I'm excited for when you decide to do Morty for your Death Guard, though i understand looking at a model and feeling overwhelmed or just not ready, that's how i feel about my Ghaz, he's still in box and has been for almost a year now...and i'm concerned about building him because i'm not sure if i should leave him in parts for paint or if i can paint him ok as a complete model....
mechs, samurai based battle suits, and a long range superiority unmatched by any other race the Tau have been my favorite race since i first saw physical warhammer being played, i'm probably a bit biased because it was the only army i really got to play (we had an afterschool club and there were a few armies you could play if you didn't have one lol only a couple people actually owned armies and nobody else ever wanted to play Tau so it was always dumped on me >.

Which statement was more wrong: Bonereapers in the launch box? or that Jay won't over spend at Adepticon? But seriously I hope you have a great time and find lots of cool stuff to make videos about.
If you showed me those models without the Halo logo -- I would never have guessed they were Halo models. You’re right - the classic Halo would work worlds better scaled down.
my guess for the releases are 4th ed sigmar w/skavens (leaked) and sormcast 40k: csm bikers hopefully a jump lord and multi part oblits and venomcrawler GSC reveals (idk what specifically)
Heroclix did a halo set and I have a bunch of those models. They are freaking awesome. One of my favorite minis I have is Master Chief with the Fist of rukt hammer.
Personally I really like the Flashpoint showing so far. though if you want some Reach and a few H3 style STL's there's a few kicking around that were meant for ground battles
So…. How are the Tau fixing 40k? And what is it that they’re fixing? I’m not asking to be rude; I’m brand new to the scene; I know everyone hates 10th edition, but I feel like there’s stuff that’s not being said in this video because it’s expected to be understood. I do not understand those things. Love your content and I look forward to more soon!
Yeah, that’s why I play knights. Purely perfect and flawless pieces of master crafted model loveliness that I believe all other armies should attempt to imitate. They will fail of course, as nothing is as perfect as the awe-inspiring titanic walkers of the imperial and chaos knights, but even imperfect imitation would be a step in the right direction. Excuse me, as I now must return to my endless holy task of building and painting my 15,000 points of chaos knights. Good day to you and I hope you consider knights of any sort (although chaos is the truest expression of imposing majesty) for your next army, or continue to pursue on the path of gathering all the wondrous walkers of your dreams.
Jesus Christ why did I just write that slop I like knights like just a normal amount I swear, I also only have like 4 war dogs and a Chaos Acheron, I just felt the urge to write some weird garbage on the internet to prove I have free will
I think the AOS4th will be skaven and stormcast. Also, What if you made a video about that inquisitor and at the end, compare it to the rogue trader mini?
The three ion blasters were the issue and they moved to legacy.. Then gw stomped on other wargear, drone choice, and squad size... Here, new kroot stuff. There, big finger crisis suits >.>'
As a tau player for a 11 years I genuinely disagree with everything you say. No wargear is bad. No costumisation of units is bad. No choice is bad. If your game don't include to choose in every sections, then it is a bad game. If you have no choice how to build your unit, it is a bad thing. If you have no choice how to paint your unit, it is a bad thing. If you have no choice about loadouts of units, it is a bad thing. I hate that crisis now have no versatility. That crisis had only one playable loadout with ion blasters, it is a problem with GWs game, not with unit
I don’t play often enough of any wargame, but because of that ,I play as tactical as I know. Rules are a numbers geek. Against me it’s the strangest load out and winning through confusion.
Tau are my fav faction, but I just can get around those boxy bodies. I also haven,t found good proxy's for the battlesuits. I also don't own a 3d printer so.. :(. I just wished they would get a more sleek stealthy design instead of those boxy suits and stealthsuits.
I'm a Tau player and I get why many of my fellow Shas'os are upset. Crisis suits are the identity of the faction for many players. Now they are just a small piece of the army puzzle. However, I agree that this change is good for the game and probably good for the army development. With crisis suits, you basically had to take Ion. Now GW can at least attempt to balance points for the unit specific role.
Glad kroot is getting some love, the majority of tau models don’t look too dated to me (there’s fine cast and what not but that’s not the point) can’t wait for 60 kroot to clog up the board
As a T'au player, i really DISLIKE the change on the suits. I deeply hate the fact they removed the invul saves (apart from one kind) and the ability to add double shields. Crisis suits will be easy to remove now, and crisis suits, imo, were the backbone for the faction. Also something worthwhile to mention: if you have a coldstar to the suits, you no longer have the +6 auto advance, so the movement start also gets a big nerf, leaving little room to actually make good moves on the field. This change amongst many other makes me wanna drop playing T'au all together.
