I would freak out if I walked into a music store and saw Broken Bells playing live.
This, in my opinion, is better than the album version. They definitely should make an Acoustic EP!
I was thinking the same thing! I was actually disappointed after hearing the album version. This acoustic version's really good. Very rarely I think acoustic versions sound better than album ones, but here is one of the few exceptions :)
These guys are excellent live.
That little girl is probably way too young to realize but she just walked into a room of greatness. One day she will realize just how epic it was to be in the presence of two great songwriters. The piano chords in this song are very haunting but in a good way that sends shivers up the spine. Very good lyrics as well. Nice to know there's still real talent left in the music business. Thanks James and Brian!

Those people walked in, especially that little girl, now know the power of live music and Broken Bells.
This is better than the album version. Dunno why, but it's beautiful.
I'd say the piano is the reason why.

Danger Mouse even noted at the beginning of the video that he was having trouble remembering lyrics from writing so many songs lol.

He sounded a little pitchy at parts (probably because this is the first live performance of the song), but the song itself sounds amazing. The song itself sounds really hard to sing live, so that could be it too. Didn't think anything would top After the Disco, but I was wrong. Can't wait for the full album release :)

this is good, very nice... but this is not greatness. And i dont mean the live performaces, i mean the song... but... dont jump on my throat, this is really good.. but the bar has been set too high by the greats before them.
