PS Vita and PS3. It really smoothes out the jaggies from the PS1 version with better Anti Aliasing. PS5 is excessively crisp to the point where is texture warping and flickering, I don't really like it. Idk why people are saying N64, this game has an amazing soundtrack that is completely crippled on that port. Plus the transparency effects don't look good there either.
For those wondering about the PC version (I had it growing up), it's essentially a port of the Dreamcast version but supports higher resolutions and runs at 60fps. All of the console versions are locked to 30fps. There's a 60fps cheat floating around for the DC version however, so you can get that version looking pretty comparable to PC via emulation.
I played the Dreamcast one and I remember that compared to the PS1 one the DC one has more elements and ambient effects in the levels, I also remember that when you reach the level 9 boss before the boss appears in the DC version for for some reason it changes to 60fps but when you spawn the boss it changes back to 30fps.
You realize that the Dreamcast version came out several months after the PC version, right? The PC version is not a port of the Dreamcast version. If anything, it’s an inferior port of the PlayStation version with low quality music and inferior sound effects.
I’d say the PlayStation version is the best. The N64 version lacks full motion videos and for some reason, the PC version has lower quality music in contrast to the console versions. The Dreamcast version, on the other hand, is pretty much a lazy port of the PlayStation version for the simple fact that it uses absolutely none of Dreamcast’s strengths to good effect. Not only that, but the biggest problems in the Dreamcast version is that it has more slow down and pop up compared to the PlayStation version and they also changed a couple of things in regards to music and presentation. For example, the PlayStation and Dreamcast versions each have a different soundtrack and picture on the start screen. For the record, I should point out that the N64 version also has completely different music that plays in menus and gameplay, and they are awful by the way. It depends on whether you prefer the original presentation of the PlayStation version or the changed presentation of the Dreamcast version in the end. For me, I’m not a fan of changed/replaced content so in my opinion, I prefer the original music and pictures of the original PlayStation version. Plus, the PlayStation version doesn’t lag or pop up as much as the Dreamcast version so the PlayStation version has my vote this time.
technically the best one is the emulator either Android or PC since you can put shaders on it, change lighting and also increase the frames of the game
Ya know how people always make mods for graphical overhauls n' such? For some reason just because I saw this comparison of all the different platforms, I want to see someone make a remaster of this. Not as a full game, just a small video of the game with "realistic" graphics or updated graphics. Kind of like what a lot of people do with Minecraft or Grand Theft Auto V where they make the games look Ultra realistic, this video made me want to see that but for this game. It popped into my head while looking at the comparison of it all. I have a visual of what it would be like in my head and it looks phenomenal and now I want to actually see it lol.
I still have the original version of this game physically for PS1 including the digital version now too for PS4 which was recently released as part of the PlayStation Plus membership even though I actually don't really have PS Plus myself. I still don't have a PS5 console yet, but once I finally get a PS5 next, I'll also be able to play this game on the PS5 as well since I already have it on PS4 now.
what was the emulator used on android? the psx? probably through the emulator settings it is possible to make the graphic better than what is shown in this video

The N64 and Dreamcast versions are the bests. The other versions are basically the emulated PS1 version, and the only notable thing about the PS1 version is the FMVs. Although personally, why do I want to see the FMVs? for that I better watch the movie 😂😂😂 Anyway, I prefer the N64 and Dreamcast versions because of the gameplay and the graphics that are obviously cleaner and don't have that jitter and texture distortion that PS1 games have.
android, PS4 PS5 dont count because they are just emulating the PS1 version. psp and vita are (maybe) edited versions of PS1 because the psp has one stick and no triggers and the vita has no triggers

Nah, it's just the PS1 version being played on an emulator (unofficially too). Not including the GBC version (which is a completely different 2D game), there are only really four "unique" variants of this game. They are PS1, N64, Dreamcast and PC. When played on PSP, PS3, Vita, PS4 and PS5, they just emulate the PS1 original via back compatibility.

PS1
N64

What do you mean by cheat?
@@revenge1205 It's clearly higher res than ps1, though, so if anything, it's an inferior PC port or a superior ps1 port.
I'm mighty impressed with what they did to the game and all on PS4 & PS5.
Huh? Watch it slowed down...they have as much texture warping as the psx game.
The PS1 version is one of the best platformers of the era, along with Rayman 2, Spyro 3 and Crash 3. This game never recieved the praise it deserves.
Rayman 2 in ps1 was a very bad version, much better N64 or dreamcast
@@juanbautistaruizarizcuren8815 I personally disagree.
Rayman 3 PS2 also
@@RobertK1993 Just mentioned a few.
Finally, I waited so long for the ps5 to be able to play this game in good conditions
I remember playing this on my PC as a kid and I was absolutely terrified of it because it was running too fast lol
I played this when I was like 4-7 years old on my grandma old pc
Dreamcast ♥️

That's because N64 used cartridges instead of CD's and it couldn't storage too much data

I like the Dreamcast one better.
The fact that you can play this on every Playstation device is incredible.
Do you think you can also make a comparison video of Walt Disney World Quest: Magical Racing Tour (2000) PS1 vs Dreamcast vs GBC vs PC please?

omg this is one of my favorite game on ps1 i could never beat second level lol :D
I hated when Dreamcast got held back by Playstation
A galera do PS5 tá começando achar o mesmo...
PlayStation looks good for 4 year old console in 1999

PS5, PS4 AND DREAMCAST THE BAST!!!
The main issue with the PlayStation editions is the horrible texture warping.
