This for sure is THE BEST jalapeño popper recipe I’ve ever tried. I’ve been using Craig’s video recipe for years now and it’s a staple that never fails. The double breading is the secret key. Thank you for making the video
Craig, I have made these twice and they are fantastic. I have found about 15-18 minutes for my oven works well. Thanks for the recipe and video. Cheers!
Great. Here in Tejas we say jalapaino. That is the pronunciation. No matter how you pronounce it the things are good no matter cheese stuffed, bacon wrapped, batter fried, breaded and oven cooked or shrimp stuffed. It is on my menu for tomorrow night right here in West Texas. Thanks for the video. Love 'em.
My wife does some that are not breaded halves and fills them with cream cheese, ground sausage, mozzarella, and parmesan. OMG they are awesome. Thanks for sharing Craig, I am going to have the wifey make these. Looks very good.
YES these are exactly what I was looking for!! Every other video was not was I was going for but this is it!! Thank you I’m so excited to try these, I just picked some fresh jalapeños from my moms plants!! 🥰🥰🥰
Just tried your recipe (with a few tweaks), and my poppers turned out great! First time, and they were just marvelous! Thank you Craig for your video!! I originally scrolled through your video without sound, and skipped the part about adding paprika and onion powder. I also cooked them for about 10 minutes (give or take) in an air fryer at 400 degrees (highest temp mine goes to). Initially I cooked them for about 3 minutes and noticed them drying out, so I shook and sprayed them with some oil (olive). I kept going in to check on them every few minutes until the cream cheese began to pop out of them. Gave them 2 more minutes and viola! Thank you so much! Next time I'll try adding some salt and paprika, as the "seasoned" bread crumbs I used didn't give much salt to them.
Very similar to how I've made them in the past, - they were awesome - except I didn't do the double breadcrumb coating. I haven't made them in about 3 years, and now I really want to make them again. I've since bought an air fryer, and may give using that a try.
Update: I just whipped up some of these and popped them in the oven. Upon starting to bread these suckers, I very quickly decided that there is absolutely no way that I was going to coat these more than once. I admire your patience!
Thank you for this! I’ve been looking for a recipe I liked and felt I could manage. This is it! God Bless You! 5 hours later.... this was a hit. My family loved them. I used red jalapeños and added a large shrimp. Thanks for this video. This was also the very first time I breaded something. Your video was so helpful. 🙏🏼🙌🏼😁
Thank you so much Craig for sharing this video! I have tried other ones from different Chanel’s but was no success. I made them today your way and they turned out soooooo good and delicious.
I am so glad that I stumbled across your jalapeño recipe. I have made these about 4 times using my home grown jalapeño peppers. This recipe is so easy and I love that it is baked. They are so delicious. Thank you for such a great recipe!
Thanks, Craig! I made some and they're great... I had a little trouble applying the second coat... only got about six done and then abandoned the plan! They're great either way...
I don't know why but every time I make these, literally over seven times they never turned out spicy until I left some of the seeds and the core in my mix of cheeses. That is my secret and it is phenomenal
excellent recipe Craig thanks for the extra tips. I hame made a nice dipping sauce of raspberry jam and hot sauce of your choice just for that extra bit of flavour cheers
Just found this video. Looking forward to going these! I loved it when you and your son tried the poppers and just didn’t talk and kept saying “mmhmm” 😁😁😁
I've bookmarked a few different recipes for these but still haven't made them yet. I think I'll definitely have to give it a go with your recipe. Thanks Craig! And man your boy is gettin' old fast! Thanks again for the vids, nice to see a new Craig's Kitchen for a change!
I make almost the same cream cheese mix with a little of the veins and seeds for extra heat, stuff em like that, then wrap with bacon. Bake until bacon is crisp & they'll be gone within 10 minutes at the next party or friend gathering.
Looks delicious! Saving this video. & the bloopers 😆 My mom thinks it’s funny to put a ridiculous amount of tape on anything she wraps. The little pleasures in life 😂 I’m sure I’ll end up doing that with my kiddos too
Those look great! Although I really feel like these come out best with whole pickled Jalapenos, but that's just opinion! Great video and great bloobers! I like the gibberish drumming to help calm down lololololol
im gonna try them,,,,,,, id liek to share with you what i do with french brie cheese... i take some brie and cut it in big chunks then make a breading station like you did but except bread crumbs i use oats, i do the double coating like you do then deep fry, and its good with cranberry sauce......
