You’re are right about the fuel cost once you mod these things out, but it is sure worth it. Awesome shee brother.
Facts! Most people don’t know how to ride these things. Or any 2 stroke for that matter. Then they wonder why their always rebuilding. Not realizing put putting around in the woods will tear this bike up faster than hauling ass on it
FACTS! There is a difference between hauling ass and keeping in in the power band a just flat out reaming the piss out of it just because it's a 2 stroke.
Just a word of advice from learning the hard way, never go Chinese on 3 things ever. Pistons, carbs or brakes. Last things you want to fail and last thing you should ever skimp on.

I just bought for a 1000 bucks runs. Really good first quote I've ever owned. It is fast just for a stock quad. Gonna eventually build it up one of these days but for now, I just like to ride the trails of the woods in Washington.

my sister used to have the banshee 500cc 2 stroke had it stock vut then she rebuil the engine and replaced the plastics and all the exhausts brakes all new rims and tires was so pinned couldnt even ride it was too scary
I give you props man you must have balls of literal steel I like speed but that's a little much for me right now due to my lack of experience riding but even if I had a couple years riding experience I wouldn't ride like that
I would go at least a +6, I run a +8 on my 4mm cub and I do everything fine. Wheelies are cool I guess, but If he wants to be competitive at the drags, he’s going to need a longer swingarm for sure.

On my 82 IT250 I used high temperature small heater hose for exhaust clamp. Works great and absolutely no leaks.
