I'm always amazed how there's gender reassignment surgery, all kinds of hormone replacement stuff but when it comes to teeth the options are grim and so costly its insane
How are the options grim? There's literally dozens of options to getting the smile you want. And wtf does gender reassignment surgery have to do with teeth? It's not like those types of surgeries and/or hormones are cheap. The two aren't even comparable anyways, you just wanted to be transphobic. Grow up.
that's why so many people have missing and bad teeth! Furthermore dental insurance is a joke,...it doesn't cover hardly any or just a fraction, ...and to make matters even worse I found that most dentist don't even accept the insurance. ...everything out of pocket.
My mother wore dentures for about 30 years and towards the end of her life she had very little bone left and none of the other options were available for her. I wish I known about other options earlier and she could have a better quality of life. But she never complained. That’s how wonderful she was.
I am in the same boat, but the options available are not that great and may not work. And they're too expensive anyway, From all the specialists I've gone to, they say bone loss is beyond their expertise.

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth... well actually an upper denture and a lower partial. Insurance should make this affordable for everyone. Imagine a world where everyone can have a beautiful smile, and proudly show it. What the world needs now is love... and people smiling.
In reality, this IS the cheaper option. Up until the 3 on 6, the average permanent full mouth restoration (All-on-4) was $80k. Our 3 on 6 system has cut that price in half and many doctors doing things the old way are unhappy that we are driving prices down. We understand that it's not affordable for everyone. The 3 on 6 is the best permanent smile restoration available but for those who want something cheap, there are other options such as dentures and implant supported dentures.
$30k for a full mouth.. With good credit. Extractions and bone grafting are extra! Its ridiculous that they get away with charging that much for this stuff..
Hi Mike! The 3 on 6 is likely the most affordable permanent full mouth restoration you'll find anywhere, and likely by a large margin. We're happy to have you come in for a free consultation and we can let you know what it will take.
I need help. I'm a 34 year old mother of two girls and unfortunately I did not get a good start in life with oral care. My mom raised Me by herself and was working three jobs to get by and to take care of me and my four brothers. Long story short, all of my teeth have deteriorated and I have four abscesses right now. I have been dealing with severe tooth decay for 10 years and the worst part is that I have no credit. No bad credit but no credit and CareCredit will not help me. I've been trying to find a dentist or somebody to sponsor my procedure.... Does anybody have any recommendations? I live in North Dakota.
I agree with other comments , average people like me , on a small pension cant afford what it costs to fix their teeth, my teeth have been terrible and extremely crooked all my life which was difficult going through life , but my parents simply could not afford braces or to pay that much to fix my teeth up, they did what they could ,
I agree with you we need teeth to be healthy. Also having crooked teeth affects people’s self esteem. Braces and other things should be affordable. I am so sorry.😢 💔
I would love this treatment. In Australia and even if it was here, it would be far too expensive for me to have it done. Dentists are the most overpaid people in the medical industry in my opinion. Yes they have people to contend with but still overcharge and some don't even do that great a job and are very slap dash. I only go if I have to.
Same for me Liz. I only have top and bottom front teeth left due to medications over the years. It would cost me $25,000 to get all new teeth. All on 4 they call it. Will just have to gum everything to death for the rest of my life.
My grandmother used dentures since she was 27 they never have fallen off, and the food has tasted wonderful plus they look so natural people don't even realize she wearing dentures I think sometimes a dentist is like a mechanic they are always pushing for more pricey things.
To use the car analogy you proposed: dentures are like driving a 1990 Honda Civic. For many people they are happy in a car that doesn't have power steering or air conditioning or modern safety features. And that's okay. The 3 on 6 is like driving a brand new Lexus. It is more comfortable (permanent, no large plastic in the roof of your mouth), more safe (protects from bone deterioration), more convenient (doesn't have to be removed each night, rinsed in chemicals, and glued back in everyday), and higher performing (you can eat steak, apples, corn on the cob, anything you want!). So there's no right answer for every single person, but all things considered, an implant restored 3 on 6 smile is far superior than a removable acrylic denture.

I believe in dentist making a porfit, however 90% of people cannot afford even $5,000..everyone should be able to have this at an affordable rate. Teeth health effects your entire health and life. Like medical care, dental care is not a privilege but a necessity! With the technology we have today plus the 3D printers that can make these ...I don't see why the cost cannot be closer to the $5,000 mark. I'd sign up in a second, yet still need to pay it off over a 5 yr period with my income. Sounds like a great procedure...lets get the cost down!
The lab fee alone is ranging from 5-10k for just labor and materials (this is not the high either), this does not include implant parts. What are you suggesting Dentist should make? Hours of planning, paying staff, rent etc...
Denise DeStefanis $5000 is a lot for me, when I lost me teeth first I lost were the ones (8) that I had root canals! I wore braces in my late 30s into my mid 40s! So Paying more out like that is A hurting in your pocketbook!
Cheaper doesn’t mean better and I experienced that first hand when I went to a cheap dentist, I go to a great one now and I pay a premium out of pocket and it’s way too expensive for me but the result speaks for itself.

This makes me feel sick to my stomach. I have had dentures for almost 10 years and I absolutely hate it. Having dentures has caused me to not go out and make friends or be around people. It has taken any self esteem I had. When I laugh or smile around family, I look down or hide my smile because I feel so horrible about myself. This is going to the front of my WISHLIST. I will start to save every bit of money I get for this procedure. Perhaps I would start a youtube channel and document my entire process of getting it done. If it helps me, I am sure I would want to share it with the world. Im only in my early 30's. I have to fix this problem or my life will continue to degrade and stay in a place that isnt healthy, all because of the beautiful smile I had at one point in my life. GRRR. Thank you for creating this product. Even if i have to go to a different state to have this done. Im down.