I made the cheese and jalapeno bites couple weeks ago in air fryer, I'm all about health, and saving electricity ,were amazing but now, watching this I'd love to try it BuT had my fourth stroke just before Xmas(4 in 4 yrs) now I can't use my left hand or arm so wondering if I could do this with one hand, so,I'm not sure, Look amazing and I'd love to do these so last ones were chopped up jalapenos and cheese just same cheeses as here, rolled into balls and dipped in same way with ingredients, so they were large balls, and so delicious 😊❤️
i love this video. i watched it with the intent to make poppers with those mini point peppers from walmart that come in a bag. red, yellow and orange, and they're sweet. of course cooking takes the sweet out of them, but i'm willing to bet that they are good........
The one thing you did (and perhaps not on purpose) that I find important because I never had luck in making these poppers and that is when you were stuffing the peppers some of the cheese oils got on the outside skin of the peppers which helped the flour and egg mixture to stick. I've made them before and the coating on the peppers just fell off. So, I'm following your recipe to a T, hoping for success! Tfs! (Love the bloopers, love your sidekick! 😉)
At first it seems making videos are so easy for you. Then you show bloopers and it how much work it can be. Great show liked it a lot will try tomorrow cheers
Okay, I've been craving Jalapeno poppers; we put cream cheese in the hollowed out pepper, then add a "little smokie" (sausage) and wrap it in bacon...but since it's summertime in Arizona, we don't feel like barbecuing in the heat! We'll try your recipe, it looks great! Thank you!
Orginal type of cooking I'm willing to give it a try my cooking ain't that air fryer type of cooking I like your end of the video with the bloopers were added I found it quite hilarious
The best and easiest way to make n bake these delectable treats and a man after my own heart. The real kitchen dishes in the sink, no gloves and watching red wine in the corner dry up only to be refilled, but when you bunged those bad boys in the over, well.
I thought I was just going to watch one more video before going to bed (It's 1:20 AM at my place right now), and suddenly I was VERY hungry... Damn it... Now I have to make myself a huge sandwich... And it's all your fault Craig!!! And I like it!!! LOL!! Great stuff, mate, cheers and 17!!
In the process of making these right now! Letting the second coat dry a little. Wish u would gave us an idea of how long it takes to cook them in the oven. Guess I’ll stick somewhere around the same for the frozen store bought ones
Craig I've started making these almost twice a month following your exact recipe. They are fantastic.
This for sure is THE BEST jalapeño popper recipe I’ve ever tried. I’ve been using Craig’s video recipe for years now and it’s a staple that never fails. The double breading is the secret key. Thank you for making the video
That’s only because you never tried my smoked popper recipe…
Craig,
I have made these twice and they are fantastic. I have found about 15-18 minutes for my oven works well.
Thanks for the recipe and video.
Cheers!

These are fabulous ! Ive stood and breaded these for hours and hours ! Sooo worth it !
Very similar to how I've made them in the past, - they were awesome - except I didn't do the double breadcrumb coating. I haven't made them in about 3 years, and now I really want to make them again. I've since bought an air fryer, and may give using that a try.
Trying now. I liked your presentation 🙂 this recipe is going into my saved recipe file on RUclips. Nice job.
I tried these ! The double breading trick is what does it. So crunchy ! Thanks so much ! !
Update: I just whipped up some of these and popped them in the oven. Upon starting to bread these suckers, I very quickly decided that there is absolutely no way that I was going to coat these more than once. I admire your patience!

I don't know why but every time I make these, literally over seven times they never turned out spicy until I left some of the seeds and the core in my mix of cheeses. That is my secret and it is phenomenal
great idea, I was trying to make them spicy until I did what you did. thanks
that’s not a secret that IS what makes them spicy. if you take out the seeds and stem then you’re just left with basically a bell pepper.
I never considered the oil in the spray bottle! Love it
Thank you so much! That looks delicious! Trying this tonight! PS: I loved when the son joined in also, just in time for tasting! lol
