Not sure I'll ever be in the market for an Air B-n-B in the near future but you never know. The interior of the condo very much reminded me of my sister's house in West Palm Beach. It is about 100 years old now. Keep the good stuff coming guys.
I would love to see you guys travel the Cassiar Highway to Alaska and the Magruder Road in Idaho! There are still many adventures for you in North America.
Funny story…. We drove the Cassiar in 2016 in our old motorhome and we got a new camera on our way through Anchorage. I messed up the settings and the entire drive’s footage was unusable.
There’s a lot of brokies commenting on here. If this was 30 miles north in San Diego…that place would rent for $8 to $10k. Nothing’s cheap anymore people…unless you go to Asia.
I was just past your place last week. You are further North and nearer Rosarito than I imagined. Are you going to be able to get back to Alaska before Fall? Enjoy your next adventure.
Rosarito is a beachfront suburb of Tijuana, and that's just over the border from San Diego. It does not take long to cross the border into Mexico, and it is possible to get a card which shortens the time it takes to get back into the US. For people who don't go back and forth regularly, it is still convenient to southern California, but is a lot cheaper than San Diego for an ocean view, beach side apartment. So owners are not going to rent their property for extremely cheap prices, just to fit the idea that everything is necessarily cheap in Mexico. It's still much cheaper that beach community apartments in Southern California. And they have a couple of RUclips channels.
@@dollymando They have businesses (plural). She has a business advising business she works on wherever they are, only she doesn't work on it onscreen. He also has a seasonal business of fishing guide when they are in Alaska. They also own property they rent out, I believe.
That’s a pretty substantial increase over the mortgage payment on my pre 1880s Pioneer home in an upscale premium neighborhood in Portland Oregon. I thought Mexico is supposed to be a lower cost of living region.
Most people don't want such an extremely old house. We don't want huge and continuing repair/renovation expenses, among other things. So to us, that house may not be a good value. Also, brah, you're in freeking PORTLAND. No thanks.
We really enjoyed you condo video tour. How did you get this lovely apartment? Did you use a realtor? If you did, can you please share his/her contact info?
Hi guys, good to catch you again! It looks lovely and relaxing... Ignore the naysayers in comments, enjoy your life, no one is guaranteed a tomorrow. Hugs!
The DOJ recently told us that most of the fentanyl is brought over here by Americans that drive to Mexico to get it themselves. If you like to vacation in Mexico I'm automatically mistrustful of you.
$1,600 a month in Mexico is too high. Looks like the owner is trying to get as much as they can, forgetting that the condo they're renting out is in Mexico. And not the best location either. Must have seen you coming! No thanks.
I own a home on the Beach in Rosarito. 3b 2-1/2 bath. 2,100 sf with a 1200 sf roof top terrace. I rent it for $2100 a month. My realtor wanted me to list it for $2,500 but I rented it out for $2,100. Rents are going up everywhere…even México.
We won't pay nearly that much in mexico. That's silly. Good if you can afford it, but perhaps you failed to research and bargain adequately (thereby helping to drive up rents for the rest of us foreigners). We rented a small apartment, admittedly nothing near as big or nice as your place, for less than $800 per month including the air bnb fee and government tax, for two months this upcoming winter, in Rosarito.
Looks perfect to spend a few months relaxing and making plans. Glad you enjoyed the time there Cheers and safe travels.
What a spacious condo!! I'm loving the colors and breathtaking beaches that Mexico has to offer!!💙💚💛🧡🌅 And Have a Happy Fourth of July, guys!!🎉🎉🐶🤗

Wow looks like a decent place to chill for the summer. We go to Los Gaviotas.
Like the states..The first years rent is cheap but every year the price goes up..yeah ...it does

Thats expensive for mex. Should be at least half that
Yes, they seem quite well-off for not having actual “jobs”
Agree it's way too expensive

That's an exaggeration, but yes they paid more than we would for that.

It's still there. We will return in September after tourist season. You know me, I can't stand crowds of people.

WHERE ARE THE PICKLEBALL COURTS!!!!
high on the howwwwwwwwwwwg!!!!!!!!!!!!!
11 stories high!
Doesn't seem much like a bargain to me.
No thx Argentina much more affordable
So is much of Mexico!
No comparison to Argentina, much safer, more cultural diversity, beautiful architecture, offset from N.A. season and so much more...

Hi Ben Rebecca and Lucy you certainly get a lot for your money in Dublin you would pay that for a box room take care and stay safe