I also think that implants should automatically be covered by your health insurance the dentist basically said it himself the only one that you can live with is implants
We wish it were the case. Unfortunately dental insurance is rarely worth the price you pay for it. That said, insurance is designed so they win in the long run by making you pay more premiums than you would if you just paid for the treatment yourself.
Absolutely not - I, along with countless other Americans, do not want to pay higher premiums to help reverse the effects of the poor personal decisions of others. Smoking, drug abuse, poor oral hygiene and diet is the leading cause of tooth loss and decay - why should those that live a healthy lifestyle be penalized for those that don't? Of course dentists would be OK with this because that would mean more patients and guaranteed profits but the average responsible American values self-accountability and consequences for one's actions or inaction. I would become a political activist quick if this issue was on the table and donate all that I could to avoid becoming more of a nanny state. If we could separate those accident victims with otherwise healthy teeth, that is one thing, but to replace a mouth full of decay with expensive implants is an outrageous suggestion.
@@smileclinicusa That is the dentist's and insurance companies' fault. GREED! There should only be a co-pay if you are insured! The dental industry is a SCAM!
I love the idea for my husband but seriously ... this is not available to the majority of people who can not financially handle this. Dental health is so important but Dental insurance is crappy.
that’s because Dentist charge an insane price for dental work, they are way over paid. If you actually figure out how much they get paid per hr. ( and that’s not for the fancy stuff) It’s insane.
My dental insurance is so crappy it’s not even funny. It pays a percentage of each procedure with a ridiculously silly maximum. Only preventative is paid for completely. $30,000?
They are so expensive here in the US! So many people are doing it abroad now, way cheaper, ex) Mexico, Philippines, etc. You can have a vacation at the same time, cheaper!
Dr Seer And that is why I made the comment as well. The lab fees alone is 5k to 10k. Dentists cannot rob the lab guy either. What do you think dentist should make for hours of planning, surgical time and materials, pay his staff, lab fees, rent, his loan for going to school, liability insurance? That is why I made the comment.
This looks like an amazing option, for those that can afford it ! I have always tried to look after my teeth e.g. brushing twice a day etc. But looking back i do think that some of the dentists i,ve had , have really done early unnecessary work . I have several crowns, and one that came out recently cannot be put back, due to crack in what,s left of my tooth !! The only option is for implants ... costing much more than i can afford, as i am on a pension . Think i should have trained as a dentist !!
the biggest problem is the cost. I thought maybe someday the cost would come down but it just keeps going up up up. I guess that's how you tell the haves from the have nots. Im sure the majority of implants are just pie in the sky hopes.
I love my dentutes. I even have a spare one with a gold front tooth for occasions. To be real , i am a lower limb amputee and i would rather have my false teeth than a prosthetic. Teeth are very important.
We couldn't agree more about the importance of teeth. I would think though that if you could have permanent teeth as opposed to a removable denture, you would prefer permanent.
I was just saying the same thing my grandmother eats corn on the cob and steak with her dentures these are for rich people they want just want your money. I can't even afford to trade in my old beat-up car. Lol

I went to the dentist and had a 'flipper made with 1 tooth', he charged me $325.00 so a few years later I went to a dentist in my hometown, he was the son of my former dentist who retired, he was also great at pulling teeth just like his dad, so I'd lost 3 more teeth and he made me a flipper with 3 teeth and only charged me $125.00, he wasn't out to make a killing but to help me smile again. This flipper was made of acrylic & was so comfortable, I guess it was like a temporary removal bridge, IDK but have been told by a dental assistant that "this thing" is only for temporary purposes but I've had it for 3 years, it has served me well, so last year I had a crown break off at the gum line & had to have the eye tooth removed. I have 5 implants & want to get snap in dentures. I think dentists over charge people way so much that we can't afford to get our teeth fixed. I had as much dental work done as possible before I retired because Medicare doesn't cover dental work. Last Nov. I did take out Dental Insurance but the policy must be in force for 6 months b4 they'll pay anything towards a crown or fillings, then you pay half of the price. Xrays & teeth cleaning are covered from the start. My teeth started going bad at age 50 from medications for arthritis.
I understand. I'm a very young 55 but just had all my top teeth removed and have an immediate denture in right now. My surgery cost over $6,000.00 to have my teeth removed ,(and this is only the top ) and my immediate denture was $1,500.00 . I could cry right now but I'm hoping with adjustments and practice it will get better. Not to mention the pain because I am only 3 days after surgery. I'd love to get this done but the price is for the rich only.. Normal people can't afford this kind of treatment.

@@Jamie-Russell-CME Note that Washington is NEVER shown smiling, in any of his portraits. In real life, supposedly, he hid his mouth and was terribly embarrassed about not having teeth. (Actually, he had one. One tooth.) Now, if this much-loved, wealthy general felt this way, how on earth are we ordinary folks supposed to cope? Come up with $30K, somehow. And if the implant fails, tough cookies? (Nope, can't chew that...)
It all sounds quite simple and straightforward. ... BUT .. if you have bone that has receded, it has to be rebuilt, so's the screws can be inserted. BUT .. rebuiding the bone in many cases is not possible. I am a prime example of the latter, which resulted after an implant job that went terribly wrong.
@@Poepad The material that was put in to build the bone kept seeping out. Also when I snorted, ( every 2 mins) yellow pus came into my mouth. Which I beleived was a sinus infection. Which could well have been. So when the pins were removed, the Dental Specialist said my sinus cavities had to be rinsed out 10 times during the operation; to get all that pus out. What it boils down to, is, my Dentist is an amateur concerening doing Implants. He did this kinda work, just once a week on people. You need a guy that does it all day and 5 days a week - who then should be experienced at the Job . (hopefully)
I so wish my husband could have this done. He has almost no teeth on the top of his mouth and it's been like this since he was 30 when he almost died because of high acid burning through his stomach and throwing up ruining his teeth. my husband is the same way. he has dental issues and didnt get dental care growing up so its affected his adult teeth or whats left of them. My car costs me half of that 30K. It may not be a newer car, but in 2012 it was. This is insane to think that people should have to take a claim out on their life insurance or something equally as drastic for teeth health. This industry sure does capitalize on people's insecurities. It's sick!