I wonder if the halo game will be a skirmish game or an actual war game. Id consider the game if they drop a Reach expansion. Also another horrible reveal show prediction, as per usual, but we still love you and your crazy ideas haha. Skaven are 1000% going to be the army of 4th edition. The boner dog/cat has already been identified as a Warcry model and my further prediction for that is a OBR vs Sylvaneth warcry box as they are some of the only few left to not get warbands in the Heart of Ghur edition
I think if they revealed Emperors Children without Fulgrim, everybody would be disappointed or nerdrageous. But, no Primarch without a tie in with a campaign , like Angron and the Lion.
Man… I’m still upset over the final shut down of rooster teeth you didn’t have to bring that up now… However for a fan project to to redo in mini would be fun
SLAANESH IS MY 40K ARMY **grabby hands** Please GW, give space Slaanesh! My brother practically spent all of yesterday info dumping about the T'au Mobile Crisis Suits, haha. He's been waiting to see how his army gets shaken up with bated breath.
I do not like the change at all, but whatever. I'm at the acceptance stage now. I coukd have agreed with the 9th edition way of limiting options but this was way to drastic! But okay, you split the crisis suits based on the gear.... why not my favorite, the hammerhead then. The ion hammerhead and the railgun hammerhead also should be two separate datasheets, like it is in the space marine codex. I'm just looking for consistency across my codex of rules and design across the codex's.
it's like the Primaris system, you have the same base unit with different weapons, the problem is that you still gonna use the best option and you don't need 3-5 different data sheets more just for the weapons, and compared to the other factions, you end paying more o less just for the weapons vs free wargear, it's basically the system of previous editions!!!!!! So GW it's recognizing that free wargear was hot shit in first place

This is going to be my first Adepticon, hope to run into you and say hey!
New player here, main tau because gundam mechs are cool and I get a simple palate I like. Lore wise it’s funky but mech wise it’s cool. I get why people dislike them but hey I like them and that’s just fine.
Let me tell you. That is the best way to do 40k. Some people think it's supposed to be a balanced tabletop game... Don't fall into that trap
I think I'm most excited for drone models...I need something to run with tau as the vespids
Anything from 3. Reach and onwards probably wouldn't scale right.
I'd buy an EVA and Mk IV spartan in a heartbeat if I could.
@@caboose759There are games after Reach?
Original Quake monsters would look AWESOME as minis.
How would you not recognize them as SPARTAN? It so easy to spot you can even tell when AI generations pull from Halo.
@@SpottedHares right?
15:09 I feel like my inner wisconsinite sleeper agent chip activated after hearing Wauwatosa mentioned 🤖
Your Sea Monster model looks a lot like what people say the Wendigo looks like. All the Drawings i have seen have been pretty similar to that.
my guess for the releases are
4th ed sigmar w/skavens (leaked) and sormcast
40k: csm bikers hopefully a jump lord and multi part oblits and venomcrawler
GSC reveals (idk what specifically)
Heroclix did a halo set and I have a bunch of those models. They are freaking awesome. One of my favorite minis I have is Master Chief with the Fist of rukt hammer.
I remember those. My favorite was the elite honor guard.
How about a weird model: Citadel lead miniature - Avatar of Khaine that’s barely larger than a standard Eldar pirate model of the time.
Personally I really like the Flashpoint showing so far. though if you want some Reach and a few H3 style STL's there's a few kicking around that were meant for ground battles
Can't wait to create a Griffball ruleset using the Halo minis.
What you thinking something along the lines of blood ball as guide in terms of how to play ?
Shoutout to Tosa Zoo 🎉
I really wanted to get to this Adeptacon but not this year
I think the cat was actually part of the Tomb Kings, AoS starter will be skaven vs stormcast
I like what they did with Knights, same model different data sheets for different loadouts, solves the problem of free wargear internal balance.
That green halo guy has a frenzy auto
I kinda wanted a few ODSTs, and everything else from 3. Halo 3 was absolute peak for the franchise man
The three ion blasters were the issue and they moved to legacy.. Then gw stomped on other wargear, drone choice, and squad size...
Here, new kroot stuff. There, big finger crisis suits >.>'
And GW will ruin everything once the next codex releases
As a tau player for a 11 years I genuinely disagree with everything you say. No wargear is bad. No costumisation of units is bad. No choice is bad. If your game don't include to choose in every sections, then it is a bad game. If you have no choice how to build your unit, it is a bad thing. If you have no choice how to paint your unit, it is a bad thing. If you have no choice about loadouts of units, it is a bad thing. I hate that crisis now have no versatility. That crisis had only one playable loadout with ion blasters, it is a problem with GWs game, not with unit
He's guessing ossiarchs after the skaven leak and the necromunda rats and the skaven teaser? Is he OK?
