- Compiling DOS the way it was meant to be - on a 386DX
As you may know, Microsoft released a few days ago the source code for MS-DOS 4.0, with quite a bit of media fanfare.
However, not all was how it seemed to be, since it looks like the method of publishing the source code (through GitHub) has messed up with some of the contents, and thus it needed fixing.
Thankfully, people like Virtually Fun took up the challenge and managed to fix the code, making it able to be compiled successfully.

Unless you are compiling everything in a single translation unit, you can usually fix the associated file and resume compiling.
@@0x1EGENstill pretty annoying tough, because your 386 might be sitting for several minutes doing nothing if you're not constantly paying attention

I don't understand why they needed to convert a lot of the EXE to COM files.
DOS tends to use COM more than EXE afaik.

Hey dude uhh i wanna run tiny 11 on my laptop with 2 gigs of ram and a cpu that runs on like 1.3ghz currently im on windows 7 aero blue and cant even open a youtube vid properly will it have a major change?