Usually when a person gets implants the ridges have shrunk so much they no longer support a denture properly. Over dentures on implants replace thr ridge loss with acrylic for proper lip support.Unfortunately 3 on 6 seems to be a good alternative ,but theirs no added acrylic for gum support and without gum between the teeth ,the teeth tend to look like a row of chicklets and are very expensive.
Appreciate the response Larry. You aren't wrong, in the sense that sometimes the 3 on 6 isn't the best solution when there has been significant bone loss. We also offer all on x in those circumstances. However, there are a lot of things that can be done to enhance the bone and tissue to make it so good bone doesn't have to be removed for the placement of a prosthetic.

I've had breast cancer, also was on bone density meds, which my doctors forgot to tell me that the bone meds breaks down your bones and rebuilds them, but it just breaks your teeth down, and it crumble my teeth. I went to this dentist I found on line in Charlotte, NC. First thing the dentist said to me why did you not take care of your teeth, which I felt like slapping his face, I've had 9 root canals, wore braces from my late 30s to my mid 40. Lost every tooth that had a root canal. Then he proceed to tell me I was not qualified for dental implants, and he said first of all at that time, you are 65 years old, second you been on bone dentist meds and that breaks your gums down. he pulled my teeth, and mad me some 3-g teeth, the teeth were to big, the gums were larger than the teeth And I could not even shut my mouth. One other thing he was going to pick the color of my teeth, and I told him no sir your not, I am paying for these and I will be picking out my teeth. Took them home and mailed them back to him the next day. He had took a new impression and was going to have a new set made for me. But when I called and told them I was mailing them back and to forget the impression, and that I would find someone else to make me some. Which I did that Thursday. The teeth look good, but that is it. I have yet to learn to eat with them. I wear them when I got out in public, and that is it. Very disappointed!

There has to be a AMAZING down to earth Dentist that can not only make people feel good about themselves and price just that alone would make everyone involved HAPPY!!! hope is always there
All the dentist's want to talk about is implants. Forget creating a beautiful set of dentures. If the dentist make the impression correctly(tightly/ the upper dentures will fit Snug..... nothing needed to hold them in. They also have ,2 implants for the bottom denture.
Dentures are certainly an option but come with many drawbacks. The bone in the mouth will continue to deteriorate without implants, causing the denture to stop fitting properly and it will need to be adjusted again and again. You also lose sensations of taste with dentures and it can cause mouth sores, gagging, and excess saliva. Your diet is also more restricted with dentures. Many of our patients started in dentures and hated them so much that they decided to do the 3 on 6™. There is no right answer for every person, but most people would prefer a permanent implant based solution like the 3 on 6™.

