jenny's passing. I decided i was going to watch older videos of her and Kyle and her beautiful children and her family. This one made me sad. I was hoping and praying she would have many many more. But the cancer is gone she beat it and is with our Heavenly Father & our Savior Jesus Christ 💜💜💜

I’m 68 and just starting my journey with stage 3B lung cancer squamous left lung,tumor blocking left lung airway and lymph nodes in my chest I turned 68 on May 28 th and on June 28th was diagnosed 2 months before this my X-rays showed my lungs were clear no tumor nothing in 2 months time i find out about this I start redaction and chemo this week,no cure but maybe manageable I didn’t want anything but m6 children insisted just as my drs did,if I can’t be normal I’d rather just be gone then go through all this pain for nothing😢

When the pain became unbearable, the priest who was a friend of mine, told me something I’ll never forget ‘’The grief is for those of us left behind but for those going ahead of us, they got a first class ticket to somewhere much brighter and happier than here’’. I do believe that to be true. This life, even though many praise it non-stop, is a long line of struggle after struggle. The bible says none of us can imagine the beauty, comfort and love we will feel when we pass, and I do believe this. Happy birthday Jenny, another stage 4 NSLC and fellow twin weighing in. I am grateful to have found your channel and those like it. Me having just begun pill treatment this month, I feel like we have some things in common. You being further along in treatment, your videos help me anticipate upcoming experiences, including the pleural effusion which I also have. That said there are areas I consider you much stronger than I could be. I couldn’t imagine having to prepare my small children for the inevitable. My hat’s off to you. My children are adults now. The positive that I see out of this is that we have a chance to do just that. To say good bye. So many people are taken suddenly without having a chance to prepare family. Good luck with your infusion tomorrow. I will be sending you positive vibes.

I know you mean well, and I am sorry for what you’re going through, but she doesn’t use words like “the inevitable” and she doesn’t really talk about that so much because she is trying to concentrate on living in the moment and living longer and surviving treatment.

Hi jennie i was crying when you were talking about you being so grateful for your brother helping with your kids. I could relate to everything you were talking about because i am also very close to my family and they would jump right in and help as well if i needed it. We are sooo lucky to have wonderful family - a lot of people don't have that. So i am so grateful as i know you and kyle are❤
