- Carver County Sheriff's Office Electronic Record 2 & 4, photos of green bedroom that Prince used at Paisley Park. In his last years, Prince prefered to use the small guest bedroom in one of the conference rooms at Paisley Park. The bedroom has the same shade of green paint used in the entertainment industry for holding guest talent before an appearance or performance. A black sheet covered the large flat screen tv as Prince did not like to feel watched.
Prince's laptop, seen on top of the glass side table with a notebook, and pen on it was not taken as evidence initially. It was after 5 days that the sheriff's office had to come back to retrieve it. It had been moved to behind a locked door, and the hard drive wiped.

When I think of Prince and his home at Paisley Park. I imagine a luxurious, glamorous place out of a dream. But reality is he lived his life the same as anyone else just simple and ordinary. Seeing his beauty products and toiletries the same items you would see in common peoples homes. Welcome to the Dawn 💜💜💜
Some of his homes were like that, such as the property in Spain, the vacation property in Turks and Caicos, etc. Paisley Park is built for production, and work.

People in MN did give him his space. we'd see him out and about and we all knew he was famous and infamous but the sight of him was familiar but we did keep our distance out of respect. Nobody wants to be hassled in your hometown Even the Sheriff investigator says yes, I've seen him at the local grocery store late at night by himself buying groceries. Like it was not a big deal. But this also with gives credence to what the bodyguard said, if he was not doing well then how and why did he obviously feel good enough to ride his bicycle around? Ah, the infamous green room, lol! People seem to forget that Prince was 57. Why is it so hard to believe that he was a NORMAL guy? He'd already had all the luxuries life had to offer, and was living a simple life. I actually find it endearing that his living spaces were so bare-bones. He was a millionaire, that used stuff we can all find at CVS or Walmart. His refrigerator was full of Haagen-Dazs. He drank 24-hour energy drinks. Sure, he was Prince, but he was human at the end of the day.

If this room was in a hotel I would want my money back, Prince did not live well - he didn't seem to value comfort, everything was basic and practical. PP is in a cold part of US but I don't see any source of Warmth except some plug in electric radiators. Brrrr. I would have expected a bedroom suite with a gas fireplace, well chosen soothing decor and shelving that was spacious , adequate closets / dressing area with drawers and seating, generous bedside chests decent lighting, bedlinen and moulded ceilings. All of which he could have had if anyone else cared enough to craft his environment for his comfort because he wasn't capable of prioritising his own self care.

Any man knows that if there's no woman to take care of you that's pretty much how a single man lives. That's the problem men need a woman there for them. His so called head of security KJ said Prince was the only one who lived in that building, what I want to know is where the hell was KJ???? Everyone left that man alone to die by himself. Its no wonder men die before women more often then not. It kills me that he had to die all alone like that. Had he had had a woman she would never have let him live like that there was no woman's touch at all. And he must have been freezing in that place. Prince lived a normal life like any human being. Not over glamorous. As long as he was happy RIP 🙏 Beautiful one

It's clear that Prince, at the end of the day, was just a dude. A marvelous, wildly blessed dude but still...And he was clearly a dude of a certain age (irrespective of his prettiness) with the dated technology scattered about and the room's lack of "a woman's touch" (note the old school bars of soap); I'm not hating, I'm empathizing here. I get it because I AM him as millions of others are. He wasn't as much of a news media unicorn as he would like people to believe in that he had the same 3-4 remotes lying around like the rest of us. You see the pill bottles in question here and it would seem that this is the last room he exited before his body was found at the elevator. I do miss him

None of this should matter…he lived how he lived.. we shouldn’t try to create an illusion out of how some one else lived..the music was all that mattered to him..and that’s all that should matter to us
Except that how he lived, as privately as he deserved to live, there are still things that add to the charm. Like in Queen Kalli's comment about Haagen-Dazs. That's what adds dimension to him that he didn't want to share with us for whatever reason.

It looks like Prince was comfortable in this small space.Yes it's messy but you most certainly wouldn't expect a man like Prince who was always creating music to be vacuuming and washing dishes..? It was probably warmer there too as you can see the space heater set up. A cosy spot in that humongous estate where he could nestle in and be comfortable. I believe this is where Kirk killed him then dumped him into that elevator.
Prince has his room resembling a basement? Perhaps he felt secure in such surroundings after living at Andre’s home in the basement. He would not let Mayte change the room in any way. He was not extravagant himself but a generous philanthropist.❤

i find it strange that he decided to live in the green room while he had a huge nice bedroom instead. There must be a reason why..... it doesnt make sense. I believe his main area was on the third floor. This one is upsteairs. it looks simple and a place for him to recuperate.
He was staying there to get the place ready, with the various rooms. He was planning to have tours at Paisley Park, it was for the public.
How is this heartbreaking because he didn't live like other millionaires with all that glamour?

This post is really interesting, as it shows who PRN was at heart, beyond the stage presence. This is Skipper's room. Just the basics and holding all of his necessities at the time. Perfectly functional, a bit messy, but clean. We tend to think that folks in the public eye live glamorous lives if that is part and parcel of their stage persona. PRN worked hard at creating "Prince" for all of us and himself during his !ifetime. However it is just as powerful to glimpse behind the costumes and makeup to see who this celebrity was just living his private !ife. Powerful.