I’m interested to know about the three separate implants I’m learning about in this video. That might be an option for me. I have natural teeth on the top and bottom still. Some that were extracted on the top and bottom
The cost is outrageous. When you think of the material involved, low cost, how much does that little amount of acrylic cost, and to place screws in the mouth, 6 screws couldn’t cost too much, it’s all done in a lab, and since a majority of people have partials or full sets by the time they are 50, seems like a giant racket. Dentistry appears to have caused more people to need dentures than to have prevented tooth loss in adults. But $20 k for dentures is a bit hard to swallow. $2k should be reasonable, if they could actually be worn comfortably by the recipient. Since prescription eye glasses can be ready in 17 minutes (for two pair) at less than $500, you’d think dentures could be somewhere in the same price range.
Dental care has always been extremely expensive. And it's now even more expensive. With all the new technologies how to improve a dental implant or dentures, it should be affordable for everyone, without to struggle to paying it back. I mean everyone needs teeth, you have to eat properly in order to keep healthy and you need to be healthy that you can work so and if you work you need to talk and smile occasionally and if people see you have no teeth or a lot missing, unfortunately people judge you because of your image. So from my aspect teeth are important in life you need them.
I agree. If I’m ever rich I want to start a charity to help people with dental costs. But people shouldn’t have to ask for help on go fund me etc to cover basic health expenses
I received 9 implants 6 on top for a fixed non removable bridge and 3 on the bottom for a snap on denture for under 10k in Colombia. It was the same exact treatment and material they use in the USA. My question would be why does that same procedure in America Costs 50k to 75k. I’m so glad I never need to deal with a rip off American dentist again in my life. Colombia is absolutely safe and absolutely beautiful. You will not regret it.
A few reasons why you may pay less in Colombia: (1) Material quality: Although you say they used the same materials they use in the U.S., how can you be sure? Even doctors within the U.S. use different materials one from another, causing some doctors to be cheaper or more expensive: There are various classes of titanium, various classes of ceramics and porcelains, various types of bone graft, etc. (2) You have zero consumer protections. It is all but impossible to take a foreign company or individual to court and compel them to fix any damage done or reimburse you for damages. This lack of risk on their end means they can charge less knowing if something goes wrong they will not have to pay for it. (3) Looser government regulations: Colombia does not have national or state dental licensure examinations like the U.S. They also do not require continuing education courses like the U.S. (4) Cost of living: The cost of living in Colombia is about 1/4th the cost of the U.S. So naturally, businesses can charge less for all sorts of services. This also happens in the United States. For example, the cost of an apartment in Manhattan is a lot more than one in rural New York. Businesses in areas with a lower cost of living generally can charge less and stay in business. In the end, there's no right or wrong answer, but there are some real reasons why you might pay less in a foreign country and it's not because you're being ripped off by a greedy dentist in the U.S.
@@SmileSystems3on6 oh please. A friend of mine is a dentist and he nor my family could believe I was going to Colombia for dental treatment. My logic was that 50 million people live in Colombia along with some of the most beautiful women in the world could it be possible that there dentists are any different then the USA. When I was finished I brought a implant to bring home with me so my dentist friend could look at it and examine the X-rays and the quality of work. The truth is he couldn’t believe his eyes. He said he’s glad his career is almost over and he will be retiring soon because after seeing the work I had done he can not see future generations getting there dental work in America especially with the review system we have these days. No matter where dentist are located if there reviews are awful they will be out of business. Now everyone in my family and everyone else who told me I was crazy for going to Colombia for dental work is asking me where the office is located that I went to. Even if I had millions of dollars I wouldn’t ever give a dentist 50k to 80k for something I can get while vacationing for a fraction of the cost. The internet era and RUclips has opened ordinary citizens eyes that we have been being completely ripped off for way to long. This was one for the team the citizens deserve affordable dental. A life and days of pain, insecurities and suffering because of bad teeth are over.
@@ohyea2723 our disagreement with your comment is simply that you stated doctors in the U.S. (and by association, our company) is "ripping people off". That's not true. Yes, dental work in Colombia might be cheaper, but as was explained above, there are reasons for this that have nothing to do with greed or trying to rip people off. Colombian dentists want to make money and have a successful business to the same degree as American dentists.
I have spent over 50,00 on a 4 tooth bridge. I had the bone grafts and sinus lift. I had them 3 years and had to get them removed because of bone loss. Now I am going to get hybrid dentures on the top. I had bone grafts and sinus lift surgery and will get the 6 implants in 6 months. That surgery was 23,00.00. It is extremely expensive.
I just pray I don't end up with dentures after all this pain, anxiety and money most of all. I've got a partial now on the top while my bone graft s grow It is so uncomfortable and makes me gag I'd hate dentures
lord hear my prayer I'm believing in God to have this procedure done I've suffered from periodontal disease and its caused me to loose almost all of my teeth.. these procedures are expensive and I can't afford it hopefully someone reading this God would allow to bless me with this procedure..Thanking you in advance
Montana Smith - Just found out the exact SAME procedure in Mexico costs LESS THAN HALF of American dentists. Go to dayodental.com - I’m checking it out myself. 👍
You do realize that periodontal disease is caused by diet (mostly)? There are many natural remedies, mostly involving eating pure foods. Costs nothing. Except an open mind and the willingness to try something different. Oregano Oil (just a drop in the mouth) is powerful stuff. The best toothpaste imaginable. After about 5 minutes its like your mouth is on fire but in a good way. A one ounce bottle lasts for months. A lot of experts believe the PH of the saliva is also vitally important.
DENTISTS are greedy mf'ers!! They want you pay for their education 10,000 X OVER!! AND, most of them got financial help to go to school. They certainly didn't pay anymore than an MD and you can get help with medical bills. BUT not dental. AND, YES , dental health is very important, but, they call it ' cosmetic '!! My ass, so people should go around toothless and sick?? Shameless jerks.
@@Melinda8162 To be fair ... the Insurance companies call it cosmetic ... not the dentists. Insurance doesn't want to pay for it. Dental insurance is generally not very good.
Leslie Smith I had a problem with my last root canal. Went to two different dentist I wanted that tooth pulled. They said it was in my sinus. So I go to an ENT. Had surgery and it wasn’t my sinus it was an abscess in that tooth. At that time I was still on my company insurance. Out of pocket for it was $1600, plus it was done at an outpatient, so their was the cost for putting me to sleep. At least with Medicare they paid their 80% and supplement will pay the other #20. But With Delta Dentist pays $1400 and that is it. The abscess could of got in my blood stream and can kill you. Felt like telling those two dentist they should of paid for my Out of pocket! Then had To find the dentist that pulled the rest of my teeth! I told you all the rest of my problems with me teeth!
I had all my teeth extracted when I was 19. I'm 76 now and the bone deterioration is so bad that I have had 5 dentists tell me my only hope is to have bone grafted from my hip to under my chin, give it a year to hold and grow more bone, then have implants made. I finally found a dentist to make me new uppers, but nobody would touch my lowers, where the most erosion is. I am talking over 25 years ago. At that time the cost was $20,000. So, here I am 25 years later with the same teeth. My biggest fear is that my car's airbag will go off and break my teeth. I would be toothless then for what's left of my life.
I read almost everyone's comment here but none of them made me sad as much as yours did. I am feeling so sorry for what you fear about. I have just had all my teeth extracted at the age of 51 and these days I am trying to learn how to cope with my instant denture. It is quite a new challenge for me and I love life challenges. For me, I really deserved to lose all my teeth because I have never took care of them so I am going to take the life punishments as I deserve. Your story is quite different though, from 19 to 76 is quite a long journey. I just prayed for you to have a safe and sound life for as long as you would live. I would say, life is not that impressive with or without natural teeth in the mouth.
@@Revolutionized. It goes genetically. It almost doesn't matter you took good care of your teeth or you haven't it goes by genetic. Lot black people from Africa who immigrate to Canada or USA has totally healthy teeth even most of them never had any access to dentists or carre stuff, tooth paste, flossing ect. Fixed teeth can be always recognized. I have two fixed teeth and can be easy seen filings on them while there are people whose teeth never been touched by dentist's drill or filled by filling. Teeth bone is different, some has more kalcium while some doesn't. It's same as for example cancer, some people get it while some don't even they have totally same lifestyle, drinking, smoking working on polluted area ect. Also, I was always wondering what kind of teeth these actors, singers, celebrities have in their mouth. If bones loses by age lot's of them are very old but still have too white perfectly looking teeth. How bone loss doesn't affect them. All of them have luminaries over their teeth. How teeth under luminaries don't get decoy after while so they have to take luminaries off to fix tooth. If person put bridge it can keep maximum 22 to 25 years and starts loose.
Nope! Did the over dentures with implants and they failed! Thank god i was still able to wear the dentures with denture adhesive. If i had known that in the first place, i would never have done the implants.

