The Triton has proved to lead the pack in reliability. And are the best for stock offroad ability and on road handling in the Super Select AWD models. The intercooler connection weep is typically a seal issue...very easy fix. The autos are bullet-proof transmissions. This is a class act vehicle irrespective of price. Cheers

I certainly did enjoy your video about the Triton. I’m driving a 2016 Triton and so far and touch wood, the only issue so far is my staring wheel, like you did mentioned in your video, the top lay’s wearing, for the rest it’s seams ok. Only few weeks ago I did replace the leaf springs, they were getting to soft. It as now 97000kms and the engine’s running well. It is a cheap vehicle compared to all the others and yes it does show when it comes to the interior but I look after it and so far I am very happy with it.

Turn your headlights on after you turn truck off and you get 1min courtesy light to open your house and get inside before they auto off at night! Mine is an exceed model might be on others, found it randomly doesn't mention it anywhere...ps had since new 2016 no issues at all but good video.

My 2017 mq has been great no problems even wth 130ks I always get mitsubishi dealer servicing as they do the extras like valve clearence and check it right over for any of the problems in video, also highly recommend egr delete and ecu tune as they fix up the sluggishness a lot and a throttle controller as well.

I have had two l200 a 05 which was brilliant loved it best looking one then a 012 which was great but didn't have it for long had no problem with any off them just had a bit of work on my 05 one just because the last owner didn't look after it for the pass 2 years just because some people have bad experience with them its sometimes down to bad parts or not looking after it its same with any car really specially with more modern vehicles the quality isn't there down to cost and weight saving to make more fuel efficient.
You get bad ones and you get good ones people like to see the bad at the moment I have a range rover 2012 l322 which if you ask anyone they say I wouldn't buy one sell it quickly its a money pit but not all are so far I had it for a year and ahalf now just cost me under a £100 just a bush and a ride high season easy todo.
Buy what you want don't buy on navigation opinions do research but the l200 is a reliable truck for the money they don't cost a lot to fix look after it yes it will brake down but all vehicles do.
Look what life a vehicles has had you get more of a idea if it's a good or bad.

I drive a 2011 MN and it really feels like nothing has changed. Squeaky rears, rattly interior, and I’ve had to get the manual trans overhauled because I couldn’t select 3rd. The interior is noisy as and it’s quite an agricultural experience. Other than that it’s been ok, would I buy another one? I’d definitely consider it… mind you the Tritons aren’t as heavily discounted against the other vehicles in class as they were when the MN was being sold. They were crazy cheap back then.

Yes I had a 2015 & it ram the big end bearings for no reason @ 110k. always changed oil @ 7000km. The oil light did not even come on after the bearings had gone. I replaced the engine & the second engine started overheating after a few thousand km. What a piece of rubbish it was. spent $20k on it.

As the 4N1 engine requires valve clearance checks and adjustment every 45,000km, the fuel lines need to come off a fair few times in its life.
I read a thread from a Master technician at a Mitsubishi dealer, example of a scenario and his advice is as follows:
Correct Procedures for Injector Tightening - MQ/MR
Customer temp gauge nearly reached top of reading so he pulled over. The overflow bottle was empty and there were green coolant stains around the join between the top of the head and the rocker cover. This is a known problem with this engine. The fault is not a manufacturing defect, it is caused by incorrect tightening after valve clearance adjustment.
Overtightening causes cracks, under tightening causes leaks and injectors to seize in head. The procedure is very precise, Its a very low torque figure, then bolts are tightened by angle:
Injector washers (copper) must be replaced every time they are removed, return pipe seals and the washers on the securing bolts must also always be replaced.
With all the lines in place the bolts are fitted so the injector carriers are all level. This is to be done with a long straight edge. The bolts are then tightened to 1nm, then the each of the front bolts on each injector are tightened by 90 degrees, and the rear bolt of each injector is tightened 180 degrees.
Hope this may save some people some $$$

It's the serpentine belt pully squeaking, mine makes the same sound in the mornings when it is wet only for about 40 seconds, it has been doing this since new. The dealer wouldn't replace the bearings on the pull because they couldn't hear the squeaking. I have replaced the serpentine and the generator belt, still squeaking. I didn't replace the pullys at the time because no one had them in stock. That the next job.
