    Hey Amigo ! I watched your video …. Found the same saw with battery and charger on Amazon for $150.00 …. Free shipping ! Awesome ! It was $199.00 at Lowe’s …. They had the pole saw on Amazon for $150.00 as well … got that too …. Geez $300.00 for the two saws 2 batteries and two chargers w/free shipping !! Seems like a pretty decent deal !! I had the Lynxx set up from Harbor Freight prior to getting this Skil set up …. There stuff worked absolutely fine (actually costed more than the Skil back when I bought it) and I would have been happy to keep using the Lynxx tools … but now they stopped carrying the lynxx line of stuff so you can’t get batteries any more ! So I wanted to get a new set up from a company that has been around a while …, Skil should be able to supply my with parts and service for the foreseeable future !!! Should have know better than to buy a kinda odd ball brand ….

      No worries, I’m not a fan of the chainsaw anymore after having it for some time. Battery dies extremely fast and the saw stops repeatedly while cutting small stuff less than 12”.

    Good to have that on hand. I am impressed with mine. Suprised at how long it holds charge. Looking forward to following the 450 route, thanks for sharing info on it.

      @@Xploring_The_Outdoors yeah the lawnmower 5ah battery should do it well.. I really like mowing on battery power and will probably dump my gas mowers as a result. unfortunately skil batteries are expensive and in low supply on the secondary market.

    Thanks for the review, I'm thinking about getting this saw. its way more affordable than the Makita. The area you are in reminds me of Coastal NC

    I have never seen anyone cut a tree into pieces and have the chain coming toward them in a cut. It is a wonder you haven't cut into your leg yet. Might want to buy some chain saw chaps before you do or change the way you cut logs. @17:27

    • @Xploring_The_Outdoors
      @Xploring_The_Outdoors  Год назад +1

      Appreciate your concern, the video angle is kinda deceiving and slowed down for affect my leg was no where near the path of the saw and far enough back the chain wouldn’t hit me. I’ve been cutting trees a long time and always pay attention to the path of the chain, axle or machete will take