Hey there Jose, how are you. I'm sorry to hear the pain you're in. What you need to do, is find a very good dentist. The best if possible. It might be expensive, but worth it in the end. Plus look to alternative medicine. Water or juice fasting, cleansing diets, good nutrition with vitamin supplements, have helped a lot of people. And don't forget to pray. It can't hurt. P.S. Don't give up. Many blessings to you. Regards, Mario.
Hi Anita. The 3 on 6 is $15k per arch, or $30k for a full mouth. We have financing options from $350/mo per arch with good credit. Extractions and bone grafting are extra. We frequently have people travel from out of state to our offices. We usually try to coordinate it so that you can do the consultation and scans one day, and the implants, with the temporary teeth placed the next day. I'm happy to get you in touch with the office manager there to help with a consultation and coordinate travel and hotel. Let me know if you have any questions or feel free to give us a call at 888-877-5790.
if you freeze frame at 6:59 you see the flaw in the positioning of her front teeth. And why don't these videos show gum line if they say they are natural looking? That is where the rubber hits the road, if the gums rest naturally around the teeth.
They certainly do wrap around the gums! Please check out our latest content here and especially on our @3on6 RUclips channel to see our patients amazing results!
Hello, we do offer in house financing with monthly payment options. We would love to hear from you, if you would like to give us a call at 1-888-877-5790.
Are you kidding me I guarantee you it is so unaffordable wished I could afford it but who's got that kind of money anymore love to have my confidence back that's thrown out the window happy for those who can't afford it I'm sure they do a wonderful job.
I certainly agree re his comment about self esteem and having the confidence to attend certain events as I used to. Now, I just don't go. It's really too bad, I know I'm missing out on a more vibrant social life. But, I'm just not in the same league, and it's all about money, shame! I could probably manage one half. One implant $875. so, say $450. I need six $2700.
The fact that you can’t find even a price range tells me they are freaking expensive. Quite frankly dentures aren’t that bad. They are not expensive after initial purchase. Ive had mine for 15 years; the same pair. I’ve needed no fixes and they stay in my mouth without glue of any kind.
When people have to finance teeth the cost is way to much...when you have 65 million retired people and almost half the nation at the poverty level do really believe this an option...I would love to see a dentist like those of years past..did things at an affordable cost and because they cared..today it's always about the numbers and not the person...
We wish it could be cheaper too. Unfortunately we don't control most of the costs that go into this (titanium, licensing, registration, anesthesia, zirconia, insurance, schooling, etc.). We do however help our patients find affordable financing options. Please give us a call at 801-590-8694.
Can we get the look of our existing teeth? I see the video mentioned having full control of the design, though what's that called? How can I get my dentist to take impression of my existing teeth, so that in the future they have something to design after? I love the way my teeth look shape wise, so hoping I can keep that for like ever.
Hi, you can get the look of your existing teeth. You can have impressions done or most dentists can go off of a picture of your current smile to design your bridges. If you have anymore questions don’t hesitate to give us a call at 1-888-877-5790.
Over here in Europe (UK)! We all go to Turkey for our Turkey Teeth 🦷 👌 probably end up falling out in 5 years time, but to be honest I haven’t meet anyone yet who has had any problems. Costs around 3/5k for a full set!
At 4:55 they still haven't mentioned cost. Prohibitive to people like me that have dentures and have had them many years. So there would be bone grafts as well. OMG I would give anything for a 3 on 6 before I die and I'm almost 69, so maybe in my next life I'll have the real things with another chance to take care of them. Lucky people .
We don't mention cost in the video because prices can change on materials and with economics changes (inflation). Currently it's around $20k per arch ($40k for the full mouth). Give us a call at 801-590-8694 and we can answer all your questions.
It all depends on the lab and how they make the dentures. I use to work in dentistry for over 20yrs. Several implants are recommended to keep dentures more stable but extremely expensive and not everyone has the bone structure for implants
I completely agree with you, decided against implants due to metal allergy and cost. However I found a clinic that specializing in creating the best Dentures established 1978 and glowing reviews. Was scared to death with Dentures but now feel better knowing there are different classes of Dentures.