There’s not the joy or happiness of a home here. Just a shell of place that used to be back in the 80s and 90s, reduced to emptiness and loneliness.

I feel very intrusive watching this because it is his private space...just a couple of thoughts: this is all very outdated and pretty run down, why did he never hired someone for updating the facilities, renovation, decluttering etc..? This is not a home but a very claustrophobic and cold even creepy environment. I do not believe that a mentally healthy person lived there. Something was off with him and for a long time- He died of fentanyl overdose and to be honest: I do not think it was used for pain relieve. He was an addict and this is exactly how this house looked like. I feel so sorry for this man, what a way to live and to die.

Since Paisley Park was a humongous Music Studio, I am glad to see that the private bedroom and bathroom he used, away from the rest of the Compound, was a Neat, Clean, Basic, Sober-Looking area.

I dont think many of us have ever seen photos made public per the inside of celebrity homes after they passed. Why did the Sheriffs or whomever allow the body of Prince after he passed, be posted online for all to see?
Btw, Prince was always well groomed and amazingly dressed, you would think his home would be immaculate with everything organized. Having an Personal Assistant, Chef and Security or bodyguards just making sure everything ran according to Prince's immaculate lifestyle but it was nothing like that. I wonder why?
I know for years hebwas so private. With good reasons. But i kinda wished scenes in his every day life maybe not as personal as his bedroom. But. Dunno scenes of his bathroom look just like one of my brothers room th basic necessities. I think that was colognes i saw. Skin good. Breath fresh. Hair clean. Showered saw a hudimidipher look like could of been sinus meds. Box tissues for runny nose😊. Just a man things he uses when he get home. @@naughtynichole2676 Both bedrooms were upstairs. The green one had to be entered through a conference room that also had a bed off to the side. Definitely more accessible than the white bedroom for sure. The white bedroom's main entrance was pass double doors to an elevated wooden floor empty room, then pass a dressing room area hall of sorts. The stain glass door led to two long staircases going in different directions around Paisley Park. See the white bedroom video.

It is a very calm looking room though. I can see how a flamboyant bedroom would be less than calming when someone needs some rest and wants to get away from the noise of life.

Yes, he had money but like the rest of us PRINCE was also human. I can't say for sure but maybe he wanted a normal looking room to sleep in sometimes- just the basics.
Especially since he wasn't in one place for any length of time, he was always on tour or performing or traveling.
Prince was a talented/ genius/ musician, there will never b another one like him ever. He was also human, who had genuine pain from over working his body. Simple fact, He took meds prescribed to him for pain, became addicted to them. The pills Destroyed his life, took him from his family, friends, and his fans. We can't put all the blame on Prince, or tarnish his life's work. I'm sure he didn't take the pills for pleasure. We need to blame the PILLS MAKERS, THE PILL PUSHERS , AND THE DOCTORS THAT PRESCRIBE THIS CRAP. GREED OVER HUMAN LIFE, and the government for not putting a stop to this madness. Quit treating addiction as a social issue, and treat it like a disease. I'm sure if it wasn't so stigmatized, Prince would have gotten help, without being in fear of destroying his career, and his image . He was trapped with little/no room to escape.

If the hard drive had been wiped, couldn't they lift fingerprints off the keys. Haven't heard anything about that.
They sometimes used his computer and passed around the password so it wouldn't be strange to find Kirk or Phaedra's fingerprints on it. Plus they would claim they are protecting his privacy.

No doubt in my mind, obviously this probably was Prince's sick/detox room where he went when he was sick or maybe in withdrawal. Even maybe trying to detox. A place he didn't have to worry about messing up. A plain comfortable bed, with ever thing he needed to maintain, People that go thru withdrawal, or trying to detox, have stomach issues, vomiting, diarrhea, etc. Definitely not going to b worrying about being messy, or keeping the bedroom clean.

No disrespect but I do think that the channel owner should be more clear about what Paisley Park was all about. It’s basically Prince’s dream recording studio. With the money he made from Purple Rain he used to build his very own studio for producing his own music.
Morris Hayes worked a great deal with Prince on the sound production of his music. Many other music artists recorded their music and albums here.
Paisley Park was also used to make movies, music videos and tv programs like the Muppets. Graffiti Bridge movie was filmed here and many of Prince’s music videos like Gangsta Glam, Money don’t matter etc. It was quite a public place until the late 90’s when Prince closed the doors to the public, probably at the time he married Manuela when he bought his gorgeous home in Toronto, which has recently been sold.
Prince also lived in LA and his beautiful house there is my favourite of all his properties. He had also recently purchased the most beautiful Villa in Turks and Caicos in the West Indies. If you Google Prince’s tropical home you can still see the pictures, it’s on it’s own private island with a private beech, so beautiful.
But anyway Prince did retreat and stay at Paisley Park because it was his recording studio and he was always recording music. There’s footage of Josh Welton in the sound room where he worked with Prince on albums like Art Official Age, HitNRun phase 1 and phase 2.
There was also concert rooms there where Prince often performed and had his jamming sessions and DJ nights right up until he died. It’s bloody tragic he’s gone😰💔

