Happy New Years Buck & Cameragirl 🌶🎉🎊
happy new year!...it already feels like a week ago :^)
If you want to eliminate the burn of a jalapeno especially if you get it in eye....dab area with whatever liquid antacid you have around or go and get some. It neutralizes the acidic heat of the jalapeno immediatly. It happened to me and it works. Got it on before it migrated into my eye ball.
hopefully the phrase "migrated into my eye ball" will be the most uneasy experience I have today
I learned the hard way😂 Woke up in the middle of the night hours later with my hands ON FIRE!! I washed and washed and washed and it kept burning. I finally thought, since people drink milk, maybe I could try it; it neutralized it almost immediately. Milk works on any burn, not just peppers. GREAT TIP!
I just made these, they were gone in moments, my family loved them. I used scallions instead of the sun-dried tomatoes. I also used cream cheese with chives and the tiniest bit of cheddar. We loved them, thanks so much!!!! Also, the cauliflower pizza crust...that was lovely, absolutely delicious!!
This by far is one of the best instructional videos that you and CG have done. Thank you so much. Going to have some with the ball game tonight.
wow!--thanks for watching--I like making these longer videos, but it's a balance between being a tutorial and also being some kind of entertainment, and then just straight up being a waste of someone's time, which I'm hopefully still editing out while making the videos longer. I appreciate the kind comment!
These look good. Next week I'm making em
hope you like them...thanks for checking the video out
I just love CG crying ‘oh lord’. She leaves me smiling for hours.
she does seem to find a lot of what I do to be oh lordable
Cream cheese and sharp cheddar cheese combined is the perfect combination. Also you can put brown sugar on top of it to tame the heat and give it a caramelized texture.
Cream cheese and cheddar my favorite combo too.. I also add a little grated white onion and garlic:)
sugar on top? wha?
@@ChefBuckRecipes yes sir! Dark brown. Then bake. Trust me. It's so good!
@@ChefBuckRecipes😂😂😂😂😂😂
Chef Buck! Can't go wrong following Chef Buck!
Love the way your made it more pizza-like and cheesy!! Jalapeno is my favorite pizza topping so this recipe rocks! Thank you for sharing, Chef Buck and CG! Have a great Sunday and an awesome week ahead!
jalapeno is one of my favorite pizza toppings, too...hope you have a wonderful week as well, man...and a terrific year to follow :^)
@@ChefBuckRecipes So great to know that we have the same taste :) Thank you so much, Chef Buck! Wishing you and CG a wonderful week and an awesomely terrific year ahead!! Highly appreciate you!!
Cream cheese is a wondrously versatile ingredient👍 You really did those giant jalapeños a service with this recipe😋
cream cheese is one of my favorite things in the fridge...and it's handy how long it lasts...I love when I don't feel pressure to have to use an ingredient right away
These poppers look amazing. Is this vid the start of game day treats. I love hourdourves of all kinds. More please. 😎❤
hors d'oeuvres for dinner! I'm never not happy with that. If I had a plate of poppers, wings, and stuffed mushrooms for dinner I'd be pretty content :^)
Yummy 😋.
I like to bake the peppers first for 10-12 minutes and then take them out and stuff with a shredded chicken-cheese-seasonings

Oh, boy!! These are just my style!! Later today, I"m headed to the grocery. Camera Girl, you two are hilarious! I love starting my week with my favorite kids!! Have a wonderful week , you guys!!
And I love it when anyone refers to us as "kids"...which is what we find ourselves calling almost everyone else as well (except our moms) :^) ....we're also heading to the grocery store today--good luck to all of us!
Looks awsome, I can hardly wait to make them 😊
thanks for watching our stuff!
Thank you, this video was informative and entertaining. I might do as you suggested and cook the bacon first and maybe chopping it up for a cleaner bit. Only because I don’t want to bake bacon in my oven. My worst chore in my kitchen is to clean my oven. It’s just me, I’m lazy. Lol Thank you again for all your good work!
CG likes the idea of cooking the bacon and mixing it into the cream cheese filling...which I do find appealing from a prep and ease of eating perspective--but the look and chewy baconiness of sliced bacon on top is worth it, I think
Thank you Chef Buck👍. I'm definitely making these poppers, yummy 😋.
Hope you like the recipe--thanks for watching!
I do shredded cheddar cheese mixed in the cream cheese with garlic powder.....best of both worlds!
I think CG wants to be in your cheese camp
You did this years ago (minus the bacon and add bread crumbs) and I've been doing it a couple times a year since, I love this recipe!
I think one of the first 5 videos I ever made was a version of jalapeno poppers made in a skillet, way back in 2009 or 10. This is my 4th version of a jalapeno recipe...I can't imagine a jalapeno popper I'm not going to enjoy, although I think this version might be the quickest to prepare. Thanks for watching our stuff!
Making these tonight !!!! Can't wait
I love the Checkov reference. 😂❤️
dating myself with that one!
Never try jalapeno poppers. Great recipe. Thank you and happy Saturday.