Sadly to say this is not a perfect world where every 1 has perfect teeth. Teeth do go bad maybe genetic or meds causes them to or accidents. Not every 1 is as fortunate.
@@cindymorgan3072 Very true Cindy. However that affects a very small proportion of people. Just look at what children are eating and drinking from a, young age. Carbonated drinks, sugary sweets, ice cream, chocolate, the list goes on and on. In moderation this is ok, the reality is they don't moderate. Then later it's tobacco on top. Smoking absolutely destroys teeth and gums. People will always tend to blame anything but themselves. Aside from the small percentage of people with genetic weakness or problems as a result of a disease, the vast majority are just not taking care of themselves. The average American has lost 12 teeth by the time they're 50, 69% of all adults between 35 and 44 have lost at least some permanent teeth, and over 20 million are using dentures, plus millions, exact figure isn't known, have implants. That huge number has nothing to do with medication or genetics, it's the terrible diet, lack of oral hygiene, and failure to visit the dentist once or twice a year that's responsible for most of that. We need to start with the kids. The stuff that's marketed to them is the cause of bad teeth, obesity and an epidemic of type 2 diabetes in people as young as 18 years old. The US is by far the unhealthiest developed nation on earth, followed closely, strangely enough by the UK. If the root problems of diet are not solved people are doomed to an unhealthy short life. Ironically the medications that cause oral problems are often drugs used to fight diabetes and cancer. It's a vicious circle.
Please l have taken good care of my teeth all of my adult life and my father took great care of them before that.. l came down with breast cancer in 2013 after radiology and chemo therapy l then was diagnosed with follicular lymphoma. Which is not curable in my case. Now 2022 and l now have 5 and 1/2 teeth left in my mouth and a terrible fitting upper denture. I walked out of the dentist office when l first tried to get dentures because of his office girl who said l did not make a payment when l did. It was the day he pulled all of my top teeth. Went to another dentist and had the upper arch made. Tried to talk to the first dentist but he refused to speak to me. I lost almost all of my teeth because of cancer treatment. But most people already pre judge me of why l have no teeth.
Of course, and I do sympathise with you. There are situations including an illness or genetic condition that causes tooth loss. However 57% of Americans who are ages 65 to 74 wear some form of dentures 51% of Americans ages 55 to 64 have either full or partial dentures and an incredible 29%of Americans ages 45 to 55 wear dentures. 19% aged 18-44 have dentures. That's nothing to do with disease or genetics. Those figures are horrendous and are mostly down to bad diet, sugary drinks, candy, sweetened cereals, and not visiting the dentist regularly. For most a change of diet, regular brushing and flossing, and a once or twice yearly visit to a dentist will keep their teeth healthy. I'm over 60, our mum brought us as soon as the first permanent tooth erupted. I and my younger brother and older sister have all our teeth. I've a crown on one that got broken when I had a climbing accident. Most people will keep their teeth it they spend a little time looking after them. I'm not criticising you, it wasn't your fault.
With the 3 0n 6, your not adding any artificial pink gum/bone to fill out the face. Most people who are looking to get the all on four already have major bone loss. With the all on four, the dentist can artificially replace that bone, helping to fill out the face and increasing the vertical dimension of occlusion. I understand the 3 0n 6 help's preserve bone and stimulate bone growth, but this seem's more of an advantage for someone who is going straight from extraction's. In my opinion, these model's still have denture face and you can hardly see the teeth when they speak! Again, this is my opinion!
Everyone’s mouth is different. Many, especially older people, do not always “show their teeth when they speak.” This is not due to the state of the art, brilliant design and affordable option the 3on6 procedure Dr. Roberts has invented and offers @ UtahSmileClinic. @@crooning4leftovers125 And you think older people don't want their teeth to show or that if they pay thousand's of dollar's like everyone else they shouldn't expect longer visible teeth??? @@creativebang7901 I would recommend doing it! I got mine yesterday (11/21/19) and have zero complaints. Bone graft, extractions, and implants in one day. I thought I was watching a "before" segment when the 3-o-6ers were talking on camera. I thought they had no teeth in, to emphasize the finished product when revealed. I was very disappointed when they smiled and I was able to see the procedure had been completed. The tiny teeth and sunken cheeks aren't acceptable as a finished product for me. I don't need false teeth yet, but it's good to see new technics coming about that help people that do need them. The thing is this though, why does it have such a weird name, 3 on 6 what's that about? Why not call it a nice name that is welcoming so it's something that inspires confidence. But yes it looks interesting and could be life changing for some people I think. Just a thought though, natural teeth tend to fall out if you get knocked in the chops they get knocked out, usually before damage to the actual jaw, with these false things being put in the mouth I wonder what would happen if someone got a knock in the jaw would they snap off, fall out or would your jaw get ripped open where the screws go in?
The name "3 on 6" refers to the technical design of the restoration: three bridges seated onto six implants. In terms of how they compare to real teeth, it's actually quite similar. Implants integrate into the bone in a very similar way as natural teeth but are also susceptible to damage from impacts in the same way as normal teeth.
@@smileclinicusa That sounds good, as I said I don't need false teeth yet, but if they perform the same as normal teeth during an impact then for sure they are much better than the other things on offer. They sound absolutely brilliant, so the guy who came up with them needs to get them and the technique around the world before someone starts copying it. I hope it makes it.
I believe that anyone should be rewarded for their work, but it has become impossible for the average person to be able to afford something like this, ESPECIALLY senior citizens (you know.....the ones without teeth!) who live on Social Security ONLY! Alright if you have enough bone. In the UK implants can cost anything from £1500 to £3500 per implant depending on where you get the work done. So if you go to one of the top dentists in London a whole mouth can cost £60,000 depending on whether you need a bone graft and sedation.
Exactly, I just had the scans done which by the way cost 300 dollars. The result is bone grafting is needed and some other problem with nerves where one of the implants would go. Dr, said it would need to be done by a dental surgeon. The price is way to much for me to get done. I have to laugh because I was told by my denturist that it would probably cost 12k and after seeing the periodontist the price is well over 20k. These are Canadian dollars as I am in Canada.
I'm always amazed how there's gender reassignment surgery, all kinds of hormone replacement stuff but when it comes to teeth the options are grim and so costly its insane
Ha ha 😂😂 true

Ask your dentists about mini implants. They are fairly inexpensive and work very well. Especially for patients with severe bone loss.
Mini implants require surgery just like standard implants, the main difference is they are less strong and more likely to have problems. We prefer to alter where the implants are placed rather than place a weaker and less stable implant. Give us a call at 801-590-8694

These should be made affordable for everyone! That is the reality that needs to be implemented! Dentistry is a business!

Yep, for the most part illegitimate businesses
In reality, this IS the cheaper option. Up until the 3 on 6, the average permanent full mouth restoration (All-on-4) was $80k. Our 3 on 6 system has cut that price in half and many doctors doing things the old way are unhappy that we are driving prices down. We understand that it's not affordable for everyone. The 3 on 6 is the best permanent smile restoration available but for those who want something cheap, there are other options such as dentures and implant supported dentures.
@@smileclinicusa Sad that you actually thnk that. I really feel sorry for you.
Cheaper than all on 4
I need help.

As with all implants, the cost is prohibitive and too few people will ever get to benefit
John Bee you didn't lie about that!
Please dental professionals perfect this so everyone can benefit from this procedure. Even those on a fixed income. Somehow.
Notice the vehicles a Doctor drives compared to what Dentists drive .......quite a difference! Way overpaid
Answer is Mexico.
The cost outweighs the benefits, if there are any.
Fly here and have it done !

We wish it were the case. Unfortunately dental insurance is rarely worth the price you pay for it. That said, insurance is designed so they win in the long run by making you pay more premiums than you would if you just paid for the treatment yourself.
@@smileclinicusa very good point, these insurance companies are VILE BLOOD SUCKING PARASITES!!!