He had the laptop, his notebook, some CDs, a tv, a shower, a refrigerator right outside the door, a telephone in his room. He was okay with it. Only thing that room didn't have is a headboard, and a clothes closet. He had rooms for his stage wear.
Just stumbled on to this. Prince had several homes away from Paisley Park. Obviously I don’t know but I’m thinking this was more of a studio crash pad. These pics are pretty invasive and should not have been publicized in my opinion.
He did own some homes on Fox (Run?) Circle but they were for his bandmates. He also (still) owned the homeon Dakota. BUT....he lived at Paisley. There ws more than one bedroom there.
This isn’t the main bedroom he mostly stayed him, his Goddaughter has confirmed that the big white beautiful bedroom with the bed with the mirrors on it, was indeed his main bedroom. He once took pictures in it while in bed and his guitars was in there too. I think he just slept in different parts of the complex from time to time. When you’re alone and rich you can do that lol

It had no tv but Judith Hill reported they watch movies together before she left, that is the Green Bedroom.
Nah, it's clear that he was crashing in this bedroom. ALL of his necessities were in it... even the sheets look jumbled up as if he'd just rolled out of bed. From what I've heard, that white bedroom was mainly just for photo ops and music videos.

It's not that different from the bedroom he had that is in the video thumbnail. He really stayed the same person, almost to a T. He didn't have a headboard, but there were already other bedrooms with beds in them in Paisley Park to chose from. The Green Room had a shower, and a mini fridge just outside. Plus it was two doors to enter the Green Room so he might have liked that as well on such huge property. It is too easy to be judgemental, but nothing is wrong with it essentially. Understandably, his fans want to see him in deserved luxury.

Workspace for sure, Prince was very ambitious, and industrious. He had a strong vision of where he should be, and how to achieve it.
I love it! Yes it's a bit intrusive but the cool thing is, he was just a CVS/Walgreens type nigga. You don't need a flamboyant bedroom when you are busy in the studio or rehearsing and managing people and music all the time. Besides, he had other homes and plenty of events that kept him busy.

The room is so lonely, like his life was. And it's not just that it's plain and not ostentatious. It's that it's so depressing and empty. There's nothing comfortable about it. It's just blank walls. It's sad to know this is how he lived. He was loved by millions of people all over the world, but he died alone.
I believe that after His Son Amiir Gregory passed away from Pfeiffer Syndrome one week after his birth emotionally hit him harder than Life and on the interview with Oprah, he ( Prince ) & Mayte were feeling very saddened and were trying their Best to be strong but unfortunately that was the beginning of their demise and eventually them breaking up and Prince truly never recovered from that devastation even though he got re-married to Manuela Testolini in 2001, I don't believe they tried to start a Family....WE ALL Loved him very much and his Legacy will always and forever be remembered for his Genius Gift he showered us with through his Music.....RIP Prince Rogers Nelson ( Skipper )

As far as I know they took his laptop a couple days later and not weeks later.
5 days later, on the 26th the laptop was retrieved. It had been moved to behind a locked door, and the hard drive wiped. Description has been revised. Thanks for commenting.

The bedroom Prince used while getting Paisley Park ready for welcoming visitors was actually behind the conference room on the second floor. It was initially a guest room with a small bathroom.

Does anyone know why he was staying in the green room vs. his white bedroom? Where is the white bedroom located in Paisley park?
Both bedrooms are upstairs. The green bedroom is simply more secure, and convenient. There is the possibility Prince was staying there temporarily to complete work on the Paisley Park museum which was in process when he suddenly passed away under suspicious circumstances.

There has to be another bed room in a secret place, one with thick carpets, beautiful artwork -- opulence and candles, that smells like heaven. A big soft bed with lots of pillows and satin and oils. He spent most of his life living lavishly.. many homes in exotic locations etc etc. Lived it up. But yea this was where he was sleeping end of his life, he started looking sickly in January. He lived simple during that time. Probably exhausted from his whole life being so fast and furious. Lived it up when he could and paid a high price physically for that. Chronic pain is no joke amd sucks the life out of you. I suffer from it as well and I was no where near the life this man had.. he lived his best life. If he could bottled his insane energy and drive.. he would made a killing more. In his last days he just wanted to strip down amd relax.. hence Piano and A microphone tour. Just him. Simple life. Nothing wrong with that. But I assure you these aren't photo shopped amd the Love symbol is most definitely part of that shower. I have that on good authority. 😉

Looks lived in, simple, and comfortable. Green is a very calming color. There's a bit of clutter here and there, but otherwise a very simple and clean room. I could see someone liking to escape to that room for some peace and quiet from the noise of their life. As for the black cover on the tv, I understand that. I don't have a tv in my bedroom because I want it to be a calm place to sleep in. Tv's are too distracting, but sometimes he probably liked having one there so he could watch something without having to go somewhere else in the place. Also, that electronic stuff can be an eyesore.
