@@TruthSerum101 Yes, Regina much higher. Even at this age. Regina studied opera briefly and was classified as a soprano. It's more audible in her earlier material.
@@KajiVocals Right. I got to see Regina in concert in the eighties when her voice was still in tip top shape. She sang her a__ off and had great control. One thing she and Hyman had in common was their love for Nancy Wilson who was a huge influence on both. However, Hyman's beautiful voice was a singularly magical thing. She sounded like sex and looked like a goddess. Seeing her in small clubs was like entering a dream world. The last time I saw her in a small club, one of her background singers was a nerdy Rachelle Ferrell.

Jon, I was wondering the same thing. I don't think she was trying hard, I do believe that she was maybe "touch" about the tribute of Phyllis. I can not quite put my finger on what was going on with Rachelle Ferrell performance. It was still a blessing for Rachelle to do a tribute to her friend Phyllis.

Good job but can’t come close to the original.
It sounds just like the original. You just like Phyliss but their voices are similiar and musically it sounds like a live version of the song.
Regina is my Cousin, and she sang back up for Phyllis. She's not trying to be her, this is a TRIBUTE/COVER.
She's not the original but she did a great job I love me some Phyllis Hyman also I just became a new fan of hers but to be cold to Regina let's not forget Phyllis had what they call now terminal illness
