- I'm a big fan of the Zebra Sarasa Grand gel pen ( amzn.to/2yOxeL0 ) so I was really impressed when I saw this Royal Silver Edition go on sale for $16. I picked one up immediately and have not been disappointed.
I'm not sure if the silver will really come out on video, but wow, this pen looks great. It really strikes me as having a Star Wars' Captain Phasma vibe, due to the bold use of silver with a striking opposing color (Phasma was red, this is blue).

Watching your videos for awhile now and enjoy finding a site that does reviews on ballpoints/gel pens. I've made several purchase decisions based on some of your reviews. Good work.
I finally found one of my own for like 14 bucks; there are some new one that are going to be released--orange, brown, a different gold one, sky light blue, a glossy red, and off color brass.
@@unsharpen Try Amazon Japan. You may need to change the language and also use Google translate to guide you through. Once there put in "Zebra Sarasa Grand." If you need to translated into Japanese, use the translation website.
Can’t find one anywhere but really want one. Please share if you find one. I love these. Hate the clip though. I swap the clip out.

I like the Zebra Sarasa because it doesn't smear on my hand and I'm left handed.
The black Sarasa Grand you have is an older version. I've seen several from 2016 and they have the raised clip, just like yours. I have two, bought in 2018, and they have a lower profile, like the silver one you have.
That clip has a 2018 Prius look about it.
Nah. The 2018 Prius is decently sporty looking. It's the older 2008 Prius that looks like a balloon wedge

It would seem I've changed my mind about the all silver Grand. I'm a nut for sets and have the majority of colors. Thought I should have the silver as well. I've branched out to other vendors within other countries which now include China and Japan. Saw the comments posted at your "My Top Pens of 2018" video and found one suggesting the Amazon.com Japan website. So nice to have choices which is one of the reasons I enjoy your videos.
Hey Sal. I'm not digging the silver; it's such a common color. I did find it in baby pink, white, light blue, and green at a site named AliExpress. Wish these colors were available in the U.S. making them more easily obtainable. Thanks for the posting!
Initially, I wasn't impressed with the silver. Maybe the pictures didn't do it justice. Looking at it up close up, it is very nice as you describe. Thanks for the video!
My take on the original clip is to facilitate clipping onto larger notebooks (maybe??)

Sal, where did you get this pen? I didn't see the model number in the comment section. My brother is desperate to get one, and we've looked everywhere online. Even if it's sold out, we can keep checking the site to see if they come back in stock.

Thanks Sal! I’m using the dark blue with a black refill now. I wonder with a modification to the refill could I get the refill into a better pen
