  • In this video, I cross the border into Ghana. My original plan was to ride to the north of Ivory Coast first, so I could still explore a little of the country. However, violence is spreading from Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger and the north of Ivory Coast is therefore not safe any longer either. So I figured it was better to cross the border into Ghana, and visit a small stilt village on a lake, called Nzulezo.

Mysterious and increasingly dangerous place for white western people. The reason these guys in the video said this is because they know what is happening in their county. who knows how many white people have ended their lives their. it just doesnt fit the news narrative.

Seeing that lake and the fresh water drinking/sanitary situation reminded me about the Bilharzia, and really nasty worm derived disease, in fact another Ozzie round the world rider picked it up from a lake in east Africa. Takes a long time to get cured. Our maids job first thing in the morning in Dar es Salaam and Entebbe was to boil up some of the tap water and then let it slowly pass through a stone filter, then placed in the fridge so we always had some clean drinking water, my mother was fairly paranoid about this, constantly reminding me and my sister not to drink any other water outside.

My thoughts exactly, Africans are the nicest people you would ever encounter in your life time and they are very respectful and welcoming to strangers/visitors. We that live in the west have a very bad misconception of that continent. Yes there are atrocities going on in some parts due to government corruption but as we all have seen from her videos, she’s avoiding those parts and even the locals are warning her where not to go.

Yes but the dangers are still too great to do this kind of stuff she has to be prepared and by prepared I mean prepared to defend herself, she looks well prepared for travel but I don’t see any preparation for battle only the internet and that am afraid will not save her you don’t go into a gun fight with knives or even worse pepper spray a motorcycle and a camera that’s just being too naïve to be brave is good but to wise is even greater.
I lived in those areas for many years you come out looking too fancy plus you look different you already a prey it’s just a matter of when and with no friends within these grounds you just like a cricket meaning she will not last seriously

It will take a month of Sundays but now go back and watch the other seasons. when I saw her going through Iran by herself I was in disbelief, but once again everyone she encountered was friendly and helpful. She is very intelligent, far more than many can imagine.

    • @geobun2734
      @geobun2734 Год назад

@@jasonzerbini2375 am definitely going to have a look at other episodes, when I see her I don’t think it’s intelligence that’s getting her through I think it’s more like courage, which is fine by me but even being courageous has it’s limits it’s better to wise than courageous and wisdom acted upon will land you far safely in the end than any courage…. So looks vulnerable, intelligent maybe that’s one way to look at it am not saying she’s not, but I have seen these stuff happening before when that times run out something happens and it’s over like a flash, all her viewers will all pour their sympathy and move on the next day…
I have lived in Africa for a long long time, it’s not luck that get you by , it’s a mixture of all Aka wisdom, same goes for all the dangerous places on earth.
To me when I look at her she looks very vulnerable, very we throw all praises on how smart she and all that’s all good but time has it’s on way of throwing it’s verdict.
I know it looks like she’s bringing the world with her because she’s filming but that’s just a misconception one I bet she rely as a side comfort , but it takes two seconds to take that comfort back to reality, the minute that camera is kicked off the world is gone, seen it before many times.
She’s courageous no doubt but as I said earlier wisdom is far better, want to go to war? Don’t go without your weapons because you suddenly feel courageous, courage never lasts it comes and goes, but if you can carry your Armor in any battle you will be ready for a fight…

Since I discovered your channel a few days ago, I can't stop watching your adventures through Africa. All these local guys are so nice and helpful ❤ Complete strangers tow you with the motorbike in the pouring rain. The warmth of the people is completely different than here in Central Europe, where many would simply turn away. And you Noraly, you're the queen with the blue eyes. The way you interact with the locals is just great. And your sense of humor gives me always a smile on my face. Go girl and take care 🙏🏻❤

My first trip to Africa was to a small rural town in Kenya in 1989. I took a Polaroid camera with me and took photos of the kids seeing their photo develop right in front of their eyes. I can only imagine how amazing it would be for the villagers to see their village from your drone footage.

Your videos bring back memories Noraly, from 40 years ago. Aged 23 had no direction in life so went on one of the early arrranged overland trips across Africa in 4x4 ex-army Bedford lorry taking in 10 countries over 4 1/2 months. It was early days and the small group of 12 of us in total sat around camp fires each night deciding which countries we'd like to go through on the way back to UK.
Stopped off at some amazing places seeing Mountain Gorillas in Rwanda, Pygmy tribes in Zaire and Africa's garden of Eden, Ngorongoro in Tanzania, where animals are trapped in a16km wide crater.
Came back truly inspired and went on to start up own successful business and carry on travelling. When you see millions of people struggling to eat and stay alive, yet still smiling and being happy, it is truly humblinng. It makes you appreciate life and to be grateful for what you have as well as being kind and generous to all those around you.
Would reccommend it to anyone to take on the challange and return a better person and enjoy life to the full.

Noraly, I have been following you on RUclips for several years now, enough time to be able to observe and to comment with confidence, that you are careful to discplay the positive aspects of different country, culture and people. You are so nice to find the good in far, strange, at times scary and challenging places with such ease. Trully remarkable and comendable. You are gracious to others and respectfu, avoiding to comment on what is obvious that we can see in your videos. You appreciate the food, even when it does not look very appetizing, and what we see is a positive experience, at least is what we see posted on your videos... You never get sick for eating or drinking some bad food or water.... in the most challenging time there seems to me you sort of have a guardian watching over you.... I don't know how much time you have left doing these kinds of trips or where you wil go next but I know one thing, wherever you go the experience will be similar! Thank you for teaching us all.... Bravo!!

I love everything about this video. It's like some kind of fantasy unfolding, but it's real people, real places, and real interactions. I'm blown away by so many details.
The cleanliness of the water in that village was a sight to behold. How much respect this entire village has for the natural state of things is something I wish everyone shared. It was so clean! The water -- so clean! There are hardly any places on Earth where humans inhabit that are so clean, no plastic waste in sight, and green plants thriving!!! It's so rare now in 2024 to see that! May this village keep living in harmony with nature forever. I love their traditional woven fishing baskets. (My country has those, too! They look similar, and some people still weave them.) The hand-carved canoe. Everything you showed was like something out of a wonderful dream. I'm so glad you are getting to live this, and witness such harmony and wholesomeness. Thanks for sharing it with us.

you don't steal what you can't use. Imagine stealing a bike where you have to import parts if it breaks, also imagine you are the only one with such a bike in the whole country, then you will become a very popular thief. Also in my experience for someone to steal from you alot of planing needs to happen before hand, e.g if you live in a place and keep showing of your bike, you are likely to have it stolen, it's very hard to steal from someone without first planing on what you are about to loot.
