PV is so Americanized. It has no feel of Mexico at all. Us gringos have driven the prices up so high and ruined it just like we did in Costa Rica!

PV has been ruined. So overbuiltand Americanized. It’s also become a gay playground. So different than it was 30 years ago.

Mexican has gotten very expensive. Most things are more than the United States and the new government is very scary now be careful things are changing in Mexico

I acquired my permanent residency via the Seattle Consulate and finished the process in Puerto Vallarta.

You may want to up your story page accuracy by including Mexico as part of the North America continent, which it is.

Did i just hear her say “ Perhaps a better quality of life “ (in Mexico) ? WOW i thought i would never hear those words uttered in my lifetime but i believe we are there.

We are definitely there. I tell people that all the time here (I live in San Diego) and most Americans don't believe it (most of those people haven't even visited deep Mexico and think all of Mexico is like Tijuana) when I say it but it definitely is true.

    Hola!
My Wife and I want to retire in Mexico!
    We only require two things.
    In order of importance.
    1. Bicycle friendly.
    2. Beach life.
Where would you suggest we look?

Good start Risa, however for a more authentic Mexico, skip Quintana Roo. It’s too commercialized. A few great alternatives are Huatulco and Puerto Escondido.
    Just my two cents!

Puerto Escondido Infrastructure is lacking. It is not near anything. If people are still working it's not suitable. Huatulco is nice but pales to PDC

My target is 2027 to move to Puerto Vallarta! I live the west coast vibe (I live in SoCal) and it is so beautiful! I visited Playa in April and I really like city, but not enough to shift coast, 😂.

Buenas noches. My wife and I love your videos. We try to get to Mexico whenever we can. Do you have a similar video for the Caribbean coast? My wife and I have fallen in love with Puerto Morelos, but have yet to travel the rest of the Yucatan peninsula. We both look forward to seeing more from you…

There’s a lot to explore here! While Playa Del Carmen is very commercialized like Cabo and Puerto Vallarta, in Puerto Morelos and south of Playa you’ll find more authenticity and around the peninsula you’ll find ancient Mayan ruins and history with lots of beautiful cenotes and lagoons, tons of great food and lots of community. The 2nd largest coral reef in the world is off this Caribbean coast!

I really enjoy watching your Channel and grateful for the work you put into it. My interest in moving to Mexico has been a dream of mine for many years. I am a Surfer from California who just gets by living in Southern California, and realize when I retire (2 1/2 years) or might wait until September 2027 depending on my pension amount. I won't be able to afford a decent life in California. It's my wife , and disabled Son that will be retiring with me. I'm just hoping with minimum income one needs to be a resident in Mexico I'll be accepted. I think I will be okay with Social Security benefits, 401k, and pension. It's the not knowing part that I need to be educated on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