I’m looking forward to the pink Drukhari videos.
Have you seen the older FW crisis suits? Those things were sleek and sexy
Yeah I like the FW ones. But it is FW :( haha. @@kenupton4084
Halo reach is the best halo ever. Hope Nick got his airbrush cleaned!!! Can’t wait to see your death guard!! Thanks gents!! Fantastic as always!!
If you want to see these Halo Spartans, then you will need to play ODST as they are all in that game.
156? Doesn’t that make this three years of Models and Memories?
8:40 Nah, it's probably going to be Skaven vs. Sigmarines. It's what all the recent marketing has been pointing toward.
Agents of the Imperium is revealed and Inquisitor in Terminator armour is a unit.
You'll see.
Glad kroot is getting some love, the majority of tau models don’t look too dated to me (there’s fine cast and what not but that’s not the point) can’t wait for 60 kroot to clog up the board
What about the Skaven leak?
Emperor's children would be nice but I think they'll reveal Death Company box for BA
A heavy armoured sisters army might work well
Free wargear was always a dumb idea. Now we need more cards for different geared out units?? That's just paying for wargear with extra steps.
Episode 156? It feels like episode 3 was 2 or 3 months ago.
Eons of battle what is thou wisdom
As a T'au player, i really DISLIKE the change on the suits. I deeply hate the fact they removed the invul saves (apart from one kind) and the ability to add double shields. Crisis suits will be easy to remove now, and crisis suits, imo, were the backbone for the faction. Also something worthwhile to mention: if you have a coldstar to the suits, you no longer have the +6 auto advance, so the movement start also gets a big nerf, leaving little room to actually make good moves on the field. This change amongst many other makes me wanna drop playing T'au all together.
Havent watched it yet but as a Tau player Im already pleased
I wonder if the halo game will be a skirmish game or an actual war game. Id consider the game if they drop a Reach expansion. Also another horrible reveal show prediction, as per usual, but we still love you and your crazy ideas haha. Skaven are 1000% going to be the army of 4th edition. The boner dog/cat has already been identified as a Warcry model and my further prediction for that is a OBR vs Sylvaneth warcry box as they are some of the only few left to not get warbands in the Heart of Ghur edition
Awesome video as usual
I think if they revealed Emperors Children without Fulgrim, everybody would be disappointed or nerdrageous. But, no Primarch without a tie in with a campaign , like Angron and the Lion.
Man… I’m still upset over the final shut down of rooster teeth you didn’t have to bring that up now…
However for a fan project to to redo in mini would be fun
Mythic Americas will be at Adepticon for the first time.
SLAANESH IS MY 40K ARMY **grabby hands** Please GW, give space Slaanesh!
My brother practically spent all of yesterday info dumping about the T'au Mobile Crisis Suits, haha. He's been waiting to see how his army gets shaken up with bated breath.
Please!!! Paint up some Sisters of Battle. Would love to see your take on them.
And don't forget about putting a sister on horseback.
Yes! Ignoring space marines I have a good amount of my Orks done and Tyranids and several kill teams! It’s a hidden truth that I thought only knew
welp all my crisis suits have flamer and plasma rifle plus a missile pod on the shoulder...guess I've done something wrong
I cannot wait for Halo Flash point 🎉😊
Video starts at 1:21
The horse fish thing is a Hippocampus...
I can't believe they're making halo miniatures
Id love to see a mini wargame where man-horse-fishes fight vs. man-bear-pigs.
Skaven is gonna.be part of the aos 4 launch box.
it's like the Primaris system, you have the same base unit with different weapons, the problem is that you still gonna use the best option and you don't need 3-5 different data sheets more just for the weapons, and compared to the other factions, you end paying more o less just for the weapons vs free wargear, it's basically the system of previous editions!!!!!! So GW it's recognizing that free wargear was hot shit in first place
Is it me or does he have the same mannerisms as Abed from community?
Noticed you mentioned RVB! Did you hear that Rooster Teeth are shutting down?
Please build a Blood Gulch. I would appreciate it
Those "Halo" guys look like Infinity models. I'll wait for Master Chief, Arbiter, grunts, hunters and jackals.
Don't look Back gets a high recommend from me!
I’m painting my KROOOOT kill team while watching this
A good video as always!
I wanna entire needler wielding army. No dice rolls nessacary lol
You would need to roll for supercombine
It's Skaven my guy.
