The connection type of the electrical hookup is the starndard European CEE. You will find it all around Europe, although some sites still use the household type (schuko) connection. Actually the way you had it hooked up is not according to code, you are supposed to have a "male" CEE plug on the end of the long cable and if you need to hook up to a schuko outlet then you use a short adapter cable with a "female" CEE connector at one end a schuko plug at the other. I'm glad you have enjoyed your visit to Amsterdam despite some garbage on the street. Have a good time on the rest of your trip, I'm looking forward to seeing your videos about it.
In a city, especially one with a lot of litter, I would worry about Ms Lucy coming in contact with drugs. There have been dogs here in the US impacted by that. Happy travels! Great seeing Amsterdam.
That's a place I want to get to some day, maybe not as much as when I was much younger but I'd still like to visit in the 10 or 20 years I have left on this earth. Keep the good stuff coming guys and give Lucia a treat for me.
Kibbeling was originally a recipe for cod, but nowadays different kind of white fish are used. If you want a large chunk of that, ask for a lekkerbekkie. Slightly different, but at least as good -if not better.
That campsite looks better for big vehicles, I've generally used Camping Vliegenbos om the other side of the river (free river taxi over to Dam central station). That 16A outdppr plug is pretty standard you'll get good use from it.
I've was there in Amsterdam for a week while visiting my grandparents in Germany. It was dirty (nasty lol) then too. Great video. Thanks Don from California
Interesting video. I'm surprised there aren't issues over you taking Lucy on public transit. The food looked really interesting. Take care of yourselves and Lucy.
Nope, dogs are allowed on public transport in most of Europe. One country charged for dogs (I think it was Hungary), but otherwise it’s typically free. Very pet friendly.
Almost every bar/cafe has the pervading smell of cannabis in Amsterdam, more so since the on street ban. My everlasting memory is of coming out of a bar with a colleague, bumping into another colleague and him saying "You two stink!" and promptly pushing us into a canal, it was freezing as December. Those Brownies probably tasted so good as may have had Cannabis in them.
Love seeing your happiness all together
Thank you 🙏 all for sharing

I saw things on the ground that could have been candy or dangerous to Lucy.
We are not risking that.

Rebecca. The stroopenwaffles are made to sit on the rim of the tea cup to heat and melt the inside :) enjoy :)
Wow, that’s great to know! I love tea so I’ll try that next time I find some stroopenwaffles! Any type of tea that goes best with them?
@@outliersoverland i like english breakfast or irish cream with them. but any tea works.
The herring looks good. Interesting place for sure.
Loved the variety of meat pies in Australia.
Surprised it was dirty as we always hear how clean it is. Lucy looked like she was listening to the tour guide 🤣🤣
It's only that bridge and a couple of small streets around it that are lik that. The rest of the city is mint.