I love poppers I make them almost every week. Man the peppers have been big this year. Yummy! It's so hard for me to stop eating them though. Thanks
These look amazing! Love the ingredients. As someone else suggested, try scallions instead of the tomatoes. I think I might try cutting the raw bacon into small pieces and laying them on top so when you bite into it you're not fighting with that big piece, especially if it's not super crispy.
Seasonings seem good. Maybe garlic powder, pepper, fresh chopped basil?
Going to buy a bag this week! 👌
I have always wrapped a whole slice of bacon around the pepper, such a better idea to lay the bacon on top! Thank you!. Definitely cream cheese and although your fingers seem to be tough there is no shame in using tongs 😁
Thanks, CB & CG. Now I know where the expression "Hellzapoppin'!" comes from.
I'm making these today! Very similar to what I usually do except I usually put the peppers in some vinegar/water that I brought to a boil, take off the heat and let them sit for 5 min or so. I like the peppers a bit cooked before stuffing. I will try charring them instead sounds great,
A comment on your dairy theory - I always thought it was the fat that took away the heat - I could be wrong but one of us should GOOGLE it LOL
Until then I would not recommend using skimmed milk.! Also I mix shredded cheddar with my cream cheese - I agree with camera girl.
That tip about finding what way it falls over is so simple, but it never occurred to me.
Jalapeno poppers? Whoo-hoo is right!
This is my kind of snack.
I do have to wear gloves though cuz I'm one of the folks with sensitive skin.
Wow! These poppers are a little fancy. This I gotta make. I don't do bacon so my few will be bacon free, but everyone else loves bacon so I bet these will be a big hit. I'll make some for family and some for co-workers.
I remembered watching the video for the cheeseburger poppers. I'll make some of those too.
the good thing about this version is that it's easy to make some bacon-ee and some bacon-free. A commenter mentioned using prosciutto ham which I thought was a very good idea (although maybe not far enough away from bacon is you're going bacon free) ...thanks for watching!
Damn I don’t have any peppers 🌶 I need to go to grocery. Because I want to make these today. Love this idea. Thank you 👩🍳
I generally prefer smaller jalapenos, but all the ones I've seen in the store this week have been small-zucchini-sized peppers...I guess it translates into more cheese, so I shouldn't whine :^)
Nothing more appetizing than a cook talking about touching his junk during prep. Of a dish. Thank you for that visual
You may be surprised how many people will go to the emergency room thinking they have something serious going on, when in reality they just forgot to wash their hands of pepper juice before touching their junk- great tip, no pun intended! 😂
.. I Have made them with both cream cheese only and with cheddar also ,, including bacon bits (already cooked) mixed together ,, mostly deep fried .. and breaded ....
Those look awesome! I'm usually lazy and buy the pre-made stuff though. xD
frozen? I think I've seen those, but never tried them...that's probably a young man's game!
Welcome back! Had not seen new videos for awhile.
I love it
My Hubby and I love to watch you two . STAY ALIVE !!!!
RE: Milk - Milk has a protein called casein that breaks down capsaicin (the stuff that makes peppers spicy), and fat that can smother the tongue's taste receptors, preventing the capsaicin from binding to them.
@ 4:50 don't worry...the cameramen never dies 😂
I fill them with, Cream/Goat and Cheddar. Best of both!
I use both...cream cheese and good sharp cheddar.

15:21 wow, that's a clean broiler pan.
Tasty.
Oh definitely scream cheese!!
halloween poppers
@@ChefBuckRecipes haha for some reason when I thought of cream cheese I thought of hotel transylvania and the blobs of "scream cheese" with faces in them. Haha my grave yard brain does strange things 🥴
I really like the idea of laying the bacon on top. Why didn't I think of that? 😄
Camera girl is a pro videographer.
I tried these from a different recipe and I guess I didn't cook them long enough and everyone was afraid of them because the bacon looked under-cooked. We had to keep putting them back in the oven and taking them out and putting them in.....anyway, it kind of spoiled the majesty of the popper. THIS recipe looks relatively fool-proof and I think I might overcome my trauma and give it another go. Thanks for helping me get back on track. lol.
we've found 6 minutes under the broiler to be our magic number--of course it's gonna vary by stove and how far under the broiler you have your poppers. We've cooked them as long as 8 and 9 minutes under the broiler, which definitely makes a big difference in the crispiness of the bacon...the cooking time really is just however one prefers the bacon cooked. Thanks for watching!
CREAM CHEESE!!!
Cream cheese is good in jalapenos but cheddar is so much better.
Did you try the recipes?
CREAM CHEESE ALL THE WAY
Cream cheese is best!
cook bacon separate and add afterwards.
Be careful to not pick at something after seeding your wessel Capitan.
I've learned that lesson more times than I can remember (maybe "learned" isn't the right word)
Cream cheese
Add cheddar to the cream cheese
It’s not Jalapeno…it’s “Jalapeño”, in order for them to taste good you first need to spell it correctly.
Get on with it ffs
DO you ever read the comments????
