I just bought 2 on Amazon for $20 for my 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe and the instructions said that a dealer or locksmith had to program it 😒. I was like their has to be a way I can do it myself
I heard some say they had to bring it to the dealer to have it programmed.. I’m not sure why I wouldn’t link up ,I’m pretty sure you watched the video and tried the steps..I don’t know if it’s because mine is a ppv or not but I would definitely try it again & if for some reason it doesn’t link then I would contact the dealer and let them do it should be like $20 👍
@Da_whip_Stop my DIC doesn't have the option to reprogram key or FOB. I watched a lot of videos. The 2014s seem to be special for some reason. I got a call into a locksmith. Will note it when I hear back.
Are you sure you have a 2013, because GM stopped that remote learn feature in 2011, unless as you say you have PPV and maybe there are other options. On my 2013 LTZ that menu is not available and I had to go to the dealer to have it programed.
Yes it’s a 2013 ppv ,i don’t know the reason why yours doesn’t have that feature... do you have the diver Information buttons.. if so then you would just lock your doors & hold lock & unlock at da same time for 15 seconds until you hear the door lock or unlock

It’s the 4 buttons that’s sit to the left of the middle ac vent. I have a video of me installing mine. The plug is aready there. But if you don’t have one you can use the black reset button that’s on the dash like I did👍

Usually 2013 and above there’s no manual way you have to go to dealeship

Just lock yo doors first .. hold the lock & unlock buttons until you hear your locks clicking & you are good
I have a 2011 Chevy Tahoe PPV and mine doesnt have that feature its only on the 2007-2010 the 2011+ you have to go to the dealer to program it

2014 Suburban doesn't have that remote learning option, can't program it.
Use the dlc switch to put it in learning mode
