- Happy Wednesday my loves. I have dreamt about visiting Amsterdam for a long time and Helgi and I finally decided to visit. We immediately fell in love with the city and its vibe! The buildings in the city are so unique and charming and I would love to live there someday hehe. One thing that stood out was the food, everything that we tasted was so delicious. Come along on our journey in Amsterdam.

R.e Helgi’s comment about gettting furniture in the house. Many of the houses have hooks coming out the top of the buildings to hoist large furniture up the side of the building and through the window rather than up all the stairs! (I don’t know how much this is used now but when I went I thought this was an interesting fact) Another fact I love about Amsterdam is that the houses were charged based on the square metres of the bottom not the overall size, hence the tall buildings

What a great tour of Amsterdam! Crowds are noticeably smaller than when I was there last June. I might need to think about a winter trip. The pizza and cookies look so good and I'm so glad you didn't edit out the birds being birds. Ha!
yes winter can be a good time to travel, even though it’s colder and darker, because there are fewer people all around and you have more time and privacy to explore and experience🥰✨
