He was HILARIOUS as Owen but also as Trigger in only fools and horses 🐴🐎. It's sad that the only two cast members still alive are James Fleet and Dawn French, as they were all extremely funny. Rest in peace Roger Lloyd Pack, and also rest in peace John Bluthal, Trevor Peacock, Liz Smith, Emma Chambers and Gary Waldhorn.
I have never, ever in my life, seen a TV show that has made me laugh and cry more than this one! This is pure gold! Thank you all, British People - you do us all proud!!! Here in America ALL of our television is pure sewage/
I remember playing Joseph in my school nativity of the birth of Jesus, I forgot almost every line but it was the best-darned roles of my life. In fact, it`s my only acting credit but still!!
I watched this episode again last night on tv here in the States, not knowing Roger had passed away. So sorry to hear the news this morning when I read it on the BBC website. You were so memorable as Owen. Rest in peace.
I think stage actors are the best. I love Star Trek, and the best actors are great stage actors. DS9 sets were basically stages because the main rooms were all one. They could really act too because of the material they were given. Some have called it Shakespeare in Space
@@sarahkinsey5434 The stage is their kindergarten in that they learn their craft there. That is the mind set "over there". Here it is tv or a movie that makes them famous rather than being an actor. How they look and or sound as opposed to acting. Stage for them is the culmination not the beginning. Stage acting is the craft and material.
RIP John Bluthal who played Frank Pickle in this video clip and in this series. He passed away less than a day ago aged 89. 🙁 I do like this series. I haven't properly watched it all the way through ever since it began in 1994. I would love to do so now. 😊😃
I notice the Virgin of the congregation, doesnt seem no longer to be a virgin. Or is she preparing to play the part of Maria in the yarly Christmas play?
I think I might a few videos about The Vicar of Dibley and Dedicating it too Sir John Bluthal DCA. Whom played Frank Pickle the well known twat of Dibley
Yes, a lovely story. It is such a pity that the majority of “Christians” have no idea what Jesus taught and even less compunction to act the way he entreated. 😢
Don't read what he said about hating your mum and dad if you follow him. He was.....dunno.....power-crazed maybe. Better story is the catalogue of fuck ups by whoever has trapped here..all by design, they hate us.
More like the Greatest Story ever Sold. And totally fictional. Also what the Jesus character says it’s that astonishing and some of it is pure rubbish.
Roger Lloyd Pack truly was a hilarious man.....RIP and thanks for hours of laughter 😂

Dibley was simply divine comedy. The best of the best.
Mikaela Bowen I agree but don't forget Keeping Up Appearances!

I am with you Fred.
@@tommoclement I agree with you Fred!
Frasier, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Parks and Recreation...you've got some good stuff too.
I'm with you Fred
Fred Ferd Then you should watch Only Fools And Horses. Much much funnier than this show. Where Roger Pack here got his start
Here we are 2000 years later, in the middle of England and we still believe...... Beautiful sentiment...
No, 'we' do not.
Jesus? Yes, he probably existed.
Son of God? Nah.
The vicor of Dibley was a great sitcom, I liked how down to earth geardine was.
As always, watch the other actors' reactions. Total immersion in the moment.
RIP Roger (Owen) Emma (Alice) John (Frank) Liz (Mrs Cropply) and Trevor (Jim).
....and now (Well, back in January) Gary Waldhorn....(David Horton) RIP.
I remember playing Joseph in my school nativity of the birth of Jesus, I forgot almost every line but it was the best-darned roles of my life. In fact, it`s my only acting credit but still!!
Absolutely awesome actor. You'll be greatly missed xxx
This is a wonderful moment in the Vicar of Dibley!
The farting duck at the village show still cracks me up to this day
I'm cracking up now I've remembered that 🤣

Also was in Only Fools and Horses as well Trigger think he was called lol
@@jeremysmith54565 Trigger I think he was called? 🤔 Bloody ell an iconic character as him, sir Trig
What a great show
British actors start on the stage to develop their craft. Over in the USA stage work is the culmination of their careers.

Although Dawn is a comedian she can deliver serious lines pretty well. With feeling and valour.
Feathering the foam says Caroline Arliss, feathering the foam...
I love this episode
Loved this shows as a kid in the 90s. Great comedy back then.
I miss those simpler times :(
The seventies were even simpler times and when l as a lad in the fifties banging two stones together was regarded as the height of entertainment.
R.I.P Roger
Rip Emma too :(
Will miss Alice so much!!
SnorkyO Less than a day ago, RIP John Bluthal who played Frank Pickle, the man with the moustache in this video clip and in this series. 🙁
owen - you just have to love him
0:40
Hugo sounded way too giddy telling that story lol
"Yes, please," Damn it, Frank.

this is.. every internet argument ever.
no no no no no no no no no no no no no no yes it is
Such a shame that we aren't allowed to have comedy like this any more
Yes we are
Nobody has stopped this kind of comedy, except right wingers of course.
Don’t forget Kaaterskill Falls by Allegra Goodman. That was a pretty awesome story.
A Great Actor, not just comedy Shakespeare also. Look around and discover the mans talent(s).
Classic🖤💛❤️🇦🇺😅😆😂👍
Nice
Trig is hilarious.
Nice upside down cross there, Dawn...
That little boy born in a stable wasn’t around that long. Born at Xmas was dead by Easter.
Is that BARTY CROUCH?
Yes it is.
Horton is the only normal person in the bunch (even the vicar is sometimes crazy)
He may be the most "normal" but he is also the crankiest one in the bunch.
I like cranky and grumpy people, lol
I notice the Virgin of the congregation, doesnt seem no longer to be a virgin. Or is she preparing to play the part of Maria in the yarly Christmas play?
Hugo invented car door hook hand door
I think I might a few videos about The Vicar of Dibley and Dedicating it too Sir John Bluthal DCA. Whom played Frank Pickle the well known twat of Dibley
Did they ever do the story about the robbers the following year?
And of course no-one expected the Spanish Inquisition which was a beautifully surprising plot development.
No-one expect the spanish inquisition. Our biggest weapon is suprise. And severity
This show don't come on my tv anymore
bobbie lawson WHYYYYYYY
Why, is it broken?
Apparently, these people never went to Sunday School.
Ahh, when TV comedy was actually funny.
firstly she is wearing an upside down cross and Jesus was not born at christmas, this says a lot about the program
Yes, a lovely story. It is such a pity that the majority of “Christians” have no idea what Jesus taught and even less compunction to act the way he entreated. 😢
And those sayings were said by Buddha at least 600 years before those writing the bible stole them.