Appreciate the response Larry. You aren't wrong, in the sense that sometimes the 3 on 6 isn't the best solution when there has been significant bone loss. First thing the dentist said to me why did you not take care of your teeth, which I felt like slapping his face, I've had 9 root canals, wore braces from my late 30s to my mid 40. Lost every tooth that had a root canal. Then he proceed to tell me I was not qualified for dental implants, and he said first of all at that time, you are 65 years old, second you been on bone dentist meds and that breaks your gums down. he pulled my teeth, and mad me some 3-g teeth, the teeth were to big, the gums were larger than the teeth
And I could not even shut my mouth. One other thing he was going to pick the color of my teeth, and I told him no sir your not, I am paying for these and I will be picking out my teeth. Took them home and mailed them back to him the next day. He had took a new impression and was going to have a new set made for me. Im 59& because of medications ive been taking for nearly 20yrs my teeth started turning to chalk & decaying at the gum line sbout 3yrs ago. i had my last 6extracted a few mos ago. i havent smiled & very seldom speak to people in public. i havent even had anyone in my home since May 2019. its embarrassing & people are cruel when you have bad or missing teeth i might look like im 80but . at least i wont ever have a dam toothache again. i wish i could afford even a top plate but i live on a fixed income. these are beautiful teeth on this video but totally overpriced. im depressed now more than ever 💔
I understand. I need teeth for medical reasons. Since my life is in danger, you would think insurance would pay for it. I want to smile too. I lost them because of chemo. Well, they are rotten. I am so embarrassed.
I know the feeling, I’m sorry , I know that feeling
So sorry! Why is dentistry so stinking expensive? I'm close in age to you and have all my teeth but they are not in good shape at all. Is there are a way you could get some cheap dentures?

This is a very cool treatment. But why is there no patient journey vlogs or updates. I can't find anything online regarding someone's experience with the 3 on 6 that's not provided by the clinic.
I mean, I could? I've already gone thru the implant stage and am healing but this is something I could kinda do if wanted?
Maybe because it's too expensive to even talk about.???

My experience has been great. Dr. Robert's and his team really are amazing. I had zero pain after extraction/implants
I opted to be put under during the process and if it's possible for you, I highly recommend it. I was in dentures for about a year due to Covid/financial situations. However, they are now moving immediately to the screw it temporarily during the healing process.
I CANNOT be any any happier with the procedure.

I've known for a long time that I needed major dental work. Unfortunately my dental insurance offered 50% of major dental work. So a root canal cost $3000 of which cost me $1500. For one tooth. But the dental implants cost over $30,000. They will finance it with something of value close to the price. Your house! So you will be paying your mortgage, and the $30.000 loan. That's outrageous!0
I had a tooth that needed to be pulled. The Dentist wanted almost $500. I am retired, supporting myself and my out of work kid. I waited until it got really loose and pulled it out myself. Problem solved.
I think we need a National Dental Plan. Some people go to Mexico and get it done for half the cost.

I cannot see how this is defendable, - there is 3D printing which i guess could lower the price. - i live in a country with free healthcare but dental is not free and very expensive. ..... and i find it offensive, they got a free Education. - they should give back and there should be a limit on how much they could charge. - but they talk with eachother, so competition is not a possibility because they then risk to be expelled from the group of doctors who has a clinic. -
Morten Jensen I totally agree with you!
Over the years I have spent $100,000. After crowns 3times and $40,000. For upper only new crowns so I could have teeth when I’m older! The dentist put them in with gum disease, and EVERYONE fell out in 3yrs!!! No lawyers will take dental lawsuits! Now I have no money AND NO TEETH! They totally robbed me!
With a smile!!!! 😩
It IS affordable to VERY affordable.
Just not in the US of Trump.
Just across the border you'll find extremely well-educated Dentists, many with a Ph.D., who will charge you just a fraction.
I have partial since college. Wearing upper and lower dentures when I was 55 and my bone are receding. I suffered since and it's sooo painful on my gums. I stopped complaining to my dentist.
Sad I wish you could find a better option, you shouldn’t have to suffer ❤️
May i say … of course anyone who has had any kind of teeth extracted.. feel so uncomfortable even affects the way we feel about ourselves.
@@smileclinicusa
So, was this your response to patients before implants were available? Did you say this then?
@@TheBunky2008 the first dental implant was placed in 1965. Smile Clinic has been around for less than 20 years. Also in 1965 they advertised the health benefits of smoking cigarettes. Information and technology changes and better options become available, not something to be upset about.
@@smileclinicusa I was just at the dentist and they really pushed the all on four and the fact it had to be removed and cleaned and he wanted 50 grand was a big no for me. I’m willing to invest in my teeth of course. I want something permanent and natural looking and feeling. Implants and veneers are what I’m wanting. Real looking and feeling teeth.
I’ve looked at Dr Mcfaddon in Dallas. He’s extremely well educated and trained. Definitely not cheap. Hopefully I can get in.
Exactly THIS.
Gotta love our capitalism. Socialism booo? Or so say the elite and war mongers.

I’m used to my normal denture. I feel strange without them. The comfortable. Can’t afford the ridiculous price
A few reasons why you may pay less in Colombia:
(1) Material quality: Although you say they used the same materials they use in the U.S., how can you be sure?
Colombian dentists want to make money and have a successful business to the same degree as American dentists.

hi when you do please keep me informed thank you
You do realize that periodontal disease is caused by diet (mostly)? There are many natural remedies, mostly involving eating pure foods. Costs nothing. Except an open mind and the willingness to try something different. Oregano Oil (just a drop in the mouth) is powerful stuff. The best toothpaste imaginable. After about 5 minutes its like your mouth is on fire but in a good way. A one ounce bottle lasts for months. A lot of experts believe the PH of the saliva is also vitally important.
Any dental work will break the bank.

