    This video is really a big help as I am having the same issue with a police vehicle that I just bought. Thank you! As soon as I figure out how to get the liftgate open I will try this.

    Thank you so very much. You just saved me $180 at the dealership.
    I just changed out my wire harness on my Tahoe because I had wire damage from my windshield wiper fluid line disconnected right above the fuse box.
    I was wondering what was that box for. I had the same problem. Remotes not working and tire light on.

      Hello. Thank you for posting your comment. I am glad that the video helped you save money. The black box that you saw is the receiver for the remote.
      Let me know if you have any other questions. Have a blessed day.

    Yep had both issues at the same time on my 2011 Suburban ("Service tire monitor system" and keyless entry stopped working). I unplugged my module. Turned engine on and off. Cleaned module and harness connectors with electronic cleaner spray. Plugged back in. Turned engine back on. All works again. Don't know if the step of turning engine on & off accomplished anything, but that's what i did.

    Thank You! Subbed! Fixed my problem. Receiver got wet after a tree limb fell through window during storm. Corrosion set in and TPMS and Fobs went down. Both systems run on the same frequency (315 MHZ). Oh, and $10 @ LKQ

    • @92BiminiCoupe
      @92BiminiCoupe Год назад

      @@TurnThemWheels In my case, it was a new to me vehicle that didn't come with fobs. So yes, I went to my local locksmith and got it reprogrammed. If you are using existing fobs that were working before, then you won't need reprogramming, and they along with TPMS will just start working once the faulty transmitter is replaced. Did you get your new transmitter yet?

      My vehicle 2012 Suburban. Donor receivers for my vehicle: 2009-2011 Acadia and Traverse. Location on donors; Raise back hatch and pull down headliner a little bit in center of opening. At the time my LKQ had no Suburbans but had 3 of donors. I got all 3 for $20 JIC. Hope this helps.

    Also bought a 2007 Chevy Tahoe myself cannot figure out how to get the key fob to work. I had bought one off of eBay and bought it up to the locksmith and they told me that that one probably was not the right one and that I needed original Chevrolet key fob so I went to my local dealership and spent $123 for a key fob just to find out that, it would not work well then I took my truck to Chevy itself to have them figure out the problem and they told me that I needed it that same exact sensor in order for my key fob to work and my remote start. They tried to charge me 750!
