And actually, the shell is stronger than what most people give it credit for. Most of the integrity the egg is there, which is why I can do so much to it in the first place. Actually, no I don't. You can of course, but I personally find that to me it takes away from the beauty of the shell itself. This design overall does not have a tremendous amount of large openings, so most of the integrity of the eggshell is still there. This makes a huge difference in the fragility of the egg too. If you are worried about breakage of the shell, I will sometimes coat the shell using a kleenex and liquid superglue. This method works, but you have to be very aware of where your fingers are and where that glue is. So, just a suggestion, if you wish to try that. Sending hugs! :)