Well look at the bright side while saving up we won't be eating steak.
Air bags are pretty soft, be careful to don't knock on face by something, that could be worst.
What happened when you were 19 to have all your teeth extracted? You were very young for that.
Teeth problems can really make one miserable.

I’ve had the procedure performed and EVERYONE can see my new teeth when I talk! I feel truly blessed to have found Dr. Roberts! His #1 goal is patient satisfaction! Referring family & friends. 5 STARS!!!!!
@@crooning4leftovers125 And you think older people don't want their teeth to show or that if they pay thousand's of dollar's like everyone else they shouldn't expect longer visible teeth??? The reason older people don't sow there teeth is usually because they can't until they are given the option to!
@@crooning4leftovers125 I'm thinking of getting this, can you share your journey with the 3-on-6?
@@creativebang7901 I would recommend doing it! I got mine yesterday (11/21/19) and have zero complaints. Bone graft, extractions, and implants in one day. I am in a denture while everything is healing. Once it is all healed in roughly three months, I will be getting the permanents and I cannot be more excited.
I want my healthful appearance back. When I'm approached by someone around town, they don't ask about the chemo or cancer, they ask "you know where to get crank?" I'm over that. I'll continue with my All-on-4/6 investigation. The results appear more authentic of my pre-cancer face and smile.
I failed my bronze acting exam because my dentures flew out. Yes it got a laugh but this has gone on since I was a child. I had to have what they termed as a 3 in 1 operation. I was forced to wear a brace as a child the metal I was allergic to. I was very ill on numerous occasions because Doctors would not take my metal allergy serious. I am allergic to all metal except gold silver. I nearly died after having surgical steel clips to close my operation.
The implants may not stay in. I got 2 implants years ago and 1 came out after a couple of months.
I HAD A DENTIST PULL ALL MY TEETH ...EVEN WHEN I TOLD HIM I HAD NO MONEY .... ITS BEEN OVER 4 YEARS ...IM IN A MESS I FINALLY GOT SOME MONEY TOGETHER BUT HAVING A HARD TIME FIGURING OUT WHAT I NEED ...THANK U
Give us a call at 888-877-5790. Happy to see if we can help.
I no longer have my dentures. I can't go in public and can barely look in mirror. I'm on SSDI now and can barely make it month to month. My depression and anxiety are thru the roof even with medication.
I'm in the same boat. Nothing I can do!
This video was filmed on my 68th birthday.! I despareatly need dental replacements in my whole mouth and the cost for a low income disabled person is just not attainable. I wish I could smile again .There just is no money for even the barest care. I'm so miserable.
Call your County Health Department. They can pull your bad teeth. They charge based on income. Get dentures online at Easy Dentures full set is $400. I got my teeth pulled and have my dentures. My husband and are low income couple.
Sok....I've had full upper for 7yrs now and noone can even tell...I'm due for a new set and they're going to look even better.😄 Besides I've gotten use to em....AND think of it THIS WAY....It Is A BIG Advantage NOT Having Teeth Sometimes if U know what I mean 😉
That's fine if you have a normal roof in your mouth. I have a tarus and will have to get it removed if I need to get dentures. More pain and money.
I didn’t have to sell my house, but i did a cash out refi of $63,000. At 2.6% didn’t add too much to payment
I get my all on 4s in two days
When you get your procedure to be covered by Medicare, let me know. I won't hold my breath!
I had a flipper on my top arch. Long story short. 5 years later, sick as a dog with infection, all my teeth had to be removed. Not from neglect either. Shotty Dentist. Not this one. I now have a mail order denture that I'm very happy with. It is a full denture, but I will be getting a horse shoe denture soon. I want my gums to heal properly.
That's what I want is the horse shoe but either one dentist don't do it or the other one says I don't want it cause I would have to have much more glue 🙄
And at affordable prices .I know what your talking about
What’s a mail order denture?
I wish I could afford this😭 I badly needed this. I can't even smile because my teeth were so bad💔😭
My teeth are all jacked up I smile like I am taking a picture.
If you have Medicaid, depending on your state, you can get free dentures.
Ive have a couple of friends who I've known for years .. and only the other week I was talking about dentures because I need some partial dentures.. they both said . They'v had dentures for over 20yrs and they don't know they'v got them in ..
This is awesome suprised no else is doing this I think it is same price as all on 4 .. without the gum line and acrylic. Will be Checking out financing . Thanks for sharing
Cool so ya don't need money?..ummm, if they don't mention the price?...you can bet there NOT affordable!...frickin can't stand dentists !
I agree with you! Dentist have gotten so Greedy! I worked in a dental lab making teeth by hand. The dentist gets charged $100 for a crown & marks it up to $1,500 !
Now days they have a machine make the teeth which is even cheaper for the dentist.
I am literally dying from my teeth dumping bacteria into my system, just can't afford a lot, can do some but not all and the pain from rotten teeth are horrific! The dentists that did composites, crowns are all falling apart, I am so depressed!
After looking at this presentation four times, I still don't have a clue as to what the average cost would be.
I would hardly give thought to purchasing a new car if I didn't at least know what the "jacked up" sticker price was.
Hi Alex! The price for a full upper or lower arch of 3 on 6 is $15k, or can be financed from around $350/mo. Give us a call if we can help you set up a free consultation 888-877-5790.
I agree with all the comments below! And Empathize with all , I am and have been in the same boat and experienced the same on all counts!!!! I'm glad people are starting to use their voice on this horrendously abused subject of lack of care and used care salesmen called dentistry!!!!
Pray for change!!!!
Amen!!!
I will forever be watching these videos and crying feeling hopeless. How can I even get a job when I feel so gross looking because of all my missing teeth and the few I do have are going soon im sure.. I'm only 34 years old and I screwed up my whole life by not taking care of my teeth.
Hi Danielle, we're sorry you feel hopeless, but we want to let you know that there IS hope. Give us a call and let's talk about your situation and what we can do for you. 801-590-8694
