Phap Huu is an artist He’s like a ballerina of the dharma The way he speaks and uses body language The way he syncs up his steps with his breathing and speaking
I spend hours each day filling my head with information, videos and hapless details that don't affect my true nature of anxiety. Like our brother said, it helps to be in touch with my suffering, does not fix or resolve the anguish inside me. Meditation, walking, even performing chores finds myself easier to soothe. I can function better without constantly ingesting small bits of dopamine. That is a science I've found working well for my own chemistry. The more I can get at the root of my suffering, the better...
Tank you so much brother. I experience the suffering in my body. I regonise that I am preteding to be strong almost always. For 60 years. This talk helps me to allow myself to really feel the suffering. Work in progres.
Thank you Br. Phap Huu. When I read the title of this dharma talk soon after it was posted, I knew it was especially timely for myself. I had lost touch with my own simple but regular practice of mindfulness to the point of being immersed in a negative habit I thought I had left behind long ago. Not by choice, but an unusual set of circumstances where those closest to me were impeding my practice to the point it seemed almost deliberate. Which made no sense to me because they are generally kind hearted. Anyway, it took a few days to even find a block of time long enough to hear this talk at a time I could concentrate without interruption to receive the dharma. I am grateful I woke up early enough this morning to do so. As I suspected, this was particularly timely and has already helped me escape what I refer to as a negative eddy in the river of life. ☺ 🙏
Thank you so much for this talk. While listening to Brother Phap Hu I realized that I am creating the future by my actions in the present, and that everything has already happened, including my death, because there is only one eternal moment. We cannot outrun the present, no matter how hard we try to avoid it, because it is literally all that there is. ❤ thank you for continuing the work of Master Thay .

I am appreciating the authenticity of Br. PH’s sharing which acknowledges the conditions humans confront. It helps make him more relatable IMO and normalizes these kin’s of struggles.

I’ve noticed that it takes a very long time to transform our habits which are born from collective escapism Maybe it’s why people get fed up and quit trying

Ces enseignements m'ont fait toucher ma graine de souffrance. J'ai pu la nommer.
Mais cela n'a pas suffi à l'apaiser.😢
