Wow! First post of yours I've seen and superior job and great to have the kid's critiquing the poppers at the end! Yummy! I'm looking for a healthier popper recipe to try making them for the first time and this is pretty healthy - especially if I use lower fat cheeses and a bit less cheese in the filling! Checking out your other posts. Tasty veggie and plant based recipes are always good options. Best from Colorado!
Love me some jalapeño poppers (cream cheese filled not cheddar cheese bc ewww) I’m so glad this is a vegan recipe. I’m a fake vegan and like to find healthier options when making my favorite snacks.
Yes, sir! But I would recommend just freezing it without the batter and breading. That way, you can take them out of the freezer, dip them in the batter and breading and fry! The breading can get soggy after thawing.
I know. 8 oz. to 8 lbs and then 10 oz to 10 lbs! I need to think before I speak! Let me know how it turns out for you! Thanks for watching. And hope you subscribe. :)
...the spiciness comes from the pith, not the seeds... If the batter comes off when you roll the jalapeño because you're holding the tip of it, don't touch the pepper- only touch the stem. Cover everything in batter like shown, then move the breadcrumbs/ panko crumbs on and around the pepper instead of rolling it.
spice tolerance has mostly to do with how much you eat spicy foods. Lots of kids grow up eating spicy food so therefore have a high tolerance. if you want to try more foods that are spicy, try eating something barely spicy and slowly eating more spicy food over time and you will have a high tolerance.
@@lienbijs1205Not huge things but more adversity with different foods and flavors, some studies have linked high testosterone to spice tolerance as well
@@OtherSide- Ok, I don't need that testosterone, thank you😁. I am a middle aged woman and identify myself as a middle aged woman too. If it could help to be less middle aged I would eat it pure in huge amounts, every day.
Best part was your little munchkins enjoying them. They look soooo good!
thank you! This was super duper helpful
Loved hearing what the kids think! I definitely like the batter better than the other way of doing this.

The lil' food critic at the end was too cute.

Even though I could clearly see it wasnt, I still screamed omg at 10lbs of cream cheese😂 all jokes aside looks nice. i have to try it
I had the same reaction! I knew that she must have meant 10 oz, but I still gasped!
First one I’ve seen with spices in the cheese, looks very good!
I can freeze these over night before frying?

Always makes me laugh that vegans are anti-egg use, but have problem with yeast. Still appreciate a way to look outside the box with recipes.
She is vegetarian. Not vegan.
This looks amazingly delicious but unfortunately it's a lot of work
lol 10 pounds!! 8 pounds is fine but you like to use 10 :) I do like your flour mixture, definitly doing that.

Never ate jalapeno because I thought it is too hot and I don't like hot food. But now I even see children eating jalapeno?

@@tails5388 I could do that but what is the benefit of getting a higher tolerance?

The vege went soft, not crunchy.
10 pounds of cream cheese! That sure is a lot and how can 10 pounds fit in that bowl? Looks like maybe 10 ounces.
You are right. Its 10 oz!!!
No.no. using a spoon is hard way. Get utensil that does this. This is hard way.
Her technique is unwatchable.
